This is a great dress! It's well cut and I received a bunch of compliments. The material is on the heavier side, which made it a little hot at a 99-degree wedding, but I loved it anyway. The color is more emerald than it looks in the RtR picture, which I think is nicer. The straps and waist were a little roomy on my shorter torso, but not so much that it looked weird. Even the regular length was long on me and people were stepping on it on the dance floor. I recommend wearing the highest heels you're comfortable in if you're 5'4" or under. Overall, I had a great time in this dress!

Almost too classy for a high school prom (I'm in my first year of college and wanted to avoid anything sparkly or poofy). Amazing construction, SO flattering for those of us with a little extra booty. I have a smaller chest and needed a large padded bra to fill out the top, but luckily that was no problem since this dress easily accommodates a regular bra. This was one of a lineup of backup dresses sent to me after my original one was ruined and I can't believe I didn't order it the first time. This dress is magic and I would absolutely recommend it!

The dress fit beautifully. Once I put on sticky-boobs my dress did not gap too much around the bust. The only section this dress was tight on was just below my boobs where my diaphragm is; it was hard to take very deep breaths while sitting, but other than that this dress was amazing. The fabric is not too heavy but not super light, so dancing was not a problem! My prom was absolutely amazing and this dress made me feel so elegant compared to all of the sparkles on every one else's dresses. I fully recommend this dress, it was so true to size. I am 17 and also ordered a 2, yet it was very big around my stomach and shoulders.

Fit is a bit tight in bust and if you are taller than 5ft 3 with 3 inch heels go for L

Loved this gown!! The neckline was great as I am busty and was worried it would be too deep of a scoop. Fit is fantastic and though I would recommend a strapless bra, a balconette style could be worn. I wore the 8L as I am 5'8" and was planning on wearing heels and it worked out perfectly. Great color that would work for any season. Fabric was heavy enough that the dress laid perfectly...no wrinkled skirt. I'd definitely rent it again if I needed a gown this color in the future.

I felt this dress ran very true to size. I am 5'8 and the length was perfect. Heavy fabric so it lays perfectly without wrinkling.

The dress is true to size & fits very well in the bust & hips. I wore 3 inch heels & it was perfect. Any taller of a heel would have been too much. The forest green color is even more gorgeous in person. I would rent this dress again!

The color is a bit darker in person, like a deep emerald. The bodice was very structured, tight -- I couldn't have worn a bra (I didn't want to anyway), but a woman with a smaller cup size might be able to do so (or need to do so). There was still no show-through, though, because the material is a good, thick cotton (or cotton sateen?) with NO stretch. I could have worn the 4, but for some reason the 4L was MUCH longer than the 2L, and I didn't want to wear 5" heels. The 2L was perfect with my 2-3" heels (I'm 5'6"). I say the sizing is pretty true -- I'm usually between a 2 and 4, and I could have gone either way with this one.

This is a terrific dress. I wore the 2R v the 0R, which was just too tight. The 2R was perfect - a smidgen long though and I had on 5 inch heels. Otherwise just perfect. Substantial fabric, beautifully made. The color is a beautiful bright green - not dark. I got compliments on the dress all night long. Everyone just loved it.

Dress fit great. Good for we ladies who are a bit busty, but kept it classy. I could wear a short heel with it, and it was perfect. I'm 5'6. If you're smaller busted, you could wear a regular bra, no problem. Back is low, but not too low.

At 5'0 the dress skimmed the ground with three inch heels. This dress was actually my third choice as the other two weren't returned or were ruined. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it got and how comfortable I was ALL NIGHT LONG. Definitely need jewelry to spice it up. Oh, it also comes in baby pink and black!

This dress is a quality fabric with a form fitting fit. It runs true to size except in the length. I am 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels and I originally ordered the regular length. It was WAY short. Luckily they had it available in the long. It was perfect. It's a beautiful dress that comes across fancy without being flashy. I ordered it as my backup dress and decided to wear it due to it's understated beauty. Perfect for the gala I attended!

Flattering dress, especially if you're curvy. The color was beautiful, loved it with my red hair. The 4 fit, but the 6 was more comfortable. The top was very fitted, but the waist and hips are extremely roomy. I wore a very high heel and am not very tall (5'3"), I could have even done a 6L. Fabric was nice and thick and you can wear a normal bra which is a plus! Got lots of compliments, would rent it again.

This was my second choice after the first dress I ordered didn't fit well, but the customer service rep was extremely helpful. The 4L fit well around the bust and shoulders, but was a little big around the hips. The long is LONG, so I recommend getting the regular if you're 5'7 or below and want to wear 3-4' heels. Overall, I really loved the dress and couldn't be happier with the experience!

I am 5'4 , 145lbs and wear a size B bra. I blessed in my rear and thighs. After thoroughly reviewing this same style in black, pink and purple, i decided to get the 8R and 10R. The 10R was way too big, the 8R was a little big, but i put a corset on that filled the top out a little more along with a normal bra. So if you are smaller on top and bigger on the bottom (hourglass), this probably isn't the best dress if you like more of a snug fit, because it definitely shows all curves. The 8R would have fit much better if I had bigger busts, but I made it work with no problem. Now for the length.... I am typically a 3 inch heel wearer. I wouldn't do so in the dress. With 2 inch heels it still didn't touch the floor. I wish i would have ordered the 8L and it would have probably been perfect. I also added the belt to break up the dress a little.

The dress is gorgeous and the quality is great; however, it is not at all suitable for straight and narrow body types (contrary to the description saying so). The bust and waist are very tight (couldn't wear a bra), but the hip area just hung off of me. I was still able to wear the dress since the top held it up and the dress was very structured.. But it wasn't an ideal fit at all.

Ended up overnighting a smaller gown than what I normally wear. Still a little loose in the midsection but for pretty great everywhere else. Length was great. I'm 5'7 wore heels and I had the regular.

I got this in 2 long and 0 regular, and wore the 2 because it fit my chest better (I'm a 34D). It was still a bit tight in the chest, but not tight enough in the waist. The length was almost perfect but about an inch long. If I were to order it again, I would get a 2 Regular (I'm 5'6"). Nevertheless, I thought it was an incredibly gorgeous dress. The material is perfection--it's thick and beautiful. The color is stunning. I wore it for prom and felt very happy in it and got so many compliments. If it looks too simple for your taste, keep in mind that the color is stunning and you will stand out in it!

The dress was absolutely perfect. The emerald green dress was definitely a stand out. I am about 5'7", wore 2 inch heels, and the lengths was perfect. Any higher heel though and I probably should have ordered the long. This dress is great for busty girls because it holds everything in and keeps it classy while still showing off your curves. Love this dress and received compliments all night.

The color is beautiful (it is darker than pictured on the model). The fabric is heavy and doesn't hold wrinkles. The size 4R was a good fit, just a little long - I wore four inch heels and needed to pin the shoulders up. The 2R was a little tight in the waist but a much more reasonable length if you are petite. The whole process of receiving and returning the gown was easy, and customer service is wonderful. I absolutely recommend this dress, and look forward to using RTR again!

I rented this dress for a formal wedding in October in Philadelphia... the material of this dress is a very thick fabric. Which held me in secure and was also on the heavier side so I wasn't freezing despite the fact that it was sleeveless. It was a tad long (I ordered long because regular wasn't available) and I also didn't wear tall enough shoes. I selfishly wore my "comfy" wedding shoes that only are a 3" heel. I received lots of compliments on the color and fit of the dress. Another home run!

This dress fit like a glove!!! Tight in all the right places and very flattering due to the thick material. The dress was too long but hem tape and the tallest heels I could find worked perfectly! I received so many compliments that I know I had one of the most beautiful dresses at the gala.

Every year I rent a dress for Mardi Gras Ball in Louisiana. This dress was by far my favorite. It fit like a glove yet I could still move and dance in it. The fabric is great- after wearing this dress it is now my favorite. I highly recommend it to any girl with an hourglass figure because it brings out your curves. You will not be disappointed!!

Bust runs small and was tight for a 34d. Hips and stomach gave me some breathing room but not much. I used a belt to finish the look and break up the dress, so to speak. Would definitely rent again, the dress was flattering, unique, photographed beautifully, and no one else had anything similar!

I usually wear a size 2 or 4 so I got both. The 2 was a bit snug but I wore the 4 mostly for extra length. I didn't necessarily need a bra but I wore one because I had a little extra space in that area. I'm between 5'5" and 5'6" and wore 4 inch heels and it was the perfect length. The 2 would have been too short. I wore this for a black tie wedding and got tons of compliments. Definitely recommend!

Really figure-flattering fit. Dress seemed a little plain on the hangar but the color is such a rich, gorgeous jewel tone and the fit is really everything. Was a little tight across the bust for me but I kind of felt like a princess in a corset. Very heavy material to suck you in at the right places.

The weight of the material makes it feel great on and helps the dress maintain shape. The color is stunning and it is fun to wear - perfect length for my short frame, not too tight up top or through the middle and flows away from the body in all the right places.

I loved wearing this dress. It's a stunner - so elegant and classy and lovely - but simple enough that you can wear it in a sea of knee-length cocktail dresses and not feel overdressed (this was my experience, as I wore it to a wedding that was not black tie). I'm a sucker for a green dress, and the color did not disappoint. It would have been a perfect-rating dress, but I had to knock off a star for the fit. I typically wear a size 2 in dresses, but sometimes a 2 will be tight around my hips/derrier, and I'll go up to a 4. This dress in a 2 had plenty of room around my hips, but was very tight around the bust, and wouldn't zip.. In the end I felt good in the 4, but it was not an ideal fit - loose around the waist and hips. If you are a busty 0 or 2, definitely size up. The length was good for me.

In order to get the dress to fit my butt I had a size 12 which is too large for me so it did not "hug in at the waist like in the picture. However, wearing it felt wonderful. The skirt is nice and full without being too "ballgown-y."

I ordered the 0R and the 2R but the 0R never arrived so I was stuck with only the 2. The 2 was large at the waist and tight on top. The color is beautiful in person, more of a jewel tone emerald in person. Received a lot of compliments and stood out at a formal wedding.

I was worried that the dress would be too long since I'm short but paired with my highest heels it just grazed the floor. I would recommend anyone of average height to rent long. The stomach portion of the dress was pretty loose but the rest fit well.

The dress fit perfectly until it came to my hips...I am cuvry so the dropped waist proved to be a problem. The material had no give to it and would not fit over my butt!!! Definitely go a size up if you have curvy hips or a big butt! Otherwise you will find the dress will just bunch up at your stomach...Really wished I could have worn this dress though. It is gorgeous in an understated way.

I love this dress. Everything about it is super flattering, minus the fact that you need to order a size up if you have any hope of actually wearing this dress for you event. I ordered another dress for an event, and this dress came as my back up in the 8L, and I could zip it up, but the 10L would have been much more flattering. It was just a bit too tight to be the right dress. Also, a heads up, it's a bit short too. I wear very tall heels usually (4" and up) and you definitely would have seen my shoes. I would've have minded because I had a really cool gold option, but just be warned.

Get fit. If you are a true 5'6", get the long version if you are planning to wear heels.

The dress fits big on the waste. If you have a smaller waist and bigger hips this dress will make you look like you have no butt and no waste. That is the biggest disadvantage: not being able to taylor dresses when you rent. Otherwise, the color and fabric were beautiful.
