I wore this dress to my rehearsal dinner and it was PERFECT. I didn't want to wear the standard white dress so this was a nice alternative that still incorporated white. I go back and forth between 8s and 10s in dresses. The 10 fit perfect. The fabric had a bit of give so you could breath. But at the same time it was a firm fabric that "held you in" nicely. I didn't have to pull it up all night long. I want to wear it again!

This dress was absolutely perfect for a black tie optional wedding! I didn't want to wear something long but wanted something a little more dressy than a regular cocktail dress. I received tons of compliments at the event and from people who saw pictures after. It was very comfortable to wear and dance in throughout the night (and even bowl afterwards!) The dress does wrinkle if you're sitting and moving in it throughout the night but not significantly more than other dresses. Highly recommend!

So let me first describe the fit of this dress - true to size, great thick quality material. You may sweat in this dress if you love to dance like me! However, I could tell this dress has been worn quite a bit. The hem was starting to drop a little and the top was a bit worn. Regardless, it was still a great dress if you're looking for something classy but unique. I discovered how great RTR customer service was when they notified me that the backup size 2 I had ordered for this dress was either never returned or ruined. They let me know that I could order and dress + it's back up size regardless of cost. It was an unfortunate situation, but being given that option was great. I received all 3 dresses on time, and luckily I was still able to wear the dress I originally ordered for this event. But it was comforting to know I had a backup just in case.

This fit fairly well - the top was a bit big around the bust and there was a really odd hem issue only noticeable once pointed out. Otherwise a TON of compliments and incredibly satisfied. I was also working the event so I need to not have to tug on my dress- the inside corset like thing ensured this dress would not fall down.

This dress was perfect! The built in corset allowed me to wear it without a bra. I usually wear a 4-6. Before leaving for Mexico the 4 fit best. Then after being in Mexico for a few days-drinking by the pool and eating whatever, the 4 was a little tight but it still worked! I got compliments all night! Beautifully made!

This dress is gorgeous and fun! The fit is true to size. I am usually a 6; I ordered a 6 and a 4 and ended up wearing the 4. The skirt is not fitted around the hips, so the only concern is to have the size fit your chest. The length was very nice for a short dress that is still classy.

I wore this dress to our local Addy Awards. This dress was a hit with the creative types. Different but not too different. It's one of those dresses that looks odd on the hanger, but trust me PUT IT ON!! The dress has a good weight to it plus a built in corset. No need for a bra and the skirt would hide a belly or hips. I found the corset a little tight, if you are larger than a D cup I would size up for a back up. Love this dress!!

I have a small bust and like the top of dresses to be tight (so I'm not pulling up on it all night) and the 0 was a perfect fit for me. I wore the dress to my cousins Florida wedding and got a lot of compliments. It was comfortable, fun and flirty. Only tiny complaint would be that keeping it ironed to my likings the whole night was nearly impossible - the fabric wrinkles easily and the shorter in the front, longer in the back hem was a little difficult to arrange just right. But overall, really lovely dress!

The fit was perfect, I couldn't wear a bra with it or it was too tight. But, it looked better without one anyway. It was the perfect length for me and I am 5'2". It was surprisingly soft material, so very comfortable for the evening. Everyone complemented the dress and I felt beautiful!

I selected this dress for my company's annual national sales meeting awards night banquet. I had a great year and had a feeling I'd be walking up on stage to collect some trophies and wanted something that would stand out from a typical LBD without raising eyebrows too high. The fit was so flattering, and the flare/flow of the semi-low train in the back gave it a little sass. I got nothing but compliments all night in it- along with accolades for my performance. I loved it so much I actually purchased it from Net-A-Porter afterwards to have for myself. For fit, the top was a teeny tight but it has an internal bustier that zips separate from the actual dress's side zip. I ended up wearing it without a bra and felt completely comfortable (without fear on the dance floor, too). The black top and "bone" (not exactly white) bottom give you plenty of options to style for accessories. Rent this one!

Very fitted in the corset, bra isn't necessary as there is a lot of structure built in. Very loose in the hips.

I wore it to a school dance that was formal and masquerade themed it fit well with the theme. The dress is definitely a head turner. I wore a 10 it was a little big in the chest but the 8 was too tight. I personal am in between and 8 and a 10 in dress size which explains the sizing situation. I would recommend steaming it before you wear it, just to give the extra touch. I wore about 4 inch wedges and the length was great. I didn't wear a bra and I wouldn't recommend wearing one. There is a built in one kind of and it is so much more comfortable than the hassle of a bra. I felt like the most beautiful person in this dress, just absolutely gorgeous!

I wore this dress for my husband's work party at a nice hotel. It was everything I hoped it would be: beautiful, comfortable, flattering, and nothing like anyone else was wearing. A perfect stranger walking into the hotel even complimented me on the dress. I do wish I had rented the size 6 as a back-up, but not because the dress runs big. I pick sizing in dresses for my hips and booty. Well, afraid the fitted bust with boning would hit lower than the waist, I rented the 8 and 10. The fitted part hits exactly at the waist, so if you're pear shaped like me and usually wear a certain size for your hips, I'd think about sizing down for back-up if your bust is quite a bit smaller than your hips. The skirt is VERY full, and will have plenty of room for you. I found myself pulling the dress up because it would start sliding down . Size 6 would have stayed in place better. But, that is my "fault," so I could not count that against the dress. It was PERFECT!!!

This dress made a HUGE splash - people loved it and the compliments just poured in. On top of that, it was fun to wear! I felt comfortable, never having to unjust or fiddle. The built in corset style top also meant I didn't have to wear a bra (and I'm a 32-D so it's rare that a dress supports me enough on it's own). The fit was lovely and the length flattering. The only problem was having to send it back!

This was the perfect dress for New Year's Eve, and I believe I had the pleasure of being the first one to wear this size (since I removed the retail tags before wearing it). When I walked into the fine-dining restaurant my Husband runs, to pick him up and take him out, I was met with a barrage of compliments and heads turned. I knew I would love this dress, because I'd rented another Halston dress in the past, same cut and style, just different fabric/ color. It fit beautifully ,just like before, and has the same separate built in, zippered and boned bodice on the inside of the top, which is very supportive. It sucks you in with no need for a bra. The best part was that my husband really loved it. He said it was his favorite rental so far.

I rented the 2 and 4 and decided on the 4 to have more room in the bust. I loved this dress because it was flattering and elegant, which was the perfect combo for a NYE party. This dress is a standout without being too "out there."

I fell in love with this dress on the web site. When I ordered this dress in a 6 my back up size the 8 was not available. So I chose another dress by the same designer in an 8 because the tops of the dresses were cut very similar. Reviews stated it ran small in the bust and I'm bigger up top. Reviews were right, it was just too snug to work. I wear a 4-6 in street clothes and size up in formals ( I find that formals run small). I may look for this dress again in the bigger size next time.

The dress is very comfortable, BUT BEWARE - it is best for smaller chested gals because the top is VERY tight. I am currently a 34A/B. Though there is a pretty cool built-in corset that keeps everything in line. The fabric is really thick with a great lining, and I was kind of surprised that it didn't feature pockets. I wore this dress for my black and white ball themed work party. Overall it's a fantastic dress that I received compliments on all night!

Very easy to wear, great to dance in gown! Wore for a party that had a future/sci-fi theme and got compliments all night. Wish I had a better photo to share. The built in bra/corset was comfortable and provided support, so that even with a larger bust, I felt fine without a strapless bra. Only negative was that it seems like when the dress was cleaned after returning from its previous renter, the lining stretched so it wasn't a very nice, clean hem along the bottom of the gown.

I wore this to a red carpet event with celebrities present. They kept coming up to me and asking me the age-old "who are you wearing" question. Amazing feeling. As far as the fit goes, there is an internal zippered bodice I couldn't zip up because it felt too tight. I would go up one size from your regular fit. I ordered a size down and it was almost too tight. Make sure you have a steamer on hand, you will need it to get the inevitable box wrinkles out.

I was able to wear the 4 but the 2 (if it had been available) would have fit so much better. Still had compliments on my " look."

I received so many compliments on the dress and felt very feminine all evening. It was a tad bit in the chest, but I wore a bra with it so it filled it out more. The lining was perfect and it looked great with the earrings I ordered to.

This dress fits true to size. It is absolutely gorgeous in person. It came as the backup to the Nha Khan Galaxy dress that I rented as well (it is equally gorgeous!). I am 5'5" and this dress falls very nicely. I wish I had another event to wear it to :-( The inside zipper cinch is a nice touch. I love the ombré look to this dress! My husband loved it so much he wanted to buy it (both of them actually!) I may rent it again for Valentine's Day- it would be perfect! Happy Renting!!!!

Gorgeous, elegant dress. Unfortunately, I was able to wear the size 6 as it had problems closing on my chest. I think a size 8 would have been perfect, but it was unavailable.

It is a beautiful dress but runs very small. I sometimes wear an 8 dress size and couldn't zip the 12 up! I'm a 10-12 jeans, Medium/36 C on top. Too bad. I was looking forward to wearing this :(

In the picture, the top of the dress looks purple-ish, but in person it's a pretty boring grey, with a slight purple tint. Also, it was too small on top for me- but I'd still say it's true to size because I am very busty (36DDD) for my size. It has a built-in corset, so you don't need a bra, which is nice. Also, for the first time I received the dress it was not pressed properly, so I would have needed to iron it if I was going to wear it. In general, it just wasn't flattering. It might be better on a less curvy woman. This was just my back up dress, and fortunately my first choice dress fit great, so it wasn't a problem. Great service from Rent the Runway- thank you!

I adore this dress. I rented it for my rehearsal dinner and was concerned about wearing a strapless dress as I tend to slouch or pull up strapless dresses. This dress has a built in bra that zips separately (make sure you zip it first otherwise the dress will look lumpy) that was both flattering and supportive. I wore a strapless bra as well but I could have gone without--really depends on your bust size and comfort level. I received so many compliments on this dress and would rent it, or a different color in the same style, again in a heartbeat.

Fits relatively true to size, I'm a true 2 in my waist, but I have a much larger bust than the dress could hold and I couldn't wear it in the end. It is really beautiful, I just wish I could've worn it.
