The dress was extremely comfortable, had lovely clean lines and in a sea of black the blue really stands out. I absolutely loved wearing this dress. I wore it with strappy gold sandals and drop earrings.

XS was fitted without being tight. I did take another reviewer's advice and bought Hollywood tape to tape the chest down otherwise it would have gaped. The tape stayed all night, through sweat and my toddler tugging at the chest. My husband thought it was super sexy! I wore about 3 inch heels and the length was about 2 inches off the ground, which was perfect so the dress never dragged or got caught. I received compliments all night long. Rent this now!!!

Since it is a jersey material you will probably want to consider wearing spanx also be careful about the key hole neck line. I had to put a couple of pieces of double sided tape to make sure my bra did not show. You can easily dress this up or down depending on your accessories, hair & make-up. The added bonus is navy is such a nice change from black!

I rented this dress for pictures my husband and I did in the fall. I typically wear a M (size 8) and felt that it ran true to size; it may have been a little large even. The dress was great but does bag in the bust; don't count on it to hide any cleavage. Overall, I really loved the dress and received many compliments over it.

After not having the backup size of this dress available last minute... RTR sent me 3 other dresses in its place, and I fell in love with one of those, which I ended up wearing to the wedding! This Halston dress was too nice not to wear, so I decided to wear it to the rehearsal dinner! Fit was perfect! True to size, hides all imperfections, and the material is so comfortable! Like others have mentioned, the top is a bit revealing and requires well placed safety pins or double tape, to keep things in place. I also found the length on the shorter side. I'm 5'5" and the dress hit the floor, which meant I was limited to wearing flats with the dress! Consider ordering this in long if available. Would highly recommend this dress! Overall I am so happy with the excellent customer service from RTR, they turned what could have been a terrible thing into a excellent situation...the whole process was seamless! Thank you RTR!

Rented this dress for my mom. It fit well and she received many compliments. Suggest getting a camisole because it is revealing otherwise.

I loved this dress! I wore it to my friend's October wedding and didn't want to take it off. The SL fell perfectly to the floor with flats (I'm 5'10"). I liked being able to wear a regular bra with it, and I did opt for Spanx underneath like other reviewers suggested. The dress is fitted so perhaps you'd want them, too. I also took a cue from the model's styling and wore a top knot with a gold bracelet. It was perfection!

Lots of compliments on the dress, and the hair. Great neckline to showcase an up-do.

This is a great simple dark navy dress that fit great! I will say it doesn't really stand out much in a sea of formal dresses. It fit great and was just long enough to wear with 3.5" heels. My favorite part of the dress is the keyhole with the gold clasp. Overall a great dress but next time Ill choose something a little more fun!

The dress fit my body perfectly. The length and the sleeves were perfect. I was able to wear 3 inch heels and the dress still touched the floor. I truly loved everything about the dress!

I LOVE this dress - super comfy and flattering. I'm 5'8, sz 14 and the XLR was a little big. I have a large bust and I found the dress a little baggy in the chest which is rare. Not terrible but there were moments of bra-showing if I wasn't careful Also, the R for someone 5'8 was too short but the L wasn't available. If you're over 5'7, be sure to get the L!

The neckline was VERY low on me-not sure if it's the size of my torso. You could see underboob! Fortunately I had ordered another dress and wore that one. Overall it was baggy and unflattering with the neckline and loose top.

First- hailstone heritage dresses are amazing. This particular dress, was not suited to my body type. Tall, slender/lean, with small chest are who this dress is made for. Get the long. At 5'7 the regular was an inch off the ground. I ended up buying a dress for my event, and this got packed up and shipped back.

I'm 5'9", this dress was to short even without shoes, I usually get a regular length. The opening in the front went down further than it looked in the pictures, not flattering if you are busty. This dress is made for a slimmer figure than mine. I wore something I already had in the end. This one was a miss.

Great dress for curvy girls. I was worried that the gape would be too open because of my chest size but this wasn't an issue at all, it was very tasteful. Dress made me feel wonderful and was so comfortable. Loved the long sleeves!

I am 5'0, around 180 lbs so i was worried that the dress would be clingy in my mid section and too long. However, the length was perfect, and the dress was not clingy at all. It was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have been happier.

Great dress however, if you're busty it will reveal lots of cleavage. Able to hide post baby belly quite well.

I rented this because it was supposed to be bump-friendly- but ended up sending it back without wearing. The ribbon waistband falls too low to accomodate a bump. The only way to really wear it, even with my fairly small bump, was to hike the waistband up above the belly and let the top be bunchy (not cute). This waist is more drop waist than empire, which is what it'd need to be to fit pregnant. I think it would work better on someone long and lean throughout, and would not generally recommend it pregnant unless you had that body type and were pretty early in the pregnancy.

I am 5'4" and it was long. But it was very glamorous dress.
