This dress is amazing! Within 10 minutes of arriving at the wedding venue, I received three compliments on the dress. It's beautiful in person, accentuates all the right curves and still really comfortable to dance in. The built-in bra was a lifesaver, and the "poofiness" of the dress was a lot of fun to dance with. The color is beautiful and perfect for an evening affair. Would love to rent again.

This dress was amazing, simply put. Not only did I receive a TON of compliments on this dress, it fit me like a glove. There is a corset on the inside of the dress, which meant I didn't have to wear a bra with it. I was on that dance floor the whole night dancing, and the dress didn't budge, unlike most strapless dresses I have worn to weddings. The color is as rich as you see online and I can see this dress being great on anyone. It is very full at the bottom, which makes me feel super sexy and cute in the dress. Definitely wished I owed it, and would recommend it. I think this dress works BEST for small busted ladies.

I absolutely loved this dress! It was my first time using Rent the Runway, but it certainly won't be my last! Off the bat their customer service is awesome because I had an issue when ordering. They took care my problem right away. When I got the dress, I was ecstatic. It fit beautifully! The built in corset and wide skirt really accentuated my waist. The texture of the fabric is very cool, almost 3D. The skirt flares out when I twirl! All around a great night made better by a great dress! I give it 6 out of 5!

It was tighter in the ribs but overall fit very nicely. Not too short like some dresses in this style. I highly recommend renting it!

This was an extra dress that I received because my original choice came back damaged - It was so great, I'm hoping to rent it for an occasion in the future. I loved the built in bra feature...36D worked fine, though I'll re-review after an actual wedding occurs with dancing! It is pretty poofy on bottom, but that made me look smaller on top and it was long enough that I didn't feel like it was too young. Great color!

I rented this dress for a black-tie cocktail event and it was absolutely perfect. A combination of feminine but sophisticated and sexy. The material is a thick tapestry and the magenta color is prettier in person than on the site. I rented the 4 and backup size 6. I wore the 4 but had wished my backup was a 2 as it overall felt a little big which has been my experience with a couple Halston Heritage dresses. Highly recommend this dress for a fun fancy event!!

I rented this because my first choice back up size wasn't available. I really wanted my first choice, which was too small, to work but once I put this dress on I knew this was the better choice. Nice heavy fabric, love the inner corset so no bra needed! Got lots of compliments. I usually wear a 4-6 in street clothes but find formal dresses run small. I wore an 8 in this. The 6 MIGHT have worked but may have been too snug up top. This is a good choice for curvy, hippy figures because the full skirt hides it.

I didn't want to send this dress back! Gorgeous thick fabric with black/magenta pattern. The dress has a shape all its own- very comfortable for sitting/dancing. Thickness of fabric suggests it's better for fall/winter events. Would rent this again.

I was concerned that the skirt was too poofy, but apparently it wasn't an issue. I received compliments all night from both women and men. I'm a pear shape, and I wore the smaller size I rented (6), but I could've worn a 4 if I had gone bra-less. Instead, I wore a strapless bra to add a little cleavage. It probably runs true to size for women with other body types. It hit me right at the knee, and I'm 5'2" I rented this a second time, and I want to note that you need to make sure this dress arrives in time to hang it in your closet and let the wrinkles fall out. The poofy skirt doesn't work if it's wrinkled.

Great fit. Loved the inner corset, it really held up the dress. The fabric was a great weight, very lux feeling. It does have more of a bell shape in the skirt compared to the picture, and feels very full. It was a much different look for me, but I loved it!

I felt like this dress ran true to size. Loved that I didn't have to wear a special bra with it-actually went without because it has a built in corset. The fabric was great quality and loved the colors. Sad to send it back.

I loved this dress, mostly because it somehow stayed in place no matter which way I bent. It does have a dual-zipper system to keep up appearances, which is great because I didn't have to wear a bra, but a little challenging to put on by myself. In fact, I just ended up having a friend come over to zip me up. Other than that, it fit great and I got lots of compliments. Great for holiday parties!

there wasn't an 8 available, and I think that would have been perfect. The 10 was a bit big in the chest so I was a little worried that if i shook too hard i'd fall out. Otherwise, got a ton of compliments and thought it was beautiful! I'd rent again!

I absolutely loved this dress. It was prefect for my work holiday party, which was black tie optional. I usually wear a 0 or 2 in RTR, and since this ran small I wore the 2. I got several complements and my co-worker also wore a fabulous RTR dress, which I loved as well. I highly recommend both!

Super comfortable. I love this dress. But the weather tanked and I went with something that had shoulder covering as I didn't have a shall. The material was nice and thick too. Loved the color. It was exactly what I expected.

I rented this for my birthday night out and it was so worth it! As other reviewers have said, the skirt has a ton of personality (it is made for twirling) and the construction does lend itself to not wearing a bra, so that's a plus. It is always nice to fit into the smaller of the 2 dresses, and I was delighted that I fit into the size 4 perfectly (and I was concerned the 6 would be too small!). The jacquard is very flattering. My dress showed no obvious signs of wear. Really this was perfect. I wore it with the Silver Glitz Bangle Set (Chamak by Priya Kakkar) and I definitely recommend the combination. This was my first time renting with RTR and it was perfect, I will definitely be renting again!

I am so in love with this dress. I'm never one to go without a bra but found that the built in bra was a perfect fit. It hooks in underneath the zipper/hook in on the outside of the dress so you may need some help getting it on. I was able to zip it up without hooking in the bra as well so if you would rather wear a strapless bra that is an option for you. This hit at a great length and the color is perfect for any time of year. The slit in the front is tasteful and didn't make me feel uncomfortable or that it hit too low.

This dress is even more beautiful in person. Its incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly. This was my first time using RTR - for me, ordering a dress online and not getting to try it on until a couple days before the event was petrifying. RTR made the whole process so easy and anxiety free that honestly I cannot wait to order from them again. I've never had so many compliments on a dress before.

I must have received about a million compliments in this dress. It has a great texture and the skirt is very flattering to those of us who have a wider hip and behind area. I have a small bust and it fit like a glove. It was great to dance in and I will rent this one again without a doubt.

The built in shape wear at the bust is great. I didn't end up wearing a bra, and that worked out perfectly.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress very much. It received many compliments during the wedding I attended. It feels terrific on and makes a girl feel like a princess with it's fluffiness. There is an inner corset that you zip up before the dress itself, which is wonderful support. I wore a black beaded 3/4 sleeve cardigan with it to keep away the chill at times. The dress fit me perfectly and I would recommend anyone to give it a try.

I rented this dress in a size 10 for a May wedding. The zipper in the back was a struggle to get up (you're definitely going to need a helping hand with it) but it fit like a glove. The boning in the top was a little uncomfortable at times, mostly when sitting down, but it kept everything up all night without a bra. The bottom was definitely poufier than it looks but with that and the boning in the chest area, everything gets cinched in and it really gives you a lovely shape from all angles. If you're a little self-conscious like I am, this is the dress to rent.

I enjoyed how fun and interesting the pattern and color was. The material was thick and textured. I would have liked to have tried the size 1 but it wasn't available. I wore a padded strapless push up to help fill out the top. I felt like the skirt poofed out a little too wide for my portions but I received a number of complements.

Though heels helps, the poof on the skirt to this dress didn't match the photos of the model or even other renters. It was almost comically large.

I usually wear a zero. I had to rent a 2 in the dress because a zero wasn't available. It was a little loose at the top even with the corset underneath. I wish I had been able to wear the zero because I think it would have been perfect. The only other thing I didn't like was how poofy the dress was. You can't tell in photos, but it really is very wide in the skirt. I still loved it, but it was a bit much for my style. Other than that, I am so pleased with the rental!

The dress was great! It fit perfectly and stayed up while I danced. I definitely would recommend. No one else had this dress and I stood out in the crowd!

Runs large and is big on top. Very flattering- gives you a great hourglass shape. The dress is an extreme fit and flare and quite dramatic...better for a party/formal event than a wedding. Great LBD alternative!

This is the photo before the zipper broke so I was unable to wear it :( would definitely still rent it again though!!! Ok so I tried this on at neiman Marcus in a size 8 but when I saw the price I immediately put it back. I couldn't stop thinking about it and was so happy when I found it on RTR! I accidentally ordered a 10 but it fit fine and was a lot more give in the back naturally. There is a built in corset which I really loved because it define my waist while the bottom poofed out pretty wide. Unfortunately after this photo, I was unable to get the zipper down all the way - seemed like a tooth either bent or broke off. I was so upset but I sent it back to RTR and they refunded me right away and sent it to go get fixed so I wouldn't be worried about renting this dress!

Loved this dress. The other reviews mentioned it had an inner corset and a bra might not be necessary. I ended up going up a size to a 6 and wearing a strapless bra rather than the 4 without one just because I was more comfortable. It was snug enough that I wasn't pulling up the dress all night. The material was also a nice, thick quality and great for a winter party. I think it would be good on most body types as well.

Loved this dress, got a lot of compliments. Very easy to wear. The inner zipper corset eliminated the need for a bra. Very comfy and warm for the winter. Decided to wear the 6 rather than the 4 because I wanted extra room at the waist.

I wore the 6 because the bust was small in the 4, (I'm a 32 DDD) but the built-in bra was great.

I am a size 4, 34C – 27–36. The fit was perfect. If you are not used to boning, it is going to feel slightly constricting but that's how this dress is made! It holds everything together! Didn't have to wear a bra with it. The material is soft and thick but not hot to wear. So happy with my first experience:)

I rented this dress to celebrate my 30th birthday at my 80's themed party. It was perfect. The built in bra was great. The zipper is a little tough to pull, and the inside linig looks very worn. I probably would not rent this again, as it is a little prom-y.

This was a backup dress. When I first received it & tried it on I was stuck in it due to the zipper being a little bent. The other dress I rented had the boning sticking out so it was not wearable, so I risked getting stuck in this again. It was awesome, & comfortable. The wedding we attended was very fancy & this dress worked great! I didn't have to do much with accessories because the dress had enough of its own personality. I would definitely rent this again.

I think it runs a bit small through the back. I usually wear a 2, but could not get it zipped up. Glad I got the free back up in the size 4. I am a little broad across my back, so that could be the issue. I also ordered the $15 mystery bling and must say that I was disappointed. Although I loved the Moschino teal quilted bag, it really did not work well with the dress. Yes, I know I am a bit of an older customer, but my 30 something daughter and daughter in law both agreed that it did not go with the dress. Guess I won't waste money on the mystery bling the next time....but the dress.....perfect!!

I wore my normal size in this dress, and even had a little room in the bust area, but I am very small there. The dress was comfortable and the fabric thick, perfect for a cool summer night. I love the way it twirled when I danced, and got so many compliments, another win for RTR!

Truly have no complaints about this dress. It fit me totally true to size, I didn't need a bra for it, it stayed up flawlessly (and I don't have a big chest) all night. The fabric is a little heavy, but the dress is strapless and I wasn't hot at all. Really wouldn't change a thing - loved this dress!
