Wore this for our community theater's "Super Groovy 70's Prom." As soon as it arrived, I tried it on and didn't want to take it off. I received so, so, so, many compliments throughout the night. I was nervous about the low neckline, but with copious amounts of fashion tape and adhesive bra cups, everything looked good and stayed in place, even after hours of dancing. The slit did feel a little.... vulnerable at times, particularly while using the stairs or sitting down, so just keep that in mind. No exposure or anything, but it felt a little close at times.

Ordered this dress for my 1920's themed birthday party. It as a big hit. It photographs less sequined than you expect (depending on the lighting) but I like that. Definitely runs big to size! I got the long to accommodate my heels and it graced the floor perfectly. Highly recommend. I didn't wear a bra or Spanx or anything and it was completely comfortable. The back is also really flattering. Hit at the perfect place. I really enjoyed this dress.

This dress runs large for size, but true to length for size. I'm small in the bust and wide in the hips . . . and after reading other reviewsI got both the SXR and SR. The SXR was too tight in the hips -- but even still was too big on top, making it evident it was designed for someone with a lot more upstairs than me (and I'm not talking brains here). I wore the SR and pinned up the halter with tiny gold safety pins to make it shorter by about 3/4" to avoid it sagging (a common problem for me). It's also *very* low cut - a problem I solved with a little broach my mom wore in the 70s (tho on her lapel -- she'd faint if she saw my implementation). (I discovered after the party there is a hook & eye near the base of the V-neck. Frankly, my solution looked better on me anyway. So there.) But even with all this -- WOW! Did this dress hit the mark!! I had a "costume change" into this dress at the halfway mark of the party . . . and my fantasy of being a big shiny, happy disco ball came true! :D This was my first TRT experience. And. It. Rocked.

It was a little bit large , but i was able to manage.

This dress is amazingly forgiving to my figure and extremely comfortable. I loved this dress.

The dress was a perfect fit in XSL. I loved how it shimmered in the LA sun. I used tape to keep the bust of the dress in place. The color was great against my skin. It was a very comfortable dress to wear. I love how it was tight in some places and draped loosely in others in a flattering way. LOVED the back of the dress and the front split. I was worried it would blow open in the wind but it never did. I got some many compliments and even mistaken for a celebrity on the red carpet. It was the perfect dress for the Grammys.

I rented this dress for NYE. The dress did run on the larger size but after reading the reviews I was prepared for this. It was super sexy and with a little fashion tape everything stayed in place. I wish I could own this dress because I LOVED it so much!

The dress runs a little larger. I normally wear a medium and I wore a small. The pictures do not do the dress justice.

This dress is great. I had a 70s themed party and wanted Halston, naturally. I suggest double sided tape. I didn't wear any and I had a couple of incidents. This was a small and I still had room. I wore 5.5 inch heels with this and it still hit the floor. Gorgeous gorgeous gown. I got tons of compliments on it.

I needed a dress for a black tie wedding and ordered both the xsr and sr after reading the review that it runs really big, i'm usually a size 4 and the xsr fit almost perfect but still a little on the looser side and hits the floor even with 4 inch heels. gorgeous dress, lots of compliments but be careful about the size you choose to go with.

The dress was gorgeous. I received so many compliments all night! I will say that if you are smaller up top like I am (34B) this dress may be a little big on the sides - even in an extra small. So have some fashion tape on hand. Other than that I loved it!

On the red carpet, photographers sum you up to see if the shot is worth it. I wore red bcbgmaxszris the night before, they looked and said "I remember you" and took as many shots of me as some more famous people. This dress grew as night went on, so go smaller.

First: this dress is sexy and comfortable. Easy to wear and conducive to dancing. That said, previous reviews were correct: this dress runs HUGE. In no way am I an extra small woman! I'm grateful to previous reviewers; without their guidance, I would have been stuck with the choice between SR and MR -- and in the SR, I would have needed lots of fashion tape and my waist would have been hidden, but I would have had greater coverage of my booty/thighs. The dress fell about an inch above the floor without shoes - I would go for XSL if I could do it over.

It runs big. I'm not a small girl and the SL was drooping in the back. I'm 5'10" and it was not floor length when I wore heels, but that wasn't really noticeable. I loved the cut in the front because it was comfortable and easy to dance, eat and drink the night away.

I wore this dress as a costume for Halloween. I went as Amy Adams in American Hustle and this dress was spot on. You will most likely want some boob tape and be careful because the sequins can scratch you under your arms. Also, I wore some short shorts underneath it because the slit can have a mind of its own.

This was a studio 54 themed party and the dress was a hit! I kept being referred to you as the new James Bond girl! I didn't hate it LOL

I rented the dress for a NYE party it was perfect. I felt glamorous and the large fit perfect. Here's a tip - tape your boobs!! I ordered spartan tape on amazon and it did the trick keeping the girls up and in place.

Perfect amount of sparkle, retro cut. It stood out among the other gowns at the event but wasn't over the top.

I rented this as a costume but would wear again for a festive function! Fit was great & flattering.

This dress was amazing for a disco themed party. I'd actually rent it again for any dressy event because I loved it so much. I'm 5'3, 125lbs and the SP was a little big, but totally wearable once I taped it down. Length was great with 3" heels. XSP probably would've been perfect. I got a ton of compliments, and the sparkle was amazing! Love this dress!

It fit perfectly especially someone 5ft like me. I felt beautiful and comfortable. The medium was great for me but I'm a 38 DD so buy a special bra for backless dresses.

The event was 1950's hollywood-themed, and this dress captured that! Comfortable with 2" heels the dress still touched the floor. I did have to knot the halter ties because there was gapping around my chest, but once I did that, I didn't tug or worry about the dress's low cut in front the entire night. I didn't need to wear stickies or any kind of bra. High waist line, so dresses hangs loosely but not too loosely around the stomach area for anyone concerned about tight-fitting middles. All in all a very sexy and very fun dress for themed and non-themed events! Everyone I met said they loved this dress and they loved how I worked into the theme a bit. Would definitely rent again!

I am 5'7" and about 195 pounds. I rented a size 14 and this dress was amazing - perfect fit. I didn't even have to wear a spank LOL I got so many compliments. That front slit is sexy. I had to pen it because I am thick in the thighs and didn't want to show too much thigh. But if you have slim legs (or don't mind showing thick thighs) leave the slit as is. This is truly a beautiful halter dress. The sequence is beautiful!

The fit was perfect I wear a Medium and the size MR was spot on. The color was perfect, it was comfortable, and the front gathering was positioned perfectly to cover mu stomach pooch.

This dress really makes you feel like a vixen! The deep v is fine with out double sided tape and the slit in the dress is perfect for the completely covers look with alll of the sex appeal. The dress is true to size having order only one size in the dress I was nervous but it fit perfect! The dress made our engagement photos priceless

This dress fit perfectly! It looks as though the top clasp had been sewn a bit tighter which was perfect because I don't have a large bust. It hugged my hips perfectly and I got so many compliments. The slit was totally sexy! On an unrelated note, the backup style dress I ordered had a zipper that did not work, so that was unfortunate.

Glorious 70's glam dress. Very comfortable and stretchy. Runs very large. Needed double-sided tape for bust area. There is a hook and eye in the neckline, but I left it unhooked, it looked better. I am 5'4" and the dress was a little long. Still fantastic looking and fun to wear! Would rent again!

The only person who loved this dress more than me was my husband! It runs big and short - I am usually a Medium and wear regular length in everything. It is bronze, not gold, but a color that would work well on any skin tone I think. Both the neck line and the slit up the side are a mile long and very flattering. I used the hook and eye clasp for the top and had my husband keep an eye on it. You cannot wear a bra with this dress which was fine for me as I am small chested. I would imagine tape or cups would be required for people with big boobs. I'll probably order this one again - I just loved it so much!

This dress runs big and stretches. It's low cut but there's a clasp u can use to minimize that. Really pretty and so comfortable!! It's sexy without being over the top. The leg slit is really high - great for walking but need to be a little careful when sitting!

I'm 5'6", 115 lbs and the XSR fit best, wore heels but didn't want the dress touching the ground. I wore it 7 hours for a disco themed fundraiser and it gave all the glamour and longevity I wanted. It lasted through dancing, announcing, stairs, and takedown like I was wearing regular clothes. I wore tape in the front and lower sides just in case and never thought about it again. I shared with several where the dress came from because they complimented it and they were surprised (in a good way) about the cost and how easy it was to receive and send it back. Will definitely look here again for our next theme!

This dress was awesome, if not a little overkill for a work holiday party. Definitely used an entire roll of Gorilla Tape to avoid using any sort of bra (couldn't find Gaffer Tape), so that took a little while to figure out. Enjoyed it!
