I wore this to my law school's prom (Barrister's Ball) at the end of March. I ordered an XSR and SR, but the XSR suddenly became unavailable on the day I needed it. The dress does run a bit large (I had a bit of gapping under the arms and it was a bit too long), so the XSR would've been better. Fortunately, the straps on this dress are adjustable and I wore 4-5in heels, so I was able to make the SR work! The dress is so silky soft and has a lot of movement. It looks absolutely amazing on and I felt so beautiful. The picture does it no justice. I got tons of compliments all night!

Runs large..both the small and the medium fit but the small looked better because it was less material. Only downfall was in some pictures the dress made me look bigger than I actually am. Great dress overall though, and very comfortable!

This dress can be worn in a gazillion ways. My size was unavailable for my date, so I took a crazy chance and requested a LONG (I'm 5'2"). I figured I could belt it if I needed to, and I did. If you are a fan of maxis like I am, you will feel like a princess in this dress. If you're not used to lots of fabric, it might be a tad overwhelming. It is flowy and lovely and the print is stunning. During the day for a baby shower, I wore no belt, but high black stilettos and the same boyfriend blazer pictured. For a beach party later that evening, I did end up belting it (as shown), so I could dress it down and wear my Converse, lol. Massive compliments both ways. Sad to have to return it!

This dress was perfect for a black tie summer wedding. It was so comfortable and flowy and it was so different from all the other gowns. I wore the xsLong with 2" black heels which dressed it up a bit. more. Overall, besides the couple of snags in the dress when I received it (couldn't notice), I love this dress and will use RTR again!

I'm 5'9" and usually wear a 0/2 in a dress. I rented the SR, but was concerned about the length. I wore flats and the dress was the perfect length. It was very comfortable and flowy and received many compliments.

Loved loved this dress - got TONS of compliments. I could wear the XSL or the SL - went w/ the smaller size because it was a little less material. Would size down for your back up. I'm a little over 5'9 and had a 2inch heel and the length as perfect. The dress is super flowy and comfortable, not too low cut in the front - just perfect! Works great w/ minimal jewelry or a pop of color.

This dress was amazing! I was concerned that it would be too dressy for an outdoor, on-the-lawn wedding; but by wearing jeweled flat sandals and minimal jewelry I was able to strike the perfect balance. I neither felt too dressy nor too casual and garnered many compliments throughout the evening! Because the wedding and reception were on uneven ground I went with flats instead of heels and this combined with the length of the dress meant I stepped on the inside back hem quite a bit but other than that it was the perfect dress for the perfect wedding.

Dress runs slightly long for petite frame so you will have to wear with high wedge platforms

At first the dress felt like a tent.. It has a LOT more fabric than the photos let on. I felt lost inside of the dress when I first tried it on, but loved it after I paired it with a belt. If you want something that fits long and comfortably (and something that flows out beautifully when you dance) this is a good bet!

The pattern on this dress is absolutely stunning! I wore this to brunch while on vacation with my family and it was so comfortable I ended up wearing it on the plane ride home! I had to belt the dress because otherwise it would've looked like a big sack on me. The only think I didn't like was the extra panels of fabric on the sides of the dress. While it looks beautiful fanned out in pictures, I had to use the belt to sort of hide the panels behind me because belted it bunched up and made me look heavier than I am. Length wise, the Long was a little too long to wear with sandals (I had to hold it up while walking). If you wanted to make this a dressier option (which you can because of the fabric) and add heels, the Long would be perfect for my height. In sandals I would opt for the Regular length! Overall I really loved this dress and got numerous compliments from people I didn't even know!

the dress is flowing, but because I am curvy, I decided to cinch at the waist to accentuate. Otherwise I looked like I was 300lbs.

This dress is lovely but has zero shape. I was going to return it but decided to wear it with a belt instead. The dress is basically two squares of fabric joined by spaghetti straps. I probably should have known better than to rent this dress for my small and curvy figure but I just loved the graphic print juxtaposed with the floaty silhouette. Tall and thin types will likely give this 5 stars but smaller types will need to be very creative when styling this dress to avoid looking shapeless.

The dress looks a lot more psychedelic in the picture (which I caught in the mirror at the venue as I was moving around), but overalls has a more static look on real life. And the reviews are right - it's huge. The recommendations for getting the long lengths did not work for me - it's too long, even with three inch heels. I ordered large and medium, both long, but probably the medium regular or maybe even small would have worked. A high waisted belt would help. I felt like I was drowning in the dress - like it was a maternity dress. Wouldn't order again.

After reading the reviews I went a size smaller for my second size, glad I did as the small even looked large on me and was unflattering. I nearly bought another dress but decided to go with this dress anyway. With a belt to define the waste line and the right accessories the dress can look very flattering... It seemed it would be perfect after all until while being spun around on the dance floor the dress strap snapped off. ( I had shoulder straps loosened for lower back line ). Luckily a safety pin did the trick. While I was highly complimented I was continuously cautious of abundance moves that may further ruin the dress

Super great dress for summer bbqs and parties! No issues at all!

Wore to a pre wedding event. There was a strong wind so the dress was swirling around me like I was Elsa from Frozen. I had to get it last minute since the other one I wanted didn't get to me on time so all they had was LL which was too long and too large, but I think even a MR might not have been too form fitting so if you want something that hugs your curves look elsewhere. But I got a lot of compliments so hooray me!

I am 5 months pregnant and this dress was so flattering and comfortable. I wore with a belt, which I think also really helps this dress to be even more flattering. I ordered the small long and medium regular. The small arrived with the strap completely ripped off, so I had to go with the medium. Thankfully, this worked fine, but the dress does run long so be prepared with high heels! I would get this dress again. I loved it!

I've had my eye on this dress for a while and was thrilled to get it. IT is a LOT of dress and you feel like you are wearing a very chic tent. I wish i sized down and i don't know if i needed the Long size even though i'm 5'10". Loved that it had adjustable straps. It is a dress for girls - tons of compliments, but guys i don't think loved it. I wore it on a beach vacation. Great for a casual night, but dancing would be hard with so much material. People did step on the end of it from time to time. Also there was a tear in the fabric, but it was the underside of a part that was draped.

So many flowing layers in this dress! Felt very beautiful- and very modern. Layers of fabric would flow out from under me when there was breeze/ walked.

The length was perfect with 3 inch heals. Extra fabric on sides would have been too much not pregnant. As others have said a belt or wind is needed to give shape.

This was such an awesome and comfortable dress. I wish I'd ordered the SL. I had to forgo my 3 1/2 inch heels and wear flat sandals so it would be floor length.

The fit was great, plenty of room to move and dance. There was a large amount of fabric that comes out of the sides that makes your hips look larger than normal.

As other reviewers have said, the dress runs large. I also decided to belt the dress because without it, it felt very shapeless. Being 6'2", I know renting any long dress is a gamble, so in a perfect world the dress would have been a few inches longer. Also, the dress arrived to me with a rip in the side. I wore it anyway because to be honest, I didn't even notice until I had already left the house (bummer). Overall, I thought it was a comfy dress to wear around the city, but I wouldn't rent it again.

I did not end up wearing this dress because it was far too large and too many ruffles at waist that made it hard to belt. I think this dress may have been better for a casual backyard wedding in the summer where I could wear flats.

Wanted to love this but ended up sending it back. Ordered the SR and fit amazing but the length is waaaaaay too long. Even with 4 inch heels. Short girls beware!!

unfortunately i was totally unable to wear this :( the small was giant on me (i ordered small and med) . i never imagined i was an xs. i didn't take a picture because it would not have done the dress justice- it was amazing and gorgeous- just wish i was able to use it. sigh.

I'm really petite and it fit great up top but there was extra fabric (kinda like wings) right by the hips that rendered the dress not flattering. Sent it right back!

Rented for a "beach chic" evening event, this dress looked like it would fit the dress code perfectly. Flowing elegant maxi dress with a slight edge... check, check, and check. And it would have been perfect... If I were seven months pregnant or playing the roll of curtains in an intense game of hide and seek. I should have listened to the other reviews. There is just simply too much fabric to this dress. It is overwhelming. Photos from other reviews show the dress, your silhouette (and your pride) can be saved by belting the dress. Rent at your own risk. This will make you look like a house. Upside? This dress is ridiculously comfortable. I imagine I would try to rent it again if I decide to enter the world of competitive eating. Because, you know, I'd like to keep it classy.

I got this dress to give my baby bump some room. However, it was too tight in the chest and I ended up not being able to wear it. Plus, when I tried it on, the rest of the gown was so voluminous and had extra material on the sides that I looked like a sting ray.

I had fun wearing this dress. I wore it to a beach party and loved how the skirt blew in the wind all evening. The pattern was a lot of fun without being too wild. There were extra panels of fabric along the hips, but I don't think it added any unwanted volume. The straps on the dress are adjustable and they needed to be adjusted to the maximum, which brought the seam up the cup (which was hard to notice) up past the bottom of my bust. If it was left as suggested, my bra would have been totally exposed. Will rent again!
