The original dresses selected kept not working out. I contacted a stylist at RTR who quickly was able to send options and ultimately helped me select this gown. This gorgeous dress has very soft material but is somewhat heavy on the bottom-which I truly believe is a plus because the gown stays in place. Being 5'9 I am always concerned with length of gowns and this was perfect! In this gown I was able to wear a regular bra with the lines of the gown. Perfect for a very formal occasion. Can't wait to wear again!!

Gorgeous dress! Very little stretch to the material, but it ran true to size so it wasn't an issue. Thick material, the color photographs and looks soft pink.

I chose this dress as a replacement for my original rental that was ruined. RTR customer service was awesome to work with and this dress was a gorgeous alternative. This dress hugs your body and flairs out at the bottom in an elegant way - it's not as big and bulbous as the model's picture looks! It's lined and well-made and does a very good job at hiding any little bumps in the wrong places. I could not wear a bra with this dress as it is very tight in the chest. There is no give at all, so for bustier girls I would size up. Fortunately I could get the zipper up and everything stayed where it was all night! The dress is a beautiful blush pink. I paired it with black and gold accessories, and gold shoes. The dress is a little short, even in the long size, so I don't recommend wearing sky-high heels. I wore kitten heels and it was about half an inch off the floor. I would definitely rent this again! It was very fun to dance in!

I am 5'2" and wore 4 inch heels and the dress only touched the floor. I would recommend wearing a bra with the dress because I felt like the dress was big in the bust area. Wear big jewelry. I also want to thank the other women who posted about this dress because they helped me pick the perfect dress for my senior prom.

This was a tiny bit tight in the bust but other wise a perfect fit. It was comfortable and manageable for a long evening. I wore a pair of 2.5 inch shoes and the dress barely dragged on the floor. So many people complimented about the color and how beautiful the dress was. I loved it.

Absolutely loved this dress. The fit was perfect. Tight enough to hold you in, no spanx or bra required, but not too tight to be uncomfortable. It was still a bit long on me (I'm 5'1) event with 3" heels. I added the belt just to add some color but could be worn without. I wish I owned this gorgeous dress!

The dress fit like a glove! I absolutely loved the style and color of this dress as well. My only complaint was that it took me awhile to get all the wrinkles out when I went to steam it. Other than that, it was absolutely fabulous!

If I could keep this dress, I would - absolutely loved it. Wore it to a formal, black tie event, and it was perfect for the very dressy occasion. I was initially concerned about the fit...that it might be too snug in the hip/midsection area and/or unflattering. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually incredibly flattering and really hugged my curves in all the right places. I do caution potential wearers that it is a really heavy dress and one that isn't all that comfortable to sit in...so if you plan to do a ton of moving around and dancing, be prepared to deal with a large, heavy gown. Sad to see it go, would rent again in a heartbeat!!

I loved my dress! It made me feel beautiful and absolutely gorgeous! Everyone commented on how unique and elegant it was. It stood out from all the sparkles and glitters of Prom. Recommended it for anyone with an hourglass figure. Although if you are taller then 5'5 go with your size in long!

I rented this dress for my boyfriend's senior prom. I wanted something classy and that's just what I got. I ordered the dress in a size 0 and 2. Both fit about the same but I went with the 2 because of length. I am five foot four and it touched the floor without shoes, and was just a little lifted off the floor with heels on. If you are over five foot five I would not recommend this dress to you. The material is heavy but it is so comfortable and you don't even notice the weight. The dress is form fitting and very flattering. The bust area is a little snug so if your bust size is big I wouldn't recommend this dress to you. My bust size is small and the dress was very flattering to them. I loved this dress so much. I recommend it to smaller and shorter girls because of the fit and length.

I wore this to my law school's Barrister's Ball. I felt so glamorous and beautiful. I wanted to look like a Disney Princess and I really did. I'm about 5'4", 120 lbs, and a 32D. I wore a 4R and the fit was perfect. I loved the thick, heavy material and the fullness of the bottom of the dress best! I definitely did not want to return this dress. :)

This was a replacement dress suggested by my second stylist, when my first two and the backup automatically sent didn't work out (it's okay, some girl was wearing the one I really wanted). The pictures don't really do it justice. The fit was amazing on my curvier top and bottom, and I loved the trumpet skirt. It is kind of plain, but classic, and easily accessorized. The material was heavy and high quality. It was a great length with 3 inch heels on my 5'4 frame, perfect for dancing!

I normally wear a 4 and I ended up wearing the 2l. It was still a bit loose around the waist and bust. I got complimented on it all night regardless and it was a beautiful dress

The dress is very light, pastel pink. I'm 113 lb, 5'1" and athletic. I wear between 0-3. The length for this was perfect with 5 inch heels. I had a backup size 2 and the bust was significantly bigger and a longer length that would have been impossible for me to wear. The size zero ran big in the bust (I'm a B cup, mom as well lol) and in the midsection area. It wasn't too heavy. I agree with the picture; the dress needs statement jewelry. It's a gorgeous dress but I think it might've been too plain for my taste. Overall, runs big, long, and need a good bust size for it to work.

I didn't order the petite and the dress just pooled at my feet. I was so bummed because the bodice fit so beautifully! I'm 5'2".

I seem to have a problem with things being too tight in the ribcage, so although I am typically a size 6 (including in Halston Heritage), and this fit in the hips in 6, but not the ribcage. So glad I ordered the 8 as the backup. I loved this for a formal summer event. The flow of the fabric is lovely.

This dress was so gorgeous. I had to go with the 4 because the chest was tight and the length was really short . I am 5'6" and ended up wearing clear flats because I couldn't afford any height with the length of the dress. Fabric is extremely thick and has no "give" at all. The color is so pretty. My husband said I looked like a princess. :-)

Dress looked amazing! A little short though. At 5'6" even with a low heel it was about 2 inches off the ground. If you have a large chest, go a size up for sure. The 4 fit perfectly except for in the chest, so I went with the 6. Color looks beautiful and I got a ton of compliments!! The fit around the waist really accentuates your figure. I wore this for a black tie wedding in key west. It was a little hot but you would probably be hot in anything in key west. Overall, I loved it! And the fabric is amazing! Looks great in pictures!

I rented this dress for an awards ceremony and fell in love with the color and silhouette. When I first tried it on, I wasn't sure it was going to work. If you are a small chested lady like me, you are going to need a majorly padded bra. I don't know if the dress had been stretched out or if that was the cut, but it was gappy up top. It fit perfectly in the hips (though you will want to rock some spanx!). I'm glad I stuck it out because I got so many compliments and felt amazing in it, and my overall RTR experience was fabulous.

Luckily I ordered two possibilities for this event. I loved this dress as it reminded me of the pink RL that Gwyneth Paltrow wore to the Oscars. And I felt it was something "different" in terms of color for the formal event. BUT it was too long. I am 5'3" and even with my highest heels it was still too long. I ended up wearing a different dress from RTR.

This dress is so unimpressive in person but takes a good picture. The pink is drab, to make things worse the one I received was dirty. It had a stain and felt oily from so many people wearing it, also it was extremely wrinkled. As my first RTR experience I am iffy if I will try again but I need a dress for my event... The fit is true to size, however I am 5'6" and it hit the floor like a pant leg, so get a long if you want to wear heels.

Rent the runway customer service is second to none I had to go through three dresses before I found the perfect one for a palm beach wedding at the Everglades. The original dress I ordered was not a great ft, then I ordered two dresses that were too warm for the occasion and didn't fit right so it was back to the drawing board. By this time it was October 9 and my event was October 10 rent the runway was able to deliver my dress to the hotel by 12 o'clock so I was ready for the event. The dress was perfect in every way and I felt like a princess even though the bride's made of honor had the exact same dress the way we accessorized and our body type made it look totally different. Another great experience with rent the runway

I really felt the back was very tight while other areas were too large on the 8R. I am very much always a 6R but this dress in a 6 was way too short and the back was super tight. I am muscular but have never had a problem, make sure to get a size up in this one!

Dress was true to size and hugged in the right areas! Not too snug to be uncomfortable but highlights your curves nicely. Went with the 4L because I wore 4 inch heels and the length ended up being perfect.

Runs small around the chest area. The clasp in the back of my dress was a little busted. Probably from being worn a lot. I can figure out a way to fix that.

I felt beautiful in this dress. It looks better in person than in the photos. It was too short though. I ended up wearing flats because I wanted it to touch the floor. Also, it seemed as if the dress had been dry cleaned too many times and shrunk the fabric, thus pulling up the lining to be seen at the bottom of the dress. I was hoping it was just the dress I received so I ordered a replacement (as usual, RTR has great customer service). But the replacement had the same problem, just not as significantly. And the dress required serious ironing on delivery.

It fit nicely. I am breastfeeding and therefore wearing a size 34H bra. The 8 fit my chest although it was snug. It also fit by belly area, which still looks like I am 4 months pregnant. I was pleased with the dress although I did wear Spanx. I was about 140 lbs at 5'5 when I wore this dress.

I love this dress but ended up not wearing it in favor of the other dress I had ordered (it made me feel like a mermaid, what can I say?) This dress is gorgeous though! I love the color and the skirt is so fun, but it was a bit tight around my chest/rib cage. Everywhere else fit fine, though. Definitely shows off an hourglass figure well! I wish I could have kept it so I could wear it to another event because I really felt beautiful in it, but I'll just have to order it again when I want to feel like a princess and not a mermaid.

When my husband and I first got engaged, I began dreaming of an engagement shoot in New York City--the city where we met and fell in love. I knew I wanted to wear a gown and this dress was perfect for the gorgeous spring day. I can't imagine a better dress. At only 5'1'', it can be difficult for me to wear long dresses unaltered, but the length on this gown actually fit nicely--with my 4" heels! The overall shape was slimming and beautiful. My only complaint is that it runs small in the bust/rib cage. Going up a size helped (glad I ordered the back-up in a larger size), but definitely watch out for that if you are bustier on top!

The dress fit me almost perfectly- it was a touch shorter than I'd hoped but the 2R wasn't longer so I went with what fit my body better. It is fairly heavy so I'd caution on wearing to anything outdoor in warm weather.

the 6 was way too loose, and the 4 was on the verge of being too tight. no bra needed, ultra supportive and sucks you in.

The silhouette on this dress is lovely - it is fitted in the bodice and flares beautifully in a bell shape. It will really showcase someone with a long and lean figure, although a bit of a push up bra can help fill out the shape. Make sure you get the right length. My feeling was that the long ran a bit long, but perfect with a pair of higher heels. It's a simple dress but the cut and color make an entrance. It is as pink as it looks in the photo. Definitely a classic. Pair it wait some dazzling jewels and it is unforgettable.
