This was the perfect pick my cousins Black and White themed Bat Mitzvah. Its very rare I get to wear white to a formal event, so I was excited for this pick. I got so many compliments on it! It does run big, so I did go down a size. The 10 looked "frumpy" according to my boyfriend. The 8 was a little tight around my hips, but all in all it fit great! The back is absolutely beautiful. I was able to war a regular black bra and you couldnt even tell!! I am tall, and I was afraid it may be too short, but was not the case at all. 5 stars for this hot number

This dress was perfect for the Black and White Formal I attended with my boyfriend. It was perfect for dancing and was the right length to not have to worry about it ridding up.

I wore this dress for my rehearsal dinner and just loved it. It's definitely more grey than white but fits great and the back is stunning. I wore a regular black bra too and you couldn't even see it. Would definitely rent again.

Pros: Amazing back, super flattering and comfortable. Cons: Lines under the dress are very visible. Even the sticky from VS showed through. I didn't wear a bra, which was fine, but the flower pasties were VERY visible so I had to use clear tape.

This dress was sent to me because the original dress I ordered suddenly became unavailable. I was skeptical because of the shape but as soon as I put it on I knew. It was very flattering in the front and the lace back was sexy but not too revealing. I wore a NuBra and felt the dress fit true to size, maybe slightly large. As usual top notch customer service from RTR. I will definitely rent this dress again.

I wore this dress for my bachelorette party in Newport. The dress was great and I loved the back. The dress does run big as some other reviews mentioned. I ended wearing a size down from my normal size. I ended up renting a big statement necklace to make the front a little more dressed up!

It's not super white, more of a grey so it was fine for a wedding. The smaller size fit great and it was comfy all night. This was my first rental and I can't wait to order again!

This dress runs true to size. I thought I would have to go up a size to the 10, but the 8 was the perfect fit. I paired the dress with pearls but to add an extra flair to the front, I suggest a chunky statement necklace. The fabric is thick cotton, so it is breathable. I was also able to wear a bra and shaper with it (black of course). I loved the dress. Sophistication and class while still feeling sexy and young! This was my first time using RTR and it was an amazing experience.

I felt like a million bucks in this dress and received complements all night long. I ordered a size 0 and size 2. I ended up wearing the size 2 even though the size 0 fit okay (just too short for dancing and a little tight in the arms). I wore black peep toe heels and accessorized with silver/diamond earrings and bracelet. Loved this dress!

This dress runs very large! I'm usually a 10. I wore the 8, but could have probably used a 6 because it was still roomy in the middle! The dress was great! I wore it for my birthday and everyone loved it! I loved the back of it!

This dress was absolutely amazing for this black tie wedding in Boca Raton. The front is very simple, but looked a tad big- maybe because I have a small chest, but the back was gorgeous. The dress was not as fitted as the model, but it still looked elegant. Both sizes 6 and 8 fit, but the front of the 6 looked more fitting than the front of the 8. The length was perfect for me as well, it looks a little short on the model but it ended up being a couple inches about my knee. I danced the night away comfortably in the dress. The only thing I was worried about was making sure not to get it ruined because it is white as snow. Definitely worth renting for your next affair!

The dress was amazingly gorgeous and the picture online is perfect in showing how it hangs and the back detailing. It was a little large, so I would have loved to have tried the 4 or brought a belt! The back was delicious and I got too many comments to count. I paired with a Kate Spade purse and dangle earrings that featured chrome, black and dark gray gems. Heals helped make it less saggy for me because it added some height. It was very comfortable and easy to wear. The material is delicate so I would suggest watching the type of bra you wear. I wore a lace bralette from VS which helped make it less noticeable in the back but outlines showed in the front. Nothing major to worry about, but just a heads up! All in all, this was a fabulous dress and I loved the simplicity of the front and intricate details of the back. Great for a rehearsal dinner or a wedding.

Rented this for my birthday party and, after a few tweaks, it made for a perfect party dress! The dress was way too long on me - I think it came down just below my knees. With the boxy fit of the dress it definitely wasn't very flattering! But with the help of some double-sided fashion tape, I "fake-hemmed" the dress a good 3-4" so that it hit more mid-thigh. FYI: The sizing is very off from the other brands that RTR normally carries, or maybe it's supposed to have a boxier cut, I'm not sure. Regardless, I would say this dress seems to be measured more along the US vanity sizing that we see in stores like Express and Banana Republic (where I could fit into a size 4 when I'm normally an 8). I rented a 6 & 8 and wore the 6, but I probably would've liked the 4 better.

This dress definitely runs big. I ordered a 10 and an 8 and I'm glad I had the 8. The 10 looked like a sack. Even though it's a loose fitting shift dress, I did wear spanx underneath because the front is plain. Everyone loved the dramatic back. Being tall, I had to be careful about raising my arms when dancing because the entire dress moves up with them as opposed to a dress without sleeves. Paired with a bold red lip and classic black heels

I rented this dress along with the necklace for a cocktail event. I typically wear a size 4 but ordered a 2 and a 0 after reading the initial reviews. I absolutely loved it. I gave it 4 stars because I do wish it had a little more shape in the waist area (you can't really belt it), but I have never been asked to stop or turn around so much in one night! I thought the length was appropriately classy and the lace both delicate and bold. I recommend this dress!

This is an adorable dress, and genuinely has the most gorgeous back of anything I've ever worn. It was a little snug on my hips, which made the top not fit exactly as I'd like... hence 4 stars instead of 5. I'm surprised to hear people say it runs large because there's no way I could squeeze into that size 2. I felt it was a great length (not too bad for the tall girls, but it will make you a little leggy!) and I wore my strapless black bra with it and it was perfect! I wore this to a benefit for Alz where everyone wears white, and I was SO AFRAID there would be multiples of this dress, but thankfully I was the only one :) It wasn't perfect, but it was a great dress & I'm glad I rented it!

The dress was very true to size. It ran a little small in the hip/butt area. But otherwise loved how it fit! The dress is pretty thick so if you really start to pull out the dance moves, it can make you sweat. But, I loved wearing it!

I'm a fan of shift type dresses, especially when I can pair them with ankle boots and a casual jacket. The dress was a little long for my taste, but the back makes up for it!

I liked this dress! I was surprised that I liked it much better from the front than the back. The back is fairly baggy until it hits the booty.

I rented this dress for the premiere of a clients film and it was perfect. I do have to say that the fit is not like the model in the photos as it looks very short and fitted on her. I'm 5'7" and it came to my knees and the fit is definitely a sheath and not a fitted figure hugging dress, which was perfect for the event but not what I though based on the photos. I'm normally a 6 but got the 8 as a back up as I have big hips and was worried that it may be tight. It wasnt. The 6 felt very loose (I now see its just the fit) so RTR overnighted me the 4 (love them) but that one was a little snug in the hips but not so much I couldnt have worn it. I felt in between sizes but went with the 6 to be comfortable. From the front this is such a classic, simple, gorgeous sheath and then the back is such an unexpected beautiful surprise. I paired it with my own neon yellow pumps and matching earrings from RTR. It was perfect and I got compliments all night. All 3 sizes still had the tags on so I know I was the first to try this gorgeous dress and couldn't have been happier. Love RTR!

Beautiful and classy dress. The back is fabulous, but the fit is strange. Very big on top and much tighter on the bottom. 6 fit better on the bottom but top was huge. Still glad I wore it, I felt great in it!

I rented a 2 and a 4, there weren't many reviews when I was renting it so I just went with my typical sizes because I love the photos. I rented this for a grad school gala, formal attire with a midsummer nights dream theme. I didn't want to go long and I wanted something a little more edgy and cool so this was perfect. When I tried the 2 and 4 on I was so upset because it's not as fitted and short as it was on the model, it looked matronly and baggy on me (esp the 4 - it was huge)! Given that I had a day to turn this around I decided I had to just "Make it Work" a la Tim Gunn - I fake-hemmed the dress to the length on the model and accessorized! A sparkly necklace, earcuff, statement shoes and red lip are what helped bring this dress from a "meh" to a "Wow". I don't recommend the dress to anyone who wants to throw a dress on and go, this is one that requires some thought to create a look around. Ultimately, I was happy with it - It was a comfortable, t-shirt fit so I could be free to dance and eat. Plus, I got compliments all night and people loved the sexy peekaboo back!

We were doing a black and white theme for our engagement photos. And this dress was perfect. Love the surprise back. I wore a black gem beaded necklace to dress up the front. But great dress. Not too short and comfortable. It's true to size.

I don't know how I made it all night without pictures because the dress was simply stunning. I received rave reviews at the party. The shape was the right amount of fitted to make me feel comfortable and confident. My favorite was talking to people, making my exit, and then having them chase me down to say "Wow!" when they saw the back. I will 100% rent this dress again...maybe that's the good part of missing photographs this time around :)

The fit was good. True to size

I wore this dress for New Year's Eve (2015/2016). This dress definitely runs very large - I'm extremely glad I saw that mentioned in another review because otherwise I think the dress would have been unwearable. I would even suggest going 2 sizes down, at least for your back-up size, if you are short. As it was, I went with one size down (6) for my order size and then one more size down for my back-up (4); I ended up wearing the back-up 4, but I think a 2 would have been a better fit. Overall, the fit was just okay on my curvy 5'3" frame. The length was definitely way too long. While the lace back is sexy, from the front, the hemline made the dress look almost matronly. I had to "hem" it with safety pins to make the length acceptable to me. (This did not work out that well; it was extremely short whenever I sat down.) I wore it with a very large, long necklace in the front to play it up, and I wore thigh high leather boots with bare legs below. I would probably not recommend this for petite women, but on a taller frame at the right size, perhaps it would be a very lovely dress. In my experience, this rental was just okay.

From the front, appears to be a beautiful, soft ivory shift with boat neck. Then party in the back! Beautiful, beautiful lace back that adds some spiciness.

Wore this to my engagement party. Runs very large, The 2 was too large, but the 0 was just right. Keep in mind, I do not wear a 0 in anything. It still fit like a shift dress, not fitted to the body or anything. Got lots of compliments.

I ordered both the 6 and 8, given the cut of the dress; a sheath style rarely works for busty woman who have been gifted with smaller waistlines.. More often than not, the boxy silhouette creates an unflattering look; making a woman appear heavier (in my case: pregnant) than she truly is. On occasion, sizing down helps, hence having given it a shot. Unfortunately, gorgeous as this dress is (especially the detail on the back for which the photo does no justice) the style was no different for me. This design is geared more toward women with more going on in the lower-back, than the upper-front, and something very toned and tight in the middle.

This dress is perfect for someone who carries a little weight around the middle (like me!) but it is still so flattering and hot - b/c it's short enough to get attention w/ the right shoes AND the back is just to-die-for. I wore this to a friend's rehearsal dinner, and b/c it was a destination wedding and I was on a tight time-frame, I actually wore it to the airport, on the plane, and straight to the party. I got stopped multiple times in the airport and over the course of the night (people complimenting me on the dress). It's not too sexy (and I wore lower nude sandals/wedges while traveling) and even over the course of those several hours, it traveled great - no wrinkles even after sitting on a plane for an hour.

This dress was perfect! I got almost as many compliments as the bride. The 4 was a little tight but the 6 fit perfectly. It was the perfect length for a sit-down dinner and I was able to dance with out giving a "show." I absolutely love love LOVE this dress and wouldn't hesitate to wear it again!
