I tried on both S and XS - this does run small, especially for flat chested women like myself. I'm tall and slim but usually wear smalls or size 3 but XS was perfect and I didn't wear a bra with it! Very comfortable and great color- more blue then what the picture showed but I loved it. Great for an outdoor summer wedding. I wore gold jewlery and nude heels.

Wore too a wedding. I am 5'4" wage dress was very long despite 4" heels. Had to use tape to create a hem. Worked out fine. So comfortable. Very class and elegant.

This dress fit me perfectly. It wasn't tight or restrictive (the occasion consisted of a sit down dinner and dancing). It also didn't slip anywhere so I didn't find myself having to adjust the dress during the night. The color is beautiful and looked great with my fair skin. The long length perfectly graced the floor so that I didn't have to lift it at all to walk and wasn't too short or reveal my shoes. Note I'm 5'10' and I wore 1'1/2" heels. I found I was able to wear a strapless bra with a halter strap and it was not visible at all. I feel this dress looks best on C cups or less because the pretty pleating at the bust looked great. The material of the dress was also forgiving. I added some long sparkly earrings (not visible in this photo) to complete the look.

I wore this dress for my best friends wedding reception. It was super comfortable, the fabric is great. I also liked the length of the dress, because at 5'10", it is often hard to find things the right length. This dress was actually a back up sent by RTR because a dress I ordered was returned in bad shape. So happy with their choice for me!!! Ended up choosing this over my original dress choice :)

Absolutely amazing dress! Very high quality jersey that was comfortable and figure hugging. Received tons of compliments and couldn't take enough pictures of myself in it! I lost a lot of weight and was excited to show it off in this dress! Highly recommend!

The dress fit great! It was just slightly long but I think the regular size would have been too long. I received loads of compliments on the dress!

I wore this dress to a summer wedding at a nice hotel. I didn't order an extra size and literally tried it on the day of the wedding. It fit perfectly and was extremely comfortable. I went for a smaller size since I assumed the bottom would be forgiving, which is was. Another plus - you don't necessarily need a bra with this dress if you're small busted like me.

Fit well and the ruching was very flattering. It wasn't too long for me which I was worried about since I'm only 5'2". I really liked it overall and would definitely recommend it. The only con was that the halter was a tad stretched out and at times my strapless bra would show a bit.

The dress was amazing, and I am a HARSH critic. I ordered 2 sizes and both fit and could have been worn. The quality of the dress was fantastic. I wore a Spanx, but I could have gotten away without it. I ordered a small and extra-small, but figured I would wear the small. I think the dress runs large, but I also have a small bust (34B), and am thinner on top than bottom:) I ended up wearing the x-small... I would strongly recommend the dress. The process is easy and now I don't have to store a dress that I will never wear again! :)

I wear a size 12 to 14 usually, so i ordered the large and the extra large. The large fit very nicely, just a tny bit snug, but in a good way. In 6' tall, so ordering the long size was a must. The dress was a smidge short with 2" heels (i could see most of the front of my foot instead of just my toes), but it didnt look bad. If I had worn the extra large size I would have had a bit more length. I used invisible bra "stickers" but you could probably use a bra with a halter neck and a low back like some of the convertible bras I've seen. I received a lot of compliments on the dress and the beautiful royal blue color, the dress was definitely a win.

I wore this to a black tie wedding and I loved it! I usually wear a size 2 or 4 and the small was perfect - not too tight, plus it was plenty long enough even with heels! The dress is super comfortable and I got lots of compliments - especially about the color (it's like a blueberry shade). Highly recommend it!

Dress runs long but it for really well elsewhere - especially in the bust which I was nervous about. Loved the dress!!!

This dress was sent to me as an extra style after a small mishap with one of the original dresses I ordered. I guess I'm lucky that the mishap happened because this dress was perfect! I wore it to my senior prom and it was fantastic! Since it is a halter, I didn't have to keep yanking it up all night like I might have had to if I had worn a strapless dress. The fabric was sturdy so I didn't have to worry about snags, but at the same time it was very easy to wear and not too heavy. The color is gorgeous and the braiding by the v is very flattering. I'm 5'3" and I wore 5" heels, but even when I took them off, the amount of fabric on the floor wasn't too bad. I found that it needed a belt as it was a little plain for the event, but other than that it was perfect! I truly didn't have to worry about a thing all night! The color is deeper, almost a royal blue not like the purple that appears in the RTR pics. So the MR was a tad long with 4"heels. I definitely used fashion tape to make sure I didn't have anyone looking down my dress if I leaned over. Have a large chest can be tricky when finding a dress that looks sexy but classy. I thought this dress did both. It was very flattering and I received a lot of compliments.

RTR was the best; this dress was originally my backup, but I liked it so much that I decided to go with it. Both the S and XS fit me perfectly, and I was one of the lucky few who managed to be comfortable and classy at prom:) I wore the dress with 3 in heels, and the hem was perfect. I'd recommend it!

LOVED this dress for my sorority's formal!! So simple and classy, but the V-neck adds the little bit of sexiness that I wanted, without being too low. I did use sticky boobs and taped my chest to add a little more cleavage though. The braiding in the dress really accentuates your waist. The color is more of a deep royal blue with a purple tint to it, even though it looks purely blue in the pictures. Definitely deeper and more blue than the model's picture makes it appear, but still a gorgeous color. I'm 5'8" and wore 3" heels, and could have even worn an extra inch if I had wanted to. Super comfy, super flattering, simply gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it.

I rented this dress for the Navy Submarine Ball at Foxwoods. It was a beautiful color and looked great on my oh so pale skin. It was very comfortable and the fabric is pretty thick so it was a little heavy. I rented the medium regular and long and ended up wearing the regular with gold 3-4" heels. I kept the accessories simple with some earrings. Overall a great dress!

I'm pretty tall and even thought the small long was a better fit I ended up wearing the medium long. The small was too short for heels but the medium was perfect and I wore 3" heels. The color is slightly more purple than how it looks in the model photo but it's still a very beautiful blueish-purple. I was very comfortable. I decided not to wear a bra (benefits of a small bust!) but you could wear a strapless bra if you needed to.

This dress was very comfortable and fit very well! I am 5'10'' so the length was perfect. Keep in mind in this picture, I was wearing flats. The back of the dress was a tiny baggy, but nothing too noticeable. All in all, it was a fun dress that wasn't constricting and was flattering in all the right places.

I rented this as a backup; I hated my first choice, and this one fit me so comfortably, with room to breathe and for heels on my tall frame. Flattering to my small-ish bust (I didn't wear a bra) and made clean smooth lines along my waist and back. Wish I hadn't bothered with the first dress!

Good length. Possibly stretched, but definitely larger than size. I might have even gotten away with wearing it in XS. Color was vibrant and made me stand out in a pleasing way. I'm very happy with how this dress fit and felt.

Typically I am a size 8 but the M was too big so if anything, I would size down with this dress. The only minor problem was that because the fabric is stretchy, the back of the dress just above the waist stuck out/wrinkled a bit. This seemed to settle down over the course of the night. I was also able to wear the dress with no bra, which just makes everything easier. I wore small (2.5in) heels and the regular length was technically a little short but I found it easier to walk around and dance without it touching the floor. I rented jewelry too, because as others have noted, the material is not super fancy so you need something to jazz it up. The jewelry was just the trick. This was my first RTR rental and I have already placed my second order! You won't be disappointed.

This dress was great! It was cut perfectly to show off shoulders. Wasn't too deep of a V-neck which was great for a wedding. The dress itself was a nice, stretchy fabric that wasn't clingy. Color was beautiful! As usual, nothing but great customer service from rent the runway who overnighted me several dress options when my original order came back damaged. Only complaint was that the neckline had a weird wrinkle in it that wouldn't lay flat on one side. It wasn't a big deal unless you were really looking for it!

This was my 1st rental with RTR and I am so impressed! The dress came very nicely packaged and ready to go. The shade of blue is so vibrant and fit very comfortably as we danced the night away! Can't wait to rent again, got so many complements!

This dress was very comfortable and a great pop of color at a black tire affair. The material itself is not very elegant, so you'll need to jazz it up a bit with some sparkly jewelry. I wore the Small which was actually surprisingly long (and I wore flats!)

Got this as a back-up dress for the Moon Goddess and loved this one so much more. The small fit me perfectly, although the back of the halter was a bit stretched out and slipped down all night causing the zipper to bunch. Other than that it fit like a dream. I have a large bust (32DDD) and it kept me covered. Can wear a halter, strapless or no bra, all looked good. I wore kitten heels (maybe an inch high) and the dress hit just above the floor, no hemming necessary. Best part - the dress was so comfortable and hides a food baby!! I got so many compliments all night. Would definitely recommend!

The dress was great! A little loose in the bust but nothing a little extra padding couldn't fix. The color was gorgeous...more blue than it appears in pictures, shich was perfect since I was wearing it to a formal wedding on July 4th! The ceremony was outside on a beachside and I worried I would be warm, but the material breathes well. Very comfty to dance in all night too! And even though the dress is a little roomy in the stomach area, very flattering! AND I could eat and drink and not worry about my tummy showing! I got the XSL and wore 5 inch heels...the dress JUST hit the ground. I did hold the dress a little when I walked, but that was easy to do because of the flowy style of the skirt. All in all, the dress was great and I received many compliments on it!

The dress was a bit loose. I usually wear a 6/small, and I think this could have fit a bit tighter. Overall, a great dress. I received compliments all night long!

loved this dress! I wore it to my prom and it was awesome. The color was great and the cut and draping in the front really accentuated my bust. I don't know if the dress had gotten stretched out or if it just runs large, but it was a little loose on me even with my bust so I used fashion tape to secure it around my bust and back. Other than that, the dress was great, i could really move around in it and I didn't worry about it falling off or anything. I also wore flats and the dress was the perfect length, so maybe get the long if you're planning on wearing big heels.

I typically wear a small or medium, but the medium was unavailable so I had to go with a small. Luckily, the dress fit perfectly! I wore this to a black tie optional wedding and it definitely felt appropriate for the occasion.

This dress was perfect. I'm very blessed in the chest department so I often have a difficult time finding a dress that is sexy without being too revealing. This dress hit the mark perfectly! The material is thick enough that I didn't have to wear a bra, but I did have to wear spanx down below.

Order a size down. Usually wear a medium- ended up wearing the small!

This dress was so comfy yet elegant and dressy all at the same time. I was worried the fabric might be a bit casual but it worked out well because of the style and length. Not too dressy but not casual either. It was a perfect fit for my friend's black tie optional wedding.

Fit like a glove, no loose parts or gaps. The heavy weight of the fabric meant the dress hung and moved beautifully.

I rented this to wear to a formal event, but ended up not wearing. While this was a nice dress, it wasn't formal enough for what I wanted. Very comfortable, and I was able to wear a strapless bra without the band showing. In the photos, I'm barefoot at 5'10", and could have worn 2" heels easily, 3" heels would probably show toes. This would be a great dress to wear to a wedding or a less formal event than a military ball.
