Loved this dress! It's sculpted, sturdy, and fits extremely well. No need for a bra. It's by far one of my top favorite dresses - love this designer.

I ordered my normal size (4), and as a back up sized up (6) based on other reviews and I'm glad I did. The size 4 would have been a better length (mid-knee; I'm 5' 2"), but I couldn't get the interior zipper around my rib cage / bust. In general, the zipper was a bit tricky, and definitely requires two people. Although the size 6 fell just below my knee, it added a nice sophisticated air. The corset boning was very flatting and kept me feeling slim and secure all night. However, it did start to pinch me around the waist when dancing which was uncomfortable, but tolerable. Totally worth it in the end! I received tons of complements, and my boyf loved spinning me around the dance floor with the full skirt. Up close, the dress did look a little warn, but I doubt anyone noticed at the event!

This dress is pretty small in the bust. I didn't have a problem with that, but I could see how others might have a problem. It was longer than I expected it to be- just below my knees. But this dress was so cute and perfect, I had to wear it! Pearls go great with this dress. This was my first time renting from RTR. I picked the dress up at the store in Chicago. They let me try it on and even gave me some advice about accessories! The whole experience was seamless. I would definitely rent from RTR again.

I probably could have sized down but it wasn't available (it was a bit big up top for me as I have lost some weight and was unsure of my size). But it's so girly and sophisticated. It was also comfortable and of nice quality. The boning isn't uncomfortable at all. I had so much fun wearing it! I got compliments all morning and all the moms asked where I got it!

Great if you have smaller upper body and larger bottoms and hips.

Loved this dress! Fit great and the boning in the bodice really helped me feel like everything was "kept in place". I'm a 34C, 140lbs 5'6" and feel like wearing a bra was optional in this dress - wore a size 6 and it fit perfectly. The skirt is very full which I loved, but be advised that there is no underlayer to it, so if you're going down a flight of stairs and don't hug the skirt to your legs at all, or wear a slip, people down below may be able to see your undies. Got SO many compliments in this dress and wore it with a shrug sweater to a baby shower in the afternoon and then without the sweater to a wedding that night. Everyone kept asking me where I got it! Would highly recommend as a formal, flirty dress to anyone.

I like that the dress was fitted and I felt comfortable not wearing a bra to the event. Dress stayed in place and even put up with some heavy dancing. Being tall--I liked that it was longer and I didn't feel like I had to pull it down when I sat or kneeled down. Great for dancing and really highlights an hourglass figure. I typically wear a 6 or 8 and ended up having to get an 8--glad I did because the 6 would have been too tight (don't forget, it's basically a corset!). Would rent this dress (and this designer) again.

Fit perfect up top, and everyone raves about his good the dress looked and how small it made me look! I love the big bottom! Perfect since I am hourglass! Highly recommend this dress! It was my best RTR experience yet!

I ordered this dress one week before my sister-in-law's wedding. RTR was incredibly fast with shipment and thorough with return shipping details and materials. Overall, this experience was a win-win. The dress runs true-to-size but keep in mind that it is a corset top and is intended to squeeze you in. After reading other reviews, I decided to order a size 6 and 4 because I have a small bust. My advice: Listen to RTR and order a size up with this dress. I normally wear a size 8 and was in ego-mode thinking that I could wear a size 4 based on other reviews. I would have been much more comfortable in a size 8. But, the dress is so slimming, that I felt skinny and beautiful all night. One thing that I really loved is that I had NO back-fat! Sometimes corset-style strapless dresses push the back-fat up, but this dress is designed to accentuate only the very best features.

Fits beautifully and loved every second wearing it. It was the perfect dress for my birthday tea time at the Peninsula Hotel in LA. The dress was exactly what I was looking for. It's very feminine and puffs out at the bottom. It flared more than I expected but that was a good thing.

Wore for a holiday party - the original dress I ordered didn't work out and I got this as a last minute back up. So glad that I chose it, dress was very well made and I got tons of compliments. The only issue was the teeth in the zipper were a little messed up but that's probably because not everyone who rents takes great care of the dresses. Would absolutely purchase this dress!!!

This was my usual size and very comfortable. The bodice has good structure so you don't have to adjust all night.

I'm a 34DD/36D and I can NEVER be braless in anything-I never ever tried until this dress. Great fit/structure. Makes a nice waist for the wearer. The fabric is rich and heavy and was a bit much in the Florida heat, but once I got inside I was fine. My boss said I looked like a doll and everyone else said it was precious or that I looked like a princess. I wish to God I could keep it. It's my favorite color. I did not need to iron it or alter it in any way. It was dress and go. Great for a dressy party! I will be renting more. This was a great first try!

I wore this to my cousin's wedidng. It was absolutely beautiful! The color was very similar to the photo. It is very fitted through the waist and a bit bigger in the bust, but tape took care of any gapping. The fabric is high-quality; the dress has a very vintage feel. The bottom came down to the middle of my knees, but I wore very high heels so it didn't mess with my proportions too much, I would rent this again!

Both size 2 and 4 fit and looked the same so I wore the larger dress for comfort. Fit we'll with a strapless bra, true to size. Stiff material meant skirt stayed puffed out without steaming. Had so much fun dancing in this beautiful dress!

I wore this dress for a special date night out, Anniversary celebration. The dress was perfect! It was just what I imagined it would look like on me. For a girl who is 6 feet tall it was the perfect length. I would buy this dress .

This is a great dress for an outdoor summer event. The fabric and quality is top notch, and the skirt 'poof' is wonderful--no itchy tulle underneath! Like other reviewers have said, it has an inner corset which makes for a flattering, yet snug, fit. Being a strapless dress, I chose to size down in order to ensure a secure, dance-safe fit. It was perfect, and everything stayed in place all night long. Its such a pretty and elegant dress and just a hint sexy--I didn't want to take it off! Received many compliments throughout the night and possibly some new RTR fans!

I rented this dress for a wedding and am SO happy that I did. This dress is pretty major! I got compliment after compliment. The slit in the front added a little sexiness to the dress, but it wasn't too much. I am 5'9", and the dress came to right above my knee, so it was a great length for a wedding! The fabric is heavy and luxe and looks beautiful. But, be prepared that on a hot day, you may get a little warm. It is hard to tell from photos, but the flowers on the dress are a light ivory, not white. Overall I felt AMAZING and got SO many compliments. I usually wear a 10 in dresses, but only the 12 was available, so I went ahead and rented it because I loved the dress and because of my bust, I can get away with a 12 or a 10. The dress fits true to size, and the 12 was just fine, but I do wish I was able to have the 10. Oh well, it was amazing either way! I am pretty busty (34DDD) and I had plenty of room in the chest. Some reviewers said that the corset in the dress held things in without a bra. I think if I had rented the 10, I might have not needed a bra, but I felt more comfortable with one on. The "corset" zips up the back, so you will need help getting into the dress. The top hook is a sturdy one, and I had no issues with the zipper at all. I wore this with the Alexis Bittar Chantilly Garden Earrings and Kendra Scott Crackled Gold Bangle Set. The mint in the earrings was a great contrast! You will NOT regret wearing this dress :)

The dress fit perfectly! Tight enough that I didn't have to wear a bra, but very comfortable and able to easily sit and dance.

A friend told me about this site two weeks before my wedding. I ordered the dress for the reception, but once I tried it on, I threw my wedding dress to the side and wore this. It gave me the hour glass figure I was looking for. The fit was true to size. The most beautiful thing I've ever worn.

This was my "back up" dress, but the second I tried it on I knew it was the one! Many have noted that the fabric is heavy - this is one of the things I loved about the dress. The skirt has a full flair and due to the heavy weight of the fabric it stays "poufed", which is glamorous in and of itself. The pale pink is lovely and could go from being dressed down to dressed up, which worked perfectly for an outdoor wedding at a Boston yacht club. The skirt was perfectly knee length, which kept me cool on the summer day without being too showy or inappropriate. The excellent bodice support never had me worried that the dress would fall - I danced all night without worry. I've rented several RTR dresses but this one got (by far) the most compliments! One older lady told me at the end of the night to never, ever get rid of this dress and to wear it every chance I got. I didn't have the heart to tell her I had to return it the next day. :)

This dress ran true to size and was a dream to wear. As the other ladies on here mentioned the material was heavy but not in a bad way and I was cool and comfortable all night. I ordered a size 4 without a backup size bc it was not available. Thank goodness it fit true to size! The corset top prevented slipping and made me feel so thin! The length was perfect for a church wedding. I am 5'11" and the dress hit me j above the knee - this dress might overwhelm a shorter frame. I wore it with light pink pumps and simple silver jewelry. It was a very well made dress and I would rent it again!

I rented this dress last minute for a garden wedding in San Diego, and RTR made it convenient and seamless by shipping directly to the hotel the day before the wedding. While I was skeptical about the crinkle effect shown in the pictures - I could not have been more blown away with how beautiful it was in person. There is substantial support throughout the bust and ribcage, and a boned corset keeps everything in place without a bra! It is made from very heavy material (almost like I was wearing heavy drapes.. in a good way! Ha!) and yet in 86 degrees - I was cool as a cucumber! I received endless compliments all night long, even found myself being named "best dress of the night" from the bride herself! When it was all over, I dropped the dress in the provided UPS bag and the front desk took care of returning it for me!

I rented this dress for a garden wedding and just fell in love with it..and so did my hubby! It runs true to size and the construction of the dress is top notch, wearing a bra with it is optional. I like that for a strapless dress I didn't have to keep pulling it up like some other strapless dresses. I highly recommend it!

I was in the South for a semi-formal event that took place mostly in the garden. I matched the pink azaleas! Overall, the dress fit true to size. The dress is cut to hit at the knee, longer than most flared skirts. It's very modest in this way, no concerns about your skirt flying up in the wind. I think taller girls would be really happy with the length, but shorter girls would not like this style. The corset and built in bra were excellent, nothing fell out of place the whole day and unlike most strapless dresses, I was not constantly pulling the top up. The dress is really girly, I paired it with black accessories to give it some edge. Compliments on the style were flowing in my direction, and I loved the feeling and sway of the dress. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to feel pretty.

I ordered the 0 and 2 but ended up wearing the 0. It has a built in corset so it was quite tight when I was sitting in the limo, but standing up was fine. I suggest if you are wearing this to a dinner, order the size up. I absolutely love the dress and I keep getting asked where I got it on the Facebook pictures. It was an amazing party dress that I'll never forget.
