I got a ton of compliments all night! This dress is very flattering and one of the few dresses good for shorter gals due to the slit. I am 5'2", wore 4 inch heels and the dress just barely skimmed the floor. I loved that I could wear a strapless bra with this dress too. I would recommend this dress hands down!

This dress is beautiful and slimming. Gorgeous line. Super comfortable and easy to navigate. Slightly big on top but worked very well with strapless bra and double sided tape.

Rented this dress for my Bond themed company Christmas Party. All the material was conservative enough for my company party; the slit was nice but not too high.

Although I have a small body frame, the regular fit perfectly! I couldn't have been more pleased with this soft-style dress. The folds of the dress are obviously staged to look structured on the model image, but the material description online matched my expectations exactly. It's very flowy and classic, & feels like a red carpet dress. It looks great with a full up-do and brilliant earrings. I wore it with 3.5" stilettos, which was great for my height. I recommend that if you rent this dress, you stick to a classic, simple look for accessories, shoes, etc.

Perfect for a formal wedding...comfortable to eat, drink and dance! Tight around the waist, I was able to skip a bra. I'm 5'8" and I do wish this came in lengths. In bare feet, it touched the floor, but was a touch short in heels. Gorgeous when walking...just a great, elegant, easy dress.

Great dress for a formal affair. Fit was great, only had to use fashion tape on the shoulder to keep the white part showing. I wore 4 1/2 inch heels and the dress length was perfect. The slit is great while dancing! Definitely recommend this dress!

I found this dress to run large in order to achieve the desired look. If you go a size smaller be mindful that the dress runs narrow in the waist. This was my 1st RTR. I will definitely use again!

I went a size up bc my hubs and babysitter couldn't zip the zero. The two was a little big in the boobs and around the arm but it stayed on fine and I didn't have to play w it all night. The white waist band goes around your rib cage and is snug - hence a size up. Good if you have boobs. I have none and wore a strapless padded bra. The material is very light weight, like jersey. Good for summer despite the black color. Loves the leg slit. The inside of the dress is white - cool.

I rented another style at first and saw the option to add a second style for a discounted price so I chose this as my back up and was only able to get the one size. The other dress was a big disappointment as neither size fit and it just appeared to be richer looking on the website, This dress was it from the moment I took it out of the packaging!!! I wore it to a black tie optional wedding at one of Philadelphia's most popular venue's - Cescaphe's Downtown Club. I received so many compliments and felt like an old hollywood movie star in it!. The material was so luxurious and silky, it fit like a glove and flowed beautifully when I walked. The slit appears to be a bit daring but it was more modest in person. I absolutely recommend this to anyone attending a forma affair! It was perfect!

I wore the 12R which was pretty true to size.I'm not a full busy so I'd def wear some tape or a strapless bra.I danced all night at a NYE party very comfortably.The material is soft and really comfortable.I wore 4 inch heels but my dress was long enough and I didn't have any problems with it!I got lots of compliments and I'd totally recommend the dress to others!

I usually wear a 2 or 4. This dress fit great but was a little snug around my rib cage. Perfect length and comfortable every where else

I loved this sexy black and white gown! This style runs true to size and works best for A to C cup sizes. It is very fitted in the natural waist but has comfortable room in the hips. I would size up for backup as the fabric has no stretch. I wore this 5 1/2 inch heels and it was the perfect length

I wore this to a black tie fall wedding and it was definitely unique and lovely. I have a little waist but wider hips and tummy and this dress was very flattering where I wanted it and forgiving where I needed it.

The dress was like a silky satin material

This dress fit great - with just a bit of extra space and was super comfortable. Having a very small frame, I was pleasantly surprised that a dress without stretchy fabric was able to fit me! The material is very soft and light weight - it blew beautifully in the wind. I felt almost angelic! The white band at the waistline gave great shape and the dress fell nicely on my body. Even though it is black, it felt like my shape was still there - perfect! I would highly recommend :)

Needed to be steamed really carefully otherwise the top looks messy. Also fits tight around the waist but lose around the chest.

The dress was gorgeous. It arrived with a few stray threads and a rough hem, but still gorgeous. I winged it with this dress because no backup was available, but it did fit. The band around the waist was a tad snug, but it did zip. The zipper is tricky like other reviewers stated. I wore about 4 inch heels and the dress was about 3/4 inch off the ground. I did use fashion tape to keep the top down. I should've also used it to keep the white part down so it would show in photo's. All in all, I think the dress was gorgeous. The only thing I wish was that the slit was a tiny bit higher as it didn't show any leg in photos that I wasn't posing for. It's gorgeous, classy, and just the right about of sexy.

The dress fit perfectly, I'm a petite person(5'2) so I wore it with a 4" heel and the length of the dress was good. The zipper on the side was a bit though to pull up, but not that hard after it's half way up. Overall the dress was lovely, easy to walk around with, and looks and feels sexy as you walk and the opening on the front starts to flow!

LoVED the dress. Was ALMOST too short but I wore lower heels. The only con was that the band around the waist was very snug. Other than that LOVED the dress.

The dress was very pretty but I was a bit surprised at how thin the material was. I thought it would be a bit fuller based off the photo shown. Both the 6 and 8 fit but the 8 was a bit loose. I'm 5'9, 158 lbs and busty. I was a little worried about zipping it up on the side but just took my time getting it up.

The white on the top of the shoulder doesn't show on the dress on as it does in the photo on the website.

I managed a gala for the non-profit I work at and was only floating through the crowd minimally, but received so many compliments on this dress. I felt so glamorous as the kudos just kept coming! I'm so glad I rented instead of just grabbing yet another cocktail dress off the rack. Felt like I was floating. Make sure you're in heels, though, lots of folds. Not my typical style but I'm so glad I took a risk and got this dress. It was modest yet sexy and flowed beautifully. I'm 5'4" and it was perfect with 3 inch heels. Have a large bust and it fit perfectly. Love this dress and would rent it again!

Read the reviews on this dress, they are definitely helpful! I picked this one because of others' comments that it was roomy in the bust. That is no exaggeration - in the 12P I had extra room up top (and I NEVER have extra room up top. On the other hand, the waist runs a bit small. I am usually smaller on the bottom than on the top and in this dress I worried the 12 would be too big but in fact it was perfect. It wasn't strangling me all night. So if you are smaller on the top you may not want to pick this dress as you'll need to go up in sizes to make the waist fit comfortably, and then you'll find the top is too big. I also appreciated others' comments who recommended double-sided tape to affix the ruffle detail at the shoulder for maximum effect. Without the tape, it can just flop closed and you lose that nice eye-catching detail. The fabric is lightweight silk (or at least a decent imitation thereof), it feels lovely on your skin. You'll feel like a Hollywood movie star from the 1940s! Definitely recommend this dress.

Fit perfect! I wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect. I used fashion tape to keep front drape in the right position.

True to size, I'm 5 '7 and the length was great, the higher waist is also very flattering.

Used it for a wedding in Puerto Rico and didn't feel hot in it.

I loved the material! When the wind blew it was so light and made me feel gorgeous. The way the white contrasted and complimented the black dress made me stand out. Matched perfectly with my dates outfit and we definitely stole the show. Great fit- zipper stuck a little but I was able to get it right. I suggest wearing a strapless girdle or undergarment to make sure your dress has a smooth foundation. It's form fitting and fabulous.

It was light and fee flowing (great for Texas heat and humidity). It was glamorous and sexy with enough leg to catch a glimpse of the concealed weapon tucked into my garter. Just right for a Jame Bond 007 Ball!

The fabric is soft and it fits like a dream. Side zippers are sometimes difficult for me to wear because I have a broad back but I got this one up. The dress is very slimming. I could wear the 6 but if you are busty like me (34DD) you may want to go up a size just for more movement around your ribcage.

The size was perfect. The only think I could say was the dress was a little staticky.

Wore this in a wedding. Elegant, comfortable, exactly what I needed. Fabric is light. am small chested so somewhat big in around armpit area, but not enough that it was a problem or noticeable. Recommend. Just note the flare part doesn't stand up like does no the model -- lays over, but still pretty.

I'm more of an apple shape and this dress hid my tummy and emphasized my arms and legs. I'm 5"5" and it was the perfect length with a pair of 2 inch heels.

I am a size 6, but the ban at the waist was slightly tight when I tried it on, so I went with the 8. I went up a size because I knew I would be eating, drinking and sitting for a while and I didn't want to be the "pretty girl that looks like she's in pain from her dress". The ruffle detail on the dress is not STIFF as you would assume from the picture. The material throughout the dress is soft, but it does not blow in the wind while you walk. Perhaps it was just me that wanted that dramatic detail/look. ;) I give the dress 5 stars! ENJOY

Sadly, I was unable to wear this gorgeous dress. My top is to big;( everything else was amazing!! I had ordered two other dresses and they didn't fit I called and the girl sent method one she had she was sending me others just in case I was fearful the 8 wouldn't;(. Again sadly that was the inky dress that came thankfully Morgan saved the day and apologized a million times and offered me a solution! Thank you for being sincere;)

The fabric was gorgeous, smooth, and flowed when I walked without being a true train. Shows off shoulders, necks, and legs and flatters waist and hips. I could have taken it up a little in the ribs if I owned it. Husband was sorry to see me send it back.

Overall, the dress fit really well. I'm 5'8" and wore 4" heels without any issues on the length of the regular. The only complaint I have - similar to other reviews - the band around the rib cage is tight. I wouldn't recommend going up a size because of this though, as it fit well everywhere else.

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding and it was perfect for the occasion. I was hoping to wear the 0 petite, which was perfect up top and in length, but the white band in the fabric has no elasticity -- it fell right on my rib cage and I could not breathe in the 0. I ended up picking the larger size and using fashion tape to adjust the top which was a bit big. Overall it was fantastic.
