The dress is really pretty. My husband and best friend both liked the back of the dress and said the fit was really nice. The jersey material was very comfortable and didn't wrinkle which was nice. I would recommend this dress for smaller busted girls though because the part that hits under the breast is really high.

Classic and comfortable! Was a "bonus" dress when a size wasn't available but worked out perfectly! Despite being fairly busty, the dress fit great with enough support and no concerns for excess cleavage or "wardrobe malfunctions"!

Fit was snug but true to size. I've got a bit of fluff so it wasn't exactly slender on me. The open back was fun and the jersey material was so soft. Oddly enough I picked a dress that just about matched the bridesmaid dresses that night!

It was a little tight on my back where the straps were located. I didn't want any extra bulge popping out so i went with the 10 instead of the 8. However the material is stretchy so it was comfortable everywhere else.

This Standing On the Edge gown is a perfect black tie option! It's an extremely comfortable jersey material, and has a very nice belted waist. However, I would only recommend this dress for A to C cups. The halter and open back leaves little room fuller busts, as it hits at a very high bust line. The fabric has excellent stretch and you will definitely be comfortable at any formal affair!

Wasn't my first chose, but this dress worked out great! Only con was my heels kept tugging on a dress a bit but I got so many compliments on the dress. Felt fabulous!!! It was the perfect dress for modesty and with a touch of sex appeal in the back. Love love love!

I just had twins so I wasn't sure what size was going to fit. But I was happy that the material was stretchy and it fit really nice. I'm short so I was concerned that the dress was going to be too long, but with 3" heals it was perfect. I wished it showed a little more cleavage.

Perfect dress for the Holiday Ball I attended. Elegant and classy and extremely comfortable. Definitely a throw on and forget it dress. Didn't have to worry about straps falling, adjusting, etc. all night long. Would definitely recommend a nu-bra, if needed, as the back of the dress is a little low for a strapless/regular bra. This was my back-up dress for a black-tie wedding. It was a little challenging to get into, but once on, the dress is very unique. It's form flattering and comfortable. The halter style front is classic, while the open back is daring and sexy. It would have been a great choice had my first choice not worked out.

The material was very comfortable and still looked very classy! This whole process was very simple, I'm very happy that I chose RTR! Hiding the halter part of my bra was very tricky but overall I loved this dress!

I wouldn't have picked this dress originally, but I had few choices the day before my event. The fabric was comfortable and it was relatively flattering. I did pin the top v-neck down, as it's much more conservative than it seems to be in the photo. I would call it high coverage. It was also quite short. I'm 5'7 and had to wear kitten heels, and it was still about an inch off the ground.

This dress fits perfect. I have am a full figured woman and this dress truly accentuated my curves. I was comfortable and felt like a Queen!

This dress was perfect. I was a groomsmen in a wedding and needed an all black formal dress similar to the bridesmaids style. It was the perfect mix of classy and sexy. Received compliments all night. At 5'3 I never know if petite or regular will be better- the petite was a little too short with heels so I had to go with the 2 regular.

This was my back up dress and it was a fantastic choice- I'll have to give props to the RTR stylist who chose it for me. The back of the dress adds a little more oomph to the simple design. It's a great choice for a more formal wedding/affair. I would definitely recommend renting!

Great fitting dress, even thought the 2R fit me, I liked having a slight give around the ribcage so I ended up wearing the 4R. The dress was a hit, the fabric does not wrinkle-no need to press it. Very hard to wear a bra with this dress given the back, but I felt well covered even though I have a smaller chest and danced a lot (I am sure it would hold larger chests well too!). One small draw back was that the dress is quite long, even with 4 inch heels, I had to hold the dress a bit when I walked, but it did not bother me one bit. I highly recommend this stunning dress!

Waist hits at the ribs rather than my natural waist, but still fit well. Didn't need to wear a bra, was very comfortable. Only negative comment is that the inner lining of the dress kept getting caught on my heel when I walked, which was very annoying. Its a classic style, got lots of compliments.

I ended up loving the dress but wishing my local RTR store had more sizing options (my fault for the last minute search). It was a VERY flattering dress, perfect for the black tie wedding I attended.

Material was softer in person. The dress had a very flattering fit and the straps and everything stayed in place perfectly. 10/10 would rent again (or buy this dress)

The back of this dress is beautiful! The front of the dress is a very simple halter. Ties in the back, which accentuates the waist. They sent this to me as a back up dress, but I chose a more loud dress. Simple and elegant. Length fit as excpected.

Nice for formal events

This dress was amazing. It felt great and looked great. The back was really nice and the length was perfect with my 5 inch heels. The only reason I ended up not wearing this dress was because I decided I wanted a bright color, but this dress was absolutely perfect in every other way. All of my friends were in love with it and one friend lamented not ordering it for herself. Recommend for any age. Great for prom because it won't fall down as you dance.

The material was amazing! So comfy but looked elegant at the same time. It was not too revealing up top, and it did not accentuate the stomach area either. I recently had a baby, so I did not want something to tight in those areas. This dress was a perfect fit!

I normally vary between a 10 and a 12, but since this was stretchy I decided to go for the smaller size. It fit beautifully. I have a larger bust, but didn't need a bra with this. The v-neck in the front is higher than you would expect so it isn't too busty - and the back is a beautiful surprise. I will admit it does take a bit of time to get in to it. I would definitely do your hair and make up AFTER you get in the dress, because you cannot get into it gracefully at all.

It is form fitting in the bust and waist and hangs loosely down. This is the first time I was able to wear an open back dress because I usually have constrictions due to a larger bust. If you don't like the thick straps that much, you can easily twist them a little bit to make them thinner and it still looks completely normal! I recommend this dress to everyone because it is very flattering!

This is a great dress that I wore for a black tie event. I wore the stick-on bra because the back is open right where the bra strap would be, but the bust area was wide enough that I didn't have any issues. The dress laid very nicely and the fabric was very forgiving. Loved it!

This dress was perfect for the gala I attended. I needed a dress that was formal but didn't stand out too much and this was the perfect choice. This was a long event between cocktail hour, silent auction, dinner, program, and dancing after. This dress was so comfortable yet figure flattering and formal. My only gripe is that it was ever so slightly snug in the chest.

This dress was so comfortable, and I got so many compliments! The neckline in the front was a little bit higher/modest than I expected, but the back was more exposed and sexy than I expected, so it balanced out to be perfectly formal and fun for a family event. Oh, and the length in 4R was perfect for my height (5'5.5") with 3 inch heels.

I ordered the 2R and 4R. For some reason, the 2R was much shorter than the 4R. I ended up choosing the 4R b/c of the length. Very comfortable and elegant dress. Would not recommend for large busted people or for those who want a lower neckline in front .

Pros: The fabric is heavy, but fluid; dress is well made and feels great on. very comfortable. I really wanted to love it. Cons: I am small-chested and this dress did absolutely nothing (nada/zippo/zilch) for my bustline. This design is better suited to someone with larger breasts.

I night this as a classic back up dress in case my original choice didn't work. It was well made and fit nicely. The original choice was just better so I went with that.

This dress was much more elegant than I had intended which is why it did not work for my event. The fit was fine, however you can't wear a bra with this dress which is also why it did not work for me.

The fit and feel of the dress was very luxurious, but I did not end up wearing this dress as I felt I was drowning in fabric from all the pleating. My taller friend tried the dress on though, and it looked great.

As others mentioned the neckline is very conservative and the straps are fairly thick. I'm a 47 year old mom and I even thought so! Lost one star for this. I am fairly broad (38 B) so the 10R fit well but definitely choose your size and one up if you are more on the athletic build side. The length was fine with a three inch heel-could have worn a 4 inch (I am 5'6 +) No problem with fit as plenty of space in the hips/bottom. The fit is loose and comfortable. Nice dress.
