Usually an 8 - went with the 6 and it fit like it was tailored to my body. Usually a little self conscious of my butt and hips but this dress was cut perfectly - no need for spanks or an special under garments. Needed to keep the evening within budget and had the shoes in the closet even though I think the look of a black thin strappy shoe looks the best with this dress. Color was great and so nice to stand out from all the black in the room.

It fit beautifully- a classic A Line. Also it was very comfortable so I didn't have to worry about wanting to head home early.

I'm normally a 6 but wore a 4 in this dress, though both fit fairly well. It seems like it runs slightly large in the hips, which is why I chose the smaller size. The bottom part of the dress bustled up in the box and needed to be ironed, but otherwise it arrived in great condition. Love this dress!!

I wore this dress to a work party and dance. The size 14 was perfect! I am busty and the thick material (almost quilt-like) gave me a modest but elegant shape. The color was perfect and the black thread detail on the lower dress was really an interesting touch. I received lots of compliments and the shape of the dress was fun to dance in. My only issue with the dress and it was resolved with a steaming is the hem is very thick. Because of the material and lining, there were places where the hem was folded and pointy, almost like the lining was sewn in too tightly causing the hem to bunch in places.

The fabric has a pattern sewn into it and horsehair lining along the bottom edge that gives the hem a nice line. It has tiny pockets and fits so comfortably. For me it ran large but the 6 was easy to move in.

This dress was gorgeous. The fabric was pretty thick. Dress was a tight fit but had a little bit of give to it. It was comfortable for sitting and dancing at the fall wedding I wore it to. I would definitely recommend this one.

This dress is very comfortable and well-made. The fabric has a light quilted texture, so it's actually pretty warm for a party in the winter - Christmas, New Year's etc. Excellent for my pear shape - made me look proportional. My one criticism is that the hem has a stiff interfacing that tends to stick out a bit when you sit, unless you arrange it a little.

This dress run large on me for some reason. Normally I am between a 4 and a 6, but I would have fit best in a 2. The 4 was OK with a belt that I added, but it did bunch up at the waist. The dress certainly wasn't going to go anywhere, but if I hadn't been wearing a coat the size would have been noticeable. This dress is a great length for me at 5'8", hitting right at my knee, similar to the model. It is also fully lined, which meant no under layers to pull down and made the dress warmer once the temperature dipped into the 50s that night. This dress even has small pockets in front, but they aren't deep enough to hold anything, just look cute. No ironing needed out of the box. I loved this dress much more in person than in the pictures after I rented it (options were limited b/c of short notice). Great dress.

The pockets in the front of the dress are perfect. The color is perfect! This is small as I usually wear a 4 in these types of dresses and the 2 fit perfectly. I was sad to send this dress back!!

I chose this dress because the material and quality looked perfect for a fall wedding in the mountains. I was able to pair it with sheer black pantyhose and closed toe black shoes. I loved the entire look and received many compliments. I paired the dress with the Kenneth Jay Lane Jet Drop Earrings, which were a great match. It also looked great alongside my husband's black tux (he was a groomsman).

Wore this to SIL bridal shower (daytime affair in nice restaurant) and it was perfection! Would have been equally appropriate for nighttime formal affair. It fit perfectly (fitted through body and roomy in legs, so no need for spanx IMO). Needs statement piece for necklace to liven up color, which was beautiful deep purple. My future SIL (pictured left) also in RTR dress and introduced me to this site. I'm addicted. Best rental yet!

This might be the best dress I have ever rented from RTR - definitely my husband thought so! The color is gorgeous, the fit was perfect, AND it was comfortable! I added a turquoise-pearl-silver bead necklace and silver bead earrings. The only negative I can say is that the hem has some kind of stiff material in it and it was a little bent out of shape when the dress arrived. But once I put it on and went about the day, I don't think anyone could tell, including me.

I wore this dress to reception/dinner/dancing and it fit the bill for all three parts. It's very comfortable, has pockets and the fuller skirt makes it easy to dance in. I received compliments from TWO female strangers (you know how rare that is!) The zero was a tad big in the waist but overall I thought it still looked great and would rent a Halston Heritage dress again! I also rented the Kate Spade Gold Sparkle Chandelier earrings to go with, and they were perfect too.

Loved the dress! This was my first rental from RTR and it was a great experience. The dress came on time and it fit like a glove. It was a bit tight in the rib cage, but after an hour of wearing the dress it seemed to loosen up a bit which was more comfortable. There was some scratchiness from the stitching on the inside so I wore some spanx and it took care of it. I paired it with some Sam Edelman pointy toe & ankle strap pumps and a chunky necklace. I received SO many complements because the dress just looks like luxury and it is a nice thick fabric that is good for a nice smooth fit, plus it really accentuated my curves and I felt awesome in the dress. I'd love to wear it again!

I needed something pretty and fun, but conservative for my role as the Board Chair at a fundraising gala. This was the perfect dress. Very flattering, but not revealing. The tiny pockets were perfect for collecting business cards and keeping my lip gloss handy. The purple color is rich and deep, and the black flair at the bottom adds depth and interest. This is a heavy material, so it was warm enough to wear sleeveless in March in our cool climate. Would definitely wear again. Fits snugly in the chest but loose around waist and hips. If I owned this dress I would have the waist nipped in for a better fit since I am a true hourglass. But there's lots of room for more pear-shaped figures in this dress.

RTR was SO easy. I opted to get the free second size and am glad. The 4 fit but was a tad tight through my chest. I went with the 6 and it was perfect. The dress is a gorgeous color, the material is very nice. What a great overall experience and dress. It's one that I know if I tried it on in a store, I'd be hard-pressed to find a reason not to buy even though I don't have many opportunities to wear it.

I found the dress to be bright and stylish. The material did not wrinkle and was extremely comfortable to wear and to dance in.

I loved this dress! I wore it to a winter wedding and received compliments all night long. The deep purple color is beautiful, but a little overwhelming, so I wore a black belt and a RTR bib necklace to break it up a bit. The fabric is thick and textured, which was great for a winter wedding. I rented a 12 and 14, but the 14 fit better in the bust and waist. I would definitely recommend it and would love to wear it again!

Everyone at the wedding loved this dress and asked me where I got it! So comfortable and chic for a winter wedding. I wore it with black suede pumps and a purple nylon clutch. I rented Dannijo Cecile earrings and they matched perfectly! It runs a little big, as I am usually a 4/6 and the 4 felt big on me. It was a great length for a wedding, very appropriate and lady-like! Would definitely recommend this style to a friend!

Loved this dress, the material, the rich purple color, the full skirt...I am a tall girl, and it was still just slightly above the knee for me. Love the subtle design at the bottom. The fit was just a SMIDGE large in the middle, but I much prefer that over too small, so I was fine with it. Perfect as a wedding guest dress!

The dress is a nice weight and has a wonderful hem line that gives the dress real substance. The fabric is a bit textured. The sleeves are perfect so I didn't need to worry about a bra strap showing since it came out far enough. Gave me a great waist and I felt beautiful!

The fabric was the perfect weight for a chilly fall wedding and the color was beautiful. It is a very vibrant purple in person and I loved the detail on the shoulders. I paired it with come black stockings and heeled booties and it was great! I rented a 0 & 2 and ended up wearing the 0. There was still a little bit of room, but it wasn't too big. It was nice wiggle room to eat tons of food at the reception! I got tons of compliments all night and everyone loved the dress :) So sad to send it back!!

This dress fit my curvy short frame perfectly. The purple jewel tone looked amazing and I got a ton of compliments on not wearing a little black dress. My friend borrowed my back-up dress so everyone was thrilled.

This dress was fabulous! It was so flattering and elegant - perfect for a black tie optional wedding. I added accessories from Charming Charlie and was set for the night. I did go one size up based on reviews and needed it for my bust. First time in awhile I haven't worn my Spanx tummy tucker and was happy to be breathing easy but still feel great! One tiny drawback is that the boning structure of the dress did rub little raw spots on my back. Nothing awful but sensitive skin may fare worse. If I'd worn my spanx there would have been no issue.

Loved this dress and got tons of compliments. The color and thicker fabric were perfect for a fall wedding. The higher neckline and skirt shape made it a bit more conservative than I was expecting, but I quickly got over it. I'm usually between a 6 or 8 and sized down so the dress would be fitted in the upper body. Length was perfect for me (I'm on the taller side). This was my first RTR experience and it was awesome!

My husband received an award at an architecture convention, so I wanted something a little funky and unique for the banquet. This dress definitely fit the bill. I ordered the 2 and 4 and, while both fit well, I opted for the 2 due to fit in the bust. The skirt bells out, but isn't over the top. That along with the sleeves made it have a bit of a Judy Jetson/futuristic feel which my husband thought was great. I got tons of compliments on both the dress and necklace (Badgley Mischka) all night. To top it off, it was an extremely comfortable outfit, especially since you can wear a regular bra with it. My only complaint is that the pockets in the front poked out a bit when I sat down and looked a little strange, but it wasn't anything too distracting.
