I wore this dress for a father/daughter brunch; it was perfect for the event! It was classy and conservative, but fun! The 0 fit perfectly and the fabric was nice for the chilly weather. The top of the dress was a little snug with a push-up so definitely wear a normal bra if you can. The pockets were a nice touch. Would wear again!

This is a really unique dress--the top is silky but textured, and the bottom feels like a soft tapestry, with a weighted hem. The textures and fabrics made me feel like I was a Game of Thrones character. ;) It's a little heavy so I was worried when it first arrived, since I rented it for my June birthday and it had been 80+ degrees, but we had unseasonably cold weather that day so it was perfect with a short black cardigan and blue-gray scarf (I thought the black alone was too severe because on the dress it fades into almost gray). It was difficult to match with my own jewelry and it didn't work with the Kate Spade Steal the Spotlight necklace I rented (colors were off--see photo), and the neckline was a little high for my taste, but the sleeves were fun and the fit was perfectly true to size. I wore it all day at work and then all night at my birthday party, and it was comfortable the whole time. It may look tight around the ribs in photos but didn't feel that way. Definitely enjoyed this free birthday dress thanks to RTR PRO!

Loved the dress and the pockets were a bonus. It is more champagne colored than it looks in the picture but all in all a great rental.

The 6 was a little loose but I preferred it that way. I wore this dress to a small outdoor wedding and it was the perfect choice. The only problem I had was with the hem; it is a very thick hem and it would not flatten out. I used a warm iron for a few seconds and it helped. Loved this dress and received so many compliments on the shape and how timeless the style is!

I loved this dress, it's very comfortable and the hem is weighted so it stays down. I wore an 8 but probably would have been fine in a 6. The fabric is very comfortable and soft, it is more of a light tan than a cream color. It would be fine for a more casual event also if paired with cute ballet flats.

Tight in the chest area but not the waist so you can eat and not feel uncomfortable. Beautiful dress would recommend for anyone!

It was hard to tell via the photo if the black dots were sequins. They aren't. They are just a pattern.

There are two little pockets in the front that you can't really see in the pictures. All in all the dress fit me perfectly and I recieved tons of compliments!

I didn't actually pick this dress. RTR sent it in lieu of a damaged dress I ordered. The 0 was snug and comfortable on top. I love that this dress is A-line, but it didn't flare out obnoxiously at the the hips. Although it's a heavier fabric, it definitely was okay for a summer wedding. I would order again for a winter event and pair with black tights.

I was worried this dress would be too white for a wedding, but the body of the dress is more of a champagne. The material has a good weight to it and structured so that it makes your waist look tiny! There isn't any give in the dress, so forget the padded bra. I wore a strapless bra because there were no bra keeps in this dress. I would get a back up size for this dress because there is not much give in this dress, so it was tight (but I could still eat/breathe) across the bust and fitted in the waist, but not enough to inhibit any bodily functions. I got a ton of compliments all night!

Love dress! I'm a full bust so dress runs tight on chest but perfect on waist. I would not recommend for anyone size D cup. Still looked stunning and so many compliments! I added the black belt and made the look complete.

I rented the dress for a formal work affair, it was appropriate both with a blazer and without. The bell shaped skirt hides any imperfections below the waistline and the fabric is substantial enough that it flares on it's own - no clinging! The color is much more of a champagne than it appears in the picture, which was just fine with me. I received compliments all evening, and would definitely rent this dress again. Next time I'll add a statement necklace, the high neck begs for it!

Wore this to a Gala and received so many compliments! I rented purple one as a backup but this one seemed more elegant. Big necklace and Kate Spade clutch (also from RTR) tied everything so well. Very comfortable and nice wrinkle free fabric! I would rent this dress again!

This was my first experience with RTR. I tried the dress on at the Henri Bendel showroom after seeing it on another woman. I really enjoyed wearing this dress as it was very appropriate attire for a guest for at a daytime affair. I was looking for something elegant but didn't want to make a dramatic statement. The fabric was very substantial - sort of a quilted silk(?) which provided a lot of body to the skirt. The pattern was also elegant and reminded me of a glass of champagne. Sorry but I was having so much fun that I didn't get any pictures of myself in the dress but I was so excited when it first arrived that I took this picture from when I opened the box and had to send it to my mom! I titled the email to her, "My first Halston - Coolest Thing Ever!"

The dress was fantastic. The fabric is sturdy and high-quality, and combined with the shape of the dress, it gives you a really great shape - it's very flattering and would disguise anything you don't like about your hips. The very small cap sleeves are a little funky, but they give the dress an edgier look than it would have without them. I usually wear a 4, but the 2 fit perfectly - I liked having the dress a bit snug, especially since the stiffness of the fabric hides any worrisome bumps around the tummy. (Also, in the 4, the bottom of the armholes might have shown my bra a little bit.) It came to just about the middle of my knees. Though the dress photographs as a cooler color - and may look almost white - it's actually a very warm champagne tone. I guess the trim is technically black, but because it's in the gradient, it almost looks navy blue. I really loved this dress and would recommend it for any event where you want to look sophisticated, put-together, but also very fun!

I loved the fit of this dress, it was perfect! I added the belt because I felt it just needed something else.

I think this dress was fairly true to size although it was a little large in the waist. In the end I put a belt on it so I looked less thick in the middle. Since I'm short, I loved the length but that might be an issue for someone taller.

This dress ran large, even the size 0 was not as snug as I would like. However, the dress was a hit. I wore this to an evening work function and revived tons of compliments. For $40, it's a solid rental.

I usually wear a 6, but ended up going to with the 8. It does fit true to size, but with being a 32DDD it would not zip over them.. If you have a smaller chest it should fit prefect.

Having read the reviews that the chest ran small, I ordered up a size from what I might typically in a full skirted dress. I found the dress to fit relatively true to size however. I loved the dress and found it really comfortable - the color is champagne in person and definitely not too light to wear to a wedding. I thought this would be a great NYE cocktail option too. The black textured pattern on the skirt and sleeve line makes it feel dressy. The fabric is a bit unusual, I found its reflective nature photographed better in some light than others, but I received plenty of compliments and was really happy with my choice for this late fall wedding!

I'm petite and the bust area was large on me. I wore it with a skinny black belt and necklace which added to the dress. Other than it running a little large on me, the fabric and look of the dress was great! It was for a more conservative event and so the covered top and longer length was perfect.

I normally wear a 12 but that size wasn't currently in stock at the time. The 14 fit loose but did the trick. The fabric is very flattering (read: not clingy) and the cut flatters a fuller figure. The cap sleeves also flatter a fuller arm. I got many compliments on this dress.

Wore this to a retirement party for another doctor in our clinic. It was the end of the night so the 'worn' look to the dress was because I had it on from 4pm to 11pm when the pic was taken. One of our mastiff's even got in on the fun. Black tights and shoes completed the look for a Fall event. I got compliments all night long. Rented the statement necklace and cuff bracelet from RTR because so many other reviews called for a great piece around the neck. The fabric hid any imperfections and 'held you in place' all night, but not uncomfortably. The pockets were great for my lipstick and drink tickets. It was great.

Carefully inspect the dress, as stains are camouflaged nicely and will only show up in certain lighting. I planned on wearing the size 4 but the morning of the wedding I noticed 2 big stains, so I opted for the size 2 instead. The fit, surprisingly, was pretty similar, a bit snug in the chest area. Customer service was awesome, as they shipped me another size 4 the same day after I contacted them, but unfortunately came too late. Overall, very satisfied with the dress as well as customer service.

Absolutely beautiful in person - the fabric was rich and shimmery - a perfect day dress paired with nude colored shoes. I received so many compliments about this dress. The fit was true to size. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is that the bottom ombre part got more and more wrinkly as the day wore on. The backup size I got of this dress arrived with that part so wrinkly that there was absolutely no way I could wear it. I tried an iron, but I was afraid to make it too hot for fear of burning the dress. Thankfully, by the time it was at its worst, it was the end of the day, but it was definitely a drawback. I'm not sure if the different material on the bottom accounted for that or what. Otherwise, a great rental. I would rent it again, and I see that they have a purple and black version too!

Too tight in the bust, too loose in the waist, but this is a common problem for me, so I'm used to it. I loved being able to wear an unforgettable , distinctive dress, without feeling I had to wear it over and over to justify the cost. This dress is so memorable, that people would notice if I wore it more than once. My daughter is also wearing RTR - she's the one who turned me on to this amazing service!,

This dress was not my first choice, but I ended up being very happy with it. This is a perfect dress for pear shaped women like me as there was no worry about whether it would fit over my hips! It fit me well, although in hind sight I probably could have gone down a size as it was a bit big in the waist and bust. A back up size was not available in this style, however. It definitely needed ironing but even after I ironed it twice on two different days, it was still a bit gimpy in places due to the nature of the heavy fabric. Overall though it was easy to move in, fun for a NYE party and made me feel beautiful.

The dress is more obviously champagne in person, and the black is a true black. The dress had a good heavy hem and moved nicely. Smaller-busted women might have a little fit trouble here, but being sure to stand up straight minimized my problems.

The fit was okay. In some photos I looked pregnant :O but in others it looked great. It may not be made for my body type, I do have a very small waist so it was a little loose there. I loved that it had small pockets in the front small enough to fit a phone, camera, or chapstick. It was a very modest dress, emphasizes the waistline but not much of the chest, bum, or shoulders. Overall, very beautiful dress and I received lots of compliments

To me the dress was super tight in my chest. So much so I had the dreaded uniboob look. It was much different then I had expected but still gorgeous. Also the design at the bottom is more black, in the pictures it appeared to be more like a silver color to me atleast.

This dress was comfortable and unique. It fit like a glove. My only gripe would be them hem had a heavy material in it and wasn't pressed flat so it kind of flared out just a bit awkwardly. I still loved it

This dress was simply beautiful. I rented it for my son's First Communion and felt like a million bucks. It fit like a glove, although the bottom of the skirt was impossible to iron out. I'd recommend it to everyone.

I was in charge of a major fundraising / formal event. This dress was great! Loved the thick fabric & modest cut. Allowed regular & comfortable undergarments! And no worries about any bumps or bulges showing. Only complaint: like other reviews, the hem is oddly bent, and stiff - hard to flatten out. Steaming & ironing did not help.

I'm short and the dress was the perfect length, not too short and not too long. Lots of compliments and a fun dress too! Pockets in the dress are not useful and really unnecessary, but you hardly notice them.
