I'm 5'4/136 lbs and the size 4 fit perfectly! I was a little worried about the fit since I'm still trying to get back to my pre-baby body, but the cut was flattering! I also loved the color for a summer wedding.

Pros: very cute and flirty design, amazingly bright color, a little stretchy (which was nice because at first I thought it clung to my stomach too much and might not look so good after eating all night). Cons: the top flap would unfold at times, but really wasn't that bad. As for fit, I would go with your normal size because it does stretch out. I probably could've worn the 4, but the 6 worked well! Also, I thought the length was perfect and was not self-conscious about it at all.

This dress is incredibly flattering. I loved the style and the fit was incredible. It's made from stretchy, quality material so its super comfy and great for dancing. As you can see from the photos, it is fitted in the waist and flares at the right point to accentuate your hips and legs. I would definitely recommend renting and pairing with a bold necklace. Have fun!

I LOVE this dress!! (Seriously- I might go buy it.) I was having one of those days that where I didn't really like the way I looked, but when I put on this dress, it all changed! The only thing is: it runs really big. When I have used RTR before, I have gone with sizes 4 and 6. After reading the reviews, I chose sizes 4 and 2. I ended up wearing the 2, and it was still roomy. The fabric is really stretchy, so as I ate and drank, the dress still looked and felt great. I felt so confident- and the appropriate amount of sexy for a wedding. Another great RTR experience!

Wore this to a summer wedding and got a ton of compliments all night. The fabric is heavy (not hot) so the flared skirt will not be a problem no matter how much twirling you do on the dance floor! I did have to maintain the off-shoulder style periodically throughout the night but it wasn't much of an issue. It is really an eye-catching dress, I definitely recommend it. Fit like a dream!

I wore this dress to an outdoor wedding and it was perfect! Everyone loved the dress! I worried the top would be annoying but it stayed put better than I expected and the material was stretchy and comfortable.

the 8 was a bit too small & the 10 a bit too large, but i opted to wear the 10. the fold across the shoulders for the 8 worked better though. great dress to dance in. it was a little shorter than i thought it would be, but not an issue, just an observation.

This dress was another complete success from RTR. The color is awesome, the fit is absolutely perfect, and the fabric is super unique and interesting. The dress falls around the hips in such a cute way and was wonderfully flattering. I paired it with gold accessories and loved the whole look. Compliments all night. This dress ran large I was afraid neither of the seizes we're going to fit me ( thinking they would be too small) but they actually fit and the size 8 fit perfectly. The fabric has a bit of a stretch Without clinging to your body which makes you feel very comfortable even after cocktail hour! The fold over on the top did not stay folded perfectly and I kept fixing it which truly did not bother me. I defiantly recommend renting this dress, you will not regret it.

I loved wearing this dress for my bachelorette party! The fabric is a little thick for the summer but it has a lot of stretch so it's comfortable. The size 0 fit great but a bit short for my comfort so I wore shorts under, which came in handy! The size 2 had a great length but was too big everywhere else. This dress is great for a petite frame or even a curvy frame, just keep in mind the length. I got so many compliments while wearing this dress and I felt so amazing!!! I love the full skirt and how it moved when I walked!!! I would definitely rent this dress again!

The dress is definitely short. It was very comfortable & true to size. I chose to wear the 8 rather than the 6 because it dropped the hem a bit lower, but both dresses fit well. If you like to show your legs, this is your dress. I loved the color and the fabric is stretchy. Even the Easter Bunny liked this dress!

I rented this dress for a casual outdoor wedding. I am usually a size 2 but this dress runs large and a size 0 fit perfectly. The material is very stretchy and extremely comfortable. Loved the flare of the skirt and the off shoulder neck. I got so many compliments! The color is a much vibrant orange than on the image. I rented it thinking it was more of a peach but was delightfully surprised.

This is my first rental and I was nervous about the fit since I read that Halston runs big. I usually wear a 2 or 4 but I ended up wearing the 2. I would have needed the 0 for it to fit like it did on the model - so order down. The 2 still fit well. The dress was very sweet without being over sexy which is what I wanted. It was well constructed with a heavy stretchable fabric. It was comfortable to wear also which was a bonus. I am not as tall as the model, so the length was not to short. But remember, after a couple drinks - no twirling in this dress ! Its a full skirt! I had a lot of compliments on the dress and I had a great evening in it. My husband said I looked gorgeous ! Rent the Runway first experience was great! Looking for to my next rental.

My birthday party theme was "Orange is the New Black," so this dress was perfect! The dress was a gorgeous material that was heavy enough for my winter birthday party, but didn't weigh me down all night. The dress also hugged me in all the right places. My only complaint is that the top of the dress kept unfolding. It would have been better if that part was pinned down so I wasn't playing with it all night. Would still rent it again!

Searched high and low to find a dress to wear for the new Horseshoe Casino opening in Baltimore. The theme was 'summer festive' and I was at a loss. About a week beforehand I found this and it was available - and thank goodness for that! The fit was true to size, though I was glad to have ordered on the small size (I typically wear a 0-4 and went with the 0 & 2 here, ending up wearing the 0). The fabric had more elasticity than I was expecting, so I wore some spanx to boost my confidence a bit ;) a normal strapless bra worked fine. The fabric was a little heavier than I expected, so I was glad the temperature was on the comfortable side. My only complaint was that the fold for the off-the-shoulder look took a little readjusting over the course of the evening. Still, I got so many compliments on it from fellow VIPs and casino workers alike - I am so grateful to have found this little number!

Loved this dress, but sizes are a little weird. I usually wear a 4, and the 2 sagged on me. The 0 fit perfectly, but it was so so short! I ended up wearing hot pink spandex underneath so there were no mishaps.

The fabric is soft and stretchy, so it is very comfortable. The off the shoulder neckline limits arm movement, so it wouldn't be my first choice for dancing, but it was perfect for my anniversary dinner. The skirt is just right, not too short, not too long, and I felt beautiful. The dress certainly turned a lot of heads! If you want extra security to ensure a smooth fit, spanx would work very well. The neckline would be perfect for featuring a statement necklace (I don't like to wear jewelry, so I didn't opt for this), and lastly, the dress needed a bit of steaming before I wore it so plan accordingly.

Wore this dress for a Kentucky derby themed dance for my sorority! The color is amazing and was one of the main reasons I picked it. It worked out great besides a couple minor complaints. The strap moves around a lot. The strap across the front is folded over but isn't secured so it is hard to keep folded perfectly. I tried using fashion tape but it didn't really help much. Also, if you don't have a perfectly flat stomach (like me) you might want to wear spanx because it is not very forgiving in that department. But overall a great dress that was perfect for the theme!

I wore this dress to a family member's bridal shower in NYC. At 5'6" 125 lbs I typically wear a 2. I ended up wearing the smaller size because it was MUCH more flattering with less fabric bunching in the torso. Would definitely recommend sizing down if you are smaller in the chest/rib cage/waist area. This dress was definitely perfect for the occasion, flirty and edgy but still conservative. I got several compliments. It was slightly awkward to wear - the sleeves kept bunching up and restricted mobility. As far as the shape, it was very flattering - figure hugging and flared out at the bottom; unfortunately, the photographs do not do it justice. All in all, I had fun renting this dress and would recommend it for a casual, day time event.

I rented this for my brother's law school graduation. I got so many compliments from people asking where I got it and who the designer is. Shamelessly plugged RTR in the process ;) It runs a little big. Go a size down. The dress moves so well and accented my petite body so well. The trick to making sure it looks great: make sure the straps stay below your shoulder! If you let them slip to rest on your shoulder, it looks frumpy. Fabric was a great weight. As a northerner adapted to cold weather, I had no issue braving the California heat all day. If I could buy this dress I totally would. It's amazing.

Great thick quality dress. Super cute and received compliments all night! Definitely size down - I typically wear a 4-6, depending on the shape; however, I probably could have worn a 2 in this dress so it would be more fitted in the middle section. Dress is short, but not inappropriate for the right event (I wore to a rehearsal dinner and am 5'10') and dress was perfect. Great, fun summer/early fall color!

This dress turned out to be better than I hoped for. I originally was skeptical between the 12 and 10 and did not want to be self conscious about my stomach after eating and drinking because it is form fitted in the stomach. However it photographed much better in the stomach than I perceived and with some spanx I felt much more comfortable. I got tons of compliments on the color and style and felt great with my decision! I would suggest sizing down for a backup size.

Tangerine dream! This dress is comfy & fun to swirl in. It is a little short when you sit but alright otherwise. It's much more orange than the image shows but great with a tan. It could've been tighter (I wore my normal 8 instead of the 6) but I was happy. Got lots of compliments!

This was the perfect dress for a day at the races! I wanted something off the shoulders to balance my huge hat and this worked! The straps were a bit annoying riding up my shoulders . I even put fashion tape on the front of the dress where it folded to keep my straps at bay from flopping up, but it was pretty useless. I knew this was going to be a slight issue but the dress was so cute it was worth it. Wore a strapless bra.

Love the look of this dress, though I agree with other reviews that the fabric is very stretchy. I didn't end up wearing this dress to my event because the back was way too short, but I loved playing with it! The short back was such a bummer (no pun intended), and I'll note that I do have some junk in the trunk. But definitely size down if you're going to try it out, and I don't believe going up a size made a huge difference in the length.

Fit great, the shoulders stayed down the whole night even through dancing! Upset that the dress had a small stain on the back, but I don't think anyone noticed. Color is not quite as bright as it looks on the model.
