I would say this is for younger, firm necks. I feel like I was on the edge of it working for me. It does catch the light and adds nice flare to any outfit.

I know that a choker is supposed to be tight, but this felt exceptionally small and I had to keep lifting it up on my neck through the night.

If you have a thicker neck AT ALL... This will not work. I am athletic, and although it technically fit around my neck, it literally became "a choker. Lol!
