Dress got tons of compliments and attention. Very unique colors and sheen. I've rented this designer before and need one size down in this dress. Other reviews were very helpful in determining this beforehand. It is not body- con, the stiffness of the fabric is the shape it will hold all night.

This dress is different than what I would normally pick. The material is thick and holds a shape to it. This dress does not give you a shape or show off yours at all. I wore the xxs and it did not show off any of my figure at all. I felt like maybe it was too big. It felt and looked big on me, but, this is how the dress is supposed to look. It actually ended up being super cute! I am a 32D and did not need a bra at all. The bust is the only part that is fitted.

The fabric is beautiful-- multi-colored and textured, undulating pattern, a hint of sparkle. I rented this the first time in a size 40 (US 4), my usual size, and unfortunately on me the shape didn't work at all: it was much too wide and pear-shaped below the bust, and small and not flattering in the bustling. I tried it a second time in size 38 (US 2) and the body fits much better, but the bust is still very tight. It squishes the breasts flat but also because the neckline is low, makes for a lot of bosom peaking out, a little odd. The fabric is so gorgeous though I am going to wear it, I just wish the cut and shape were a little better for my body.

Bummer. I was so excited about this dress, but I couldn't wear it at all. Even though I went with the smallest available dress size (IT 38/US 0), the top half was laughably large on me. I felt like a little girl playing dress up. Women with large breasts may fare better. It was brand new, with tags on everything, and more glittery and "evening" than I expected. I wish there was a US 00 available. Size down!

Material is a thick fabric that has a metallic sheen to it. This also makes the dress a bit stiff, so the bottom part holds its A-line shape. Paired it with silver platforms for a night at the opera.

Loved this dress so much, but didn't end up wearing as it turned out to be a bit too dressy for my event, also was snugger in the hips than I expected for the A Line. Doable, but I would definitly rent again after losing a few pounds!

Incredibly beautiful fabric, lots of metallic in it. I wanted to wear this so badly...however....it does run large. I ordered one size down from normal size and it fit just fine everywhere but my bust. I'm a 34DDD, so if you are less busty than me, it should be great with a size down. Very sad to return unworn, this one is a gem.

I wore this adorable funky looking dress on Xmas eve with some brown suede boots. It was super comfy and really fun to waar.

I'm pretty pear shaped and find shift dresses sometimes hug my hips uncomfortably. I could tell this dress was meant to be boxy so I didn't listen to reviews of it being huge. In Italian sizes I go with the trick of adding the two numbers to get my size (4+6). Way didn't work on this. Should have ordered even a 42 or 44. The armholes are very small but I'm ok with that. The top fits like a cute French gamine type look especially for those with smaller breasts (like me). The colors are absolutely gorgeous (pink and orange) especially on darker skin color. I loved the dress and may consider it again but sizing way down. Very heavy great quality dress. Wore for Valentine's Day date with a cardigan to cover the fact it was swimming on me, black tights and suede boots. But I still loved it.

This was a great, classy dress that I wish I could keep. I wore it to a major international law conference gala dinner and got tons of compliments. My 2 "complaints" 1) it was small on top 2) the lurex made it a little scratchy under the arms

The bust area will fit a larger cup size, but if you are a DDDD+ or larger, it is not an attractive look and by that I mean it flattens them out like squares. The waist area was larger on me. Unfortunately, this beautifully well-made dress did not fit me correctly.

This is truly beautiful in person! The fabric is just stunning. The only problem is I ordered a 44 ... and really should've gotten a 42. I am a size 6 dress.

This dress is completely gorgeous--the fabric is super luxe-- but it runs HUGE. I was swimming in the 8. I had to send it back (unlimited order) but I'd try again in a 6. Or maybe even a 4.

The fit is overall big, there is plenty of room in the hip for pear shaped ladies. The fabric is substantial, pretty stiff and shinier than the picture would indicate, perhaps more appropriate for a fancy day event or evening cocktail. The cut is too conservative for my taste.
