Rtr sent this dress as an alternative to one that I ordered and was unavailable. The dress itself is great- nice material, black tie but just a little more interesting. However, it runs very large and just kind of hung on me. Wasn’t flattering at all as it had no shape to it. I think this was due to the sizing so I would suggest your backup being a size down.

This was lovely, but it was too toight to zip on my rib cage. I do have a broad rib cage, but just know its pretty fitted in that area.

The bust was either stretched out of cut in a way that gaps on the side. I could not wear the dress. It was beautifully made with high quality fabric, but simply unwearable. I would have needed to open up the side seam and take it considerably. Oddly, the other side was fine.

I was so excited to receive the dress to wear to a black tie wedding. I had been on the fence about renting it since there was not any reviews. Normally I am a 0 to 2 informal gowns this I rented for and there were not back up sizes. Unfortunately, the 40r would not even zip a smidge. The dress does have a side zipper. Also the pictures do not represent the dress so even if it had fit it had no wow factor.
