I'm usually a size small, and sized up to a medium. It fit but was very short (I'm 5'3") and was not flattering in my stomach area. Maybe size up 2 sizes?? I liked it better the second time I tried it on, but with all the buttons I couldn't imagine a situation I'd want to wear it. Too short to sit in but too hard to get out of for bathroom breaks?

I wore this romper during a day of 11 miles of walking while my parents were visiting Chicago. It was very breathable, a nice fit, and held up great! I sized up due to other reviews and it was a good choice. Only con is the buttons up and down in the back were hard to clasp alone.. and had to be undone even to go to the restroom... but with good friends and family it's not a problem!

Absolutely LOVED this romper. It cut at the right places to give you a great shape. It was tough to get in/out on your own, which I mean, it's a romper.. so ya always have to consider that as a risk. But it was such a great light material For a summer BBQ, but wasn't see through.

Wore for a friends rooftop birthday on the hottest day-this was perfect! Fabric is good quality and thick, it's a bit hard to get in and out of as the back not only zippers but also buttons

Great material- not see through at all. Extremely comfortable yet classy. Perfect for a beach side / water front lunch date! You will definitely need someone to zip it and button you up though.

This is such a cute romper in theory. However it's completely impractical. It has a zipper and buttons so I needed assistance anytime I wanted to use the bathroom...so if you're planning on wearing this piece stay sober and avoid liquids beforehand.

Runs so small. I am typically a size 4/6 and a medium in rompers and this was so skin tight on me, I sadly had to return without wearing

I wore this to nicer vacation dinner /party in the Caribbean. I generally wear a small but sized up to a medium - this is fully lined so not see through at all! A little tricky with the button in the back, but was adorable and comfy. Would definitely rent again!

Definitely size up! I rented and XS but the S would have been better (and likely more comfortable). Beautiful fabric. Perfect for a hot summer day. The zipper and buttoned back make it time consuming to take on and off.

Not for me

This romper for tighter than I would have wanted. I was hoping the top would be more blousy but it did hang as much as I would have liked. Overall the romper was tight fitting and I am not large chested at all. I don't think going up a size would have helped- I think the overall fit was just different than what I was looking for!

This fit, but it was just a little too snug in the lower tummy area for my comfort. I liked the design otherwise, except I had trouble getting it on and knew that if I actually were to wear it out, I would have massive problems using the bathroom in it, as others have pointed out. For reference, I rented a Medium.

When this outfit arrived, I thought I was going to love it. The buttons are a nice touch and the material is thick enough that you don't need to worry about it being see through even though it's white. Unfortunately, it was hard to put it on - the zipper is very finicky and buttoning and unbuttoning the outfit is difficult. For me, I didn't want to wear it out because I was worried that I would be screwed if I wanted to use the restroom.

The buttons on this are legit buttons (not just for show). I've mastered the art of zipping myself up in a romper but buttons? No way. So unless you have or have someone to assist you to every trip to the restroom, I suggest skipping this one.

I'm 5'8 and this romper was very short. So short, that I couldn't wear it even though I ordered a M.

The reason I bought this is that the stitching next to the zipper ripped. The zipper is in the back. It runs from the tail to the neck. It is stitched to the lining, which is so fragile that the zipper ripped completely out of the romper as my daughter was helping me zip the back. There is no way to use the bathroom without taking the romper entirely off. The zipper AND the buttons being in the back would make it impossible to put back on if I were actually out on this date with my husband. I will repair and sell this thing, but I tell you—this experience has turned me completely off of RTR.
