I really wanted this dress to work, but it was just too tight in the bust. I'm a 38DD and the top doesn't have any stretch. I typically wear a size 12 in dresses. However, it would've been perfect for my 4'11" frame. I can see someone wearing it for date night or a wedding!

Found the cut to be extremely flattering. The dress was brand new with tags. Some may find that it runs a little small - I found it to be really short (even on my 5'1" frame) so I paired it with tights. Considered buying it, but decided I didn't need another black dress it the closet. Wore it multiple times over the course of the month I had it, which doesn't always happen.

I knew I would love this dress, and I do. BUT, it is SHORT. I'm 5'4, so I thought it would be closer to knee length than it is on the model, but that photo is accurate. It covers my butt in the back, but I would NOT bend over. It's also tight in the waist/ribs. I've worn other size L Greylin items without any problem, but I barely got this zipped. Can't decide if I'm going to risk it for a Christmas party (with tights over spanx) or send it back. If it came in XL, I would probably buy it.

Just like the other reviews say -- this dress is perfect. It's so flattering (literally ate an entire feast of sushi and still looked cute) and can be dressed up or down for any occasion! I rented this for birthday dinners/holidays at the in-laws, and loved it so much I bought it.

This item is so much better in person than in photos. I had it rented for about a month and maybe wore it 10 times. The cut of the waist is so so so flattering- you can eat like an entire pizza and still look great in this. I wore to work with flats and out to dinners with chunky booties.

I absolutely loved this one. I felt so confident and beautiful in this one, and it really flattered my body - tight in some places (in a good way) with ruching in others which helped hide the right things. I received so many compliments, which made me love it even more!! Seriously considering buying this one. Really loved it!!!

Wore this to a baby shower. Fit true to size. Paired with opaque black leggings because 1) it was cold and 2) it was kind of short. Not so short on me that I wouldn't wear it without tights, but only in a club/party situation.

This is a perfect little black dress. I got so many compliments on it! The cut is really flattering/slimming, and the material adds some extra elegance to what could easily be a boring dress. The hemline is a little short, but it's perfect if you plan on wearing leggings or tights with it anyway. Would definitely rent again.

I loved this dress- it was simple, lightweight, and comfortable. I would 100% buy it if it weren't tight around the arms and shoulders (I couldn't really lift my arms) but maybe that's because I have a larger bust. I wore it to work, but if your workplace is conservative, it might be too short. I have the unlimited subscription so will actually try the medium too to see if the fit is better- if it is, I'm buying it!

Runs quite small

Hard to get on, small fit. It looks cute on but the style makes it very hard to get on and take off. I recommend sizing up. I'm usually a 0/2 or XS and even the small just fits in this dress. No stretch.

Dress was new with tags. It was too small in my bust area and wouldn't even zip over my bust.

It had no give, very boring and I couldn't get it on over my boobs
