This is exactly what I was looking for. The rise goes to the top of the ribcage and the length is below the knee for a full, sleek coverage. The skirt bottom has hook-n-eyes, allowing you choose the height of the slit (Yaaasss!). The fabric is thick and stretchy, so conforms to your curves. First - I loved this pencil skirt. I wish they made more pencil skirts in this longer length. The way it was sewn gives you curves no matter what you’re blessed with. The only word of warning: as a girl who is always cold, I usually layer my tights in the winter with an opaque tight then a netted tight on top… and I chose poorly in this instance. The bra hooks caught on the netting so much I ended up discreetly ripping them off in my cubicle so I didn’t fall on my face. I tried closing the hooks, but it didn’t make a lick of difference. I would also say it was roomy enough that if you’re a true size 4 (not 4/6) you can probably size down.

Good quality, scuba skirt but fits more like a maxi if you're on the short side.

Skirt fabric is really nice, and the detail on the slit is also nice. It fit well except for the waist, which was a tad too large.

Perfect pencil skirt! But the eyelet hooks catch on themselves and you're going to walk like a 50's pinup girl.

I didn’t realize when renting the slit up the front has hooks & eyes to adjust the length. The closure element makes the look and feel surprisingly sexy. Good American did good.

I loved the bra like hooks in the front slit. Gave me the freedom to wear for work and then let the slit go higher for date night. It fit my curves perfectly too. Would recommend this skirt.

Love it so much I bought it! You do have to unhook some of the hook and eyes in the front, otherwise it is hard to walk but you can adjust them to make sexy or demure.

The skirt was very snug and it was very difficult to walk in. It looked great though and had good stretch. The discomfort from walking is what kept me from wearing it more.
