Classy. Perfect.

I adore this dress. It was the perfect amount of class, sexy and casual "I woke up like this". Being a little bigger in the thighs, it didn't fit me quite as well, but I die for this dress! I added a gold belt with it and got compliments all night.

Stylist Review!

I adore this gown! It is an amazing true to size fit, but does run a bit tight in the shoulders/arms. I would recommend sizing up as backup if you have broader shoulders. It's also a bit tight in the waist and tight enough in the bust to wear with or without a bra.

Stately and sexy

This was the perfect dress to wear to my formal work event. I wanted something conservative/stately while at the same time flattering and fashion-forward, and this did the trick. It runs narrow at the shoulders but large at the waist. I ended up pinching fabric at the waist with a safety pin so it looked more fitted. Also, be forewarned: when you sit, the folds of the skirt slit part like the red sea. I do not recommend for any event where you are sitting without a napkin over your lap.

Perfect gown for a banquet dinner - classic style with a daring front slit.

Why this gown? This gown caught my eye because of its classic silhouette. RECEPTION by Others: Received several compliments about the rich navy skirt and trim along the front slit. When people found out it was an actual one-piece gown, they loved it even more. DETAILS: The skirt has a slight train and can drag in the back (if you're wearing flats or low heels). Sitting can also be a problem, if you're uncomfortable with showing skin as the slit is high (when sitting). Wore a strapless bra and regular cotton panties without problem. Paired with a big gold jeweled necklace and 4" open toe gold heels. CON: The zipper of the gown I received was nearly impossible to zip, even with the help of another person. The zipper would catch near the rib area. I played with the zipper, a few days before wearing, to loosen the zip and almost considered not wearing it. Thankfully, I was able to zip it (with struggle) the day of the event. Had it not been for the zipper, I would give it 5-stars. (Caveat: I think it was the particular gown's zipper that was the problem, not the style itself.) Overall loved the fit and the elegance when wearing this piece! Would rent again for another event.

Didn't wear it, but it has great potential

I had really high hopes for this dress but it didn't work out. The only size available was the 40R and I think I'm a 38. I rented it anyways because some designers run small and since there were no reviews I had nothing to go on. The dress has really great potential as the skirt is beautiful and would be so flattering on someone who fit the dress better. Top is white and a little boxy. Some girls can pull that look off, some can't. I would be willing to try renting again if they ever get my size in this.

Wore for black tie event

I wore the 34P because it was the only size available. The length was perfect. If I rented again I would go up a size so I could walk without fearing of flashing with the high slit. I was lucky the event required lots of standing!

So Flattering

This dress was so comfortable and so flattering. I had read that it could be tight in the bust (I have a 34 D) but didn't have an issue. I got so many compliments! The slit has a tendency to fall open when you're sitting but it wasn't that bad.

classy, sophisticated, perfect

I wore this to a black-tie optional wedding in early November outside of NYC. The material is great quality and thick so perfect for colder weather - it was unseasonably warm that day and I was still comfortable (like 70). I usually wear a 4 so this fit true to size. My only complaint is the train (mostly because I'm not used to them) which isn't very apparent from the pictures. I think it was the right length (I wore 2.5" heels) and super cute but was tough to dance in or walk backwards (which I surprisingly needed to do a lot) - I ended up getting stepped on a few times. There's kind of a ribbon along the slit of the skirt which wasn't my favorite but NBD. I got tons of compliments, including from the bride so that = a win.

When sitting the slit is pretty revealing.

Very pretty, well made dress. Great for a country club wedding.

I really loved this dress. I'm pretty tall and was worried about the length. Luckily the dress has a by of a train in the back. It didn't fit like a train on me, instead it made the dress seem like it had a bit of a high low hem in the back with the back of the train just grazing the floor in 3 in heels. I later changed into flats to dance and it still for wonderfully. I did have a bit of trouble with the zipper. It seems to get stuck where the blue and white fabric meet in the back. I was able to get it zipped with a little work and by pushing the zipper down while zipping. The only con I could write about is the slit in the dress. I thought that part of the dress would be stitched together near the upper part of the slit but it is not. So, be prepared when you sit to either hold your hand over the top portion or to be showing quite a bit of thigh. Other than that, everything was great! Some people had mentioned the shoulders were tight on them. I think this is more of a fabric issue than fit. I didn't notice an issue. The fabric isn't stretchy and is thicker so it really doesn't have much give either.

I got tons of compliments on this dress. I wore really fancy earrings instead of a necklace.

The petite was perfect. I'm 5'1" and am always worried about dresses being too long, but this one was great. It was a little tight through the chest. All around a great dress.

Great dress

Pro- amazing fit, great material Con- The slit runs all the way up, the top of the dress is criss crossed...when I sat down the criss cross that hides the top of the slit from running all the way up opened and it showed a LOT of my upper thigh...I had to use the wedding agenda to cover my lap in the church! FYI- I'm 5'7'' ~130lbs and usually between a 2-4 and I got the 4 and it fit perfectly. This may be snug on someone with larger busts.

Wore to Engagement Party

I wore this dress to my sister-in-law's engagement party and it was a big hit. The two-piece look allows for you to either dress it up for a more formal event, or dress it down for cocktail. The only problem is that the zipper WILL NOT BUDGE. My husband tried with all his strength and barely got it to move. I had to put it on over my head and then squeeze myself in and out, which was a total pain. Otherwise, it was a great dress!

Loved this dress! Classy elegance.

This fit great, super comfortable, only issue was this was really long, so plan to rock a train if you're a shorty!

Too Casual for Formal Affair

This dress is really casual. It could be worn to a casual wedding or other event, not suited for a black tie affair. Also, the dress I received was heavily worn. The inside of the gown is peeling and it was overall not in great shape. Also, the slit is so high that you could literally see my girl parts. I didn't wear this dress.
