I love this designer. Guaranteed fun / flattering / comfortable and always unique. This is easily a formal dress but when that event was cancelled I decided it worked with a jean jacket, brown booties and turquoise. Tada! Made of two layers and as mentioned by others, BOTH layers are sheer. Don't let that stop you. Its amazing and you can make it work.

I’m 5’1” and 110, I ordered an XS regular. The length was good with 4” heels, very flattering fit and the material was soft, even the sheer material on the arms. Wore it just off the shoulders. I would 100% order this dress again!!!

Rented for my step-daughter's wedding and wish I could keep it forever! The fit is fantastic -- really flattering. Honestly, it shows off your assets and hides your flaws (a tummy in my case) in all the best ways. It's long -- but worked fine for me with about a 2" heel. The sleeves are a little tight but didn't bother me a bit. Got a ton of compliments and would rent this one again in a minute! LOVED IT!!!

Fit was true to size. I used my back up size, should have been my original. Stretchy material was accommodating to curves. Event was a conservative cocktail dress, this was perfect. Only surprise was base material was more sheer than expected, a nude half slip did the trick. Arrived a day early, and drop off at UPS after was so easy. Would rent it again in a heart beat!

Love this dress. Got compliments from people all night, strangers came up to tell me how much they loved it too - it was perfect for a winter wedding. Was a bit sheer, but wore black spanx. Also say a little oddly on my arms - wasn't sure if should be fully off the shoulder or not... but figured it out. Loved this dress and would definitely rent again!!!

Wore this dress for an opera event. Bought black spanx to wear under after reading reviews. It was a lovely, light and comfortable dress. Ended up wearing the SM instead of XS. I think the XS would have been a snuggier fit but I went with my Dad so opted for a teensy more relaxed fit. Loved the dress and the length. I am 5’6, 115 lbs, 34A, 2 inch heels.

Extremely see through. Definitely prepare with putting another layer on under.

Nice dress! fits true to size. It would work for different body types size the fabric has some stretch but not tight. length just right.

My daughter rented this for me and I was very skeptical. I am 5’7” and typically wear an 8-10. The large fit perfectly and was a wonderful length. I wore black spanx and you could not tell the midriff was sheer. It slips over your head and has a little elasticity to it so it fits very well. I wore it up on my shoulders so a bra with straps was fine. It was a lovely dress, I would definitely recommend and would absolutely rent it again!

I've recently gained some weight, so I went up in the size. I'm only 5'5 so it was a bit long but I held the bottom almost like a queen, ha! Many compliments, perfect weight, stretch, simply beautiful.

This dress was completely comfortable, and the compliments were off the charts! I did wear a spanx body suit underneath it, because the midriff is sheer. But that just made for a slim line and I was honestly treated to compliments all night. I was SO sad to send this dress back. I LOVED it.

Okay, so it was sheer in the mid-section area but I wore black spanx and it was perfect. I'm 5'4" and wore 4" heels and it barely touched the ground. Great silhouette and shape for my five month post-baby body.

I am normally a size 10 or 12 in dresses because of my bust. I got the dress in a x-large which was perfect...it fit well through my bust, arms and waist and then flowed nicely from the waist down.

I liked this dress a lot. I had to wear bike shorts underneath as you can see straight through the lower half

I rented the LR and XLR for a wedding event and I chose to wear the LR. The XLR also fit but was a little too long in the front. There were some previous reviews about the sheerness of the dress that were valid. The top portion is not see through at all, but below the waist is questionable, depending on lighting. I ended up wearing leggings under the dress for cooler weather and you can see in the pic where my middrift is visible in the photo. I think this dress would also have been fine with some sort of spanx or slit underneath. EVERYONE wanted to know where I got the dress, tons of compliments. However, the dress is pretty poor quality. I wouldn't pay $75 to rent. Its maybe a $20 rental value? If you can get a discount price and prepare for underneath, its a good rental! I'm happy with the process and will definitely Rent the Runway again!

Very flattering, I look great in it when I am feeling thin and when I am feeling curvy. Very modest with some fun sheerness at the sleeves and hem.

This dress was one of the most comfortable formal dresses I have every worn. There are no zippers - you just pull it over your head. It is very stretchy and I got LOTS of compliments on it. I agree that it doesn't have the glitz of a formal dress but is very elegant. I almost just bought it to keep. Length was good with a midsize heel.

This dress was stunning! I got many, many compliments on it! I am 5'8' and 160 lbs - the large fit perfectly. I do recommend wearing a black slip underneath, as the dress is a little see through. I was so comfortable in the dress.

Was a very comfortable dress! The picture makes it look like it would be tea length, but it fell to the floor, with heels on. No zippers or buttons, just put on by stepping into it. Wore another slip with it, as the one in the dress was quite see through. Also wore a strapless black bra. Very stretchy dress, making it easy to size. I'm between a 12 and 14 and the XLR was perfect.

The dress was very comfortable and a perfect length for me at 5'6".

We went to a NYE black tie optional wedding and I was feeling body conscious, so I ordered this dress in hopes of feeling covered up but still looking dressy. This dress totally fit the bill and was so comfortable I could have slept in it too -- I would highly recommend!

This dress was hip and comfortable. You need a slip or to get comfortable with the ability to see skin -- which is actually kind of fun if it's the right event. This dress is more "cool" than expensive. I received tons of compliments! It's very true to size -- with lots of give.

This dress is the BOMB-DIGGITY! Fabric is light but very high-quality, and contains a good amount of stretch, which makes it skim your curves ever so gracefully! I'm 5'6", and I wore the XS, which fit my body perfectly and fell to the bottom of my ankle bone. The vibe of this dress to me is very 1950s Parisian, and it's so beautifully made that it DOESN'T look charicatured, unlike many dresses that throw off a vintage vibe. I wore a knee-length black slip under it, because the skirt & underskirt are rather sheer; there's also a sheer band on the torso, but that didn't bother me because the fabric is beautiful. You could dress this dress up or down in a snap. Rent it, you can't lose!!!

This dress is fabulous. The material is soft and light weight with a healthy amount of stretch. It does come with a built in liner to provide more coverage. Almost like a short and sheer inside mini slip. Not sure why one reviewer said it was completely see thru. I felt gorgeous and comfortable on this dress, its perfect!

The dress is thin, polka dots arefabulous but its completely see through so you would have to wear s black slip or black body suit.

Loved the fit. Comfortable. Timeless. Only complaint is that the slip in the bottom half is completely transparent - you must wear a slip!

I normally wear a 4/6, so I got the MR and SR. I ended up wearing the SR. A little tight in the shoulders, but a good fit in the busy. The dress is two thin pieces of mesh. It's very thin, and the wind blew right through it. Thank goodness I had a long coat and thick scarf. My legs were freezing, and the dress is a little long. Would be great for a summer event. Not good for winter.

I didn't end up wearing this dress --it was my back up but I could have been very happy wearing it. I am 5'3" and about 135 pounds. I could have worn this dress in flats and it would have been just off the floor. It is 2 layers and both are see through black but you can wear undergarmets to make that work. The dress was very comfortable and flattering. If you want to get your hair and makeup done before getting dressed, note that this is a pull over the head dress. I feel like this dress could be worn to a black tie event or a much less formal event.

Great fit, nice style but two layers and both are very sheer. My daughter pointed out that she could see my skin through the whole torso. Also didn't love that the lining layer ended above knee so polka dots stood out on the bottom.

Loved the fit. It was a full length on a short girl like me. It was lightweight and nice for a semi-formal event. I recommend wearing BLACK spanx under it because even with the extra layer, this dress is too sheer.

The material is light and very breathable. I didn't have a problem with it being see through. The length was great. However the dress made me look matronly - no shape to it. I may have needed a smaller size.

Unless you are looking for an outfit that shows off your underwear, YOU NEED TO WEAR AN OPAQUE SLIP UNDER THIS DRESS. I think a black bodycon dress would also look very good, or a bandeau and a pencil skirt? The dress itself is a few layers of very filmy material that is pretty but offers absolutely no coverage.
