This was my first item I received from my RTR unlimited selection and I was super excited as I had been eyeing it for a while! I wore it to work and a dinner - it was super chic and cozy. The fabric is a little metallic which isn't exactly perceived from the pictures - if it wasn't metallic I probably would have purchased it! Amazing dress!

Loved this dress. Dressed it down with a collared shirt and leather leggings to make it mate appropriate for daytime. Silhouette is oversized so it looks good paired with structured accessories.

I wore this dress to a wedding this past weekend and it was a hit. I paired it with some dark plum lip and the Ella Carter Phoenix Choker and it was just the simple touch the dress needed. The dress was more sparkly than the pictures lead on to believe so it was fun to be out on the dance floor under all the lights. Another review said the dress hemline looked unfinished but i'm assuming that is just how the designer wanted the dress to look as it is a little more contemporary than regular dresses and it was more than appropriate for the wedding. The only downside is that if you're a dancing machine, like I am, you will get hot in the dress because of the fabric BUT i'd highly recommend this dress for someone willing to take a risk and wanting to keep up with the trends.

I took "Federation Sorceress" as a compliment. Not for the timid, this is a very cool dress. It drapes and moves really well, and I think looked better in real life then in photos. It was a bit itchy, so i wore a tank top and fleece tights (I love fleece tights) under it. I wore it with boots, so I was very comfortable, and still felt pretty cool and stylish.

The dress has much more sparkle than the picture shows. Great to dress up or down, with legging or not. The material can be itchy, especially in warmer temps.

This dress makes for an amazingly different and edgy look. With that being said, I found it incredibly itchy and was scratching my chest all day. I typically have slightly sensitive skin, but have never had a reaction to fabric before. When I woke up the next day I had a minor rash on my neck which went away in about 24 hours. But as I said: worth it.

You must wear a shirt underneath so that it is not itchy.

This is a great dress to wear to work during the holiday season. It's got a little edge and a little pizzaz. The fabric is much lighter weight and shinier than I anticipated . It ran much longer on me than I thought it would be. I'm looking forward to wearing this next winter with tights and booties.

Although this looked stylish on the women pictured it looked like a tent on me! Even belted, there is just too much fabric. I ended up not wearing this piece it at all.

Loved the way this dress looked on the model AND me, but it was a wool dress that was unlined, so it was so itchy I couldn't wear it. The hem was also unfinished, which made it look cheap. I was disappointed in the quality for such an expensive dress. I returned it without wearing, but RentTheRunway is refunding the cost, so I can try them again the next time I need that "it" outfit.

The fit is flowy, and the asymmetry is fun. The material is scratchy, but I wore a tank top underneath and that was fine.

The dress looks like a bag when you take it out of the packaging, however, when it's put on it looks great! The length hit my legs perfectly and the long, slim sleeves gave it shape. It was super comfortable and very pretty.

As some of the other reviews mention, this dress sparkles! Personally, I really liked it. I wore it with a button down underneath, leggings and black flats with red lips and got several compliments. Yes, it's pretty big, but that's how the dress is cut. The sleeve length was perfect on me, so that was my benchmark for quality of fit. Would definitely get this dress again next winter!

This dress runs a little large, but the style is meant to be a little oversized. The fabric is thick and the fit is great. Very chic, but comfortable!

Had to wear long sleeves underneath due to itchy material. Very cute with boots and chunky necklace.

Fot the right body type, I think this dress is fabulous. It is very sparkly, which you cannot see this in the photo. I didn't wear...had planned to wear to church service on Thanksgiving, but felt it was way too much.

OK, so it's big and flowy. Looks good with a fitted jacket or vest, I paired with a motorcycle jacket, black tights and boots. It's definitely for the more eclectic girl, but I got a TON of compliments.

This was an item I had been eyeing and received it as one of my Unlimited rentals. The dress is very sparkly - had I known, I would have opted to rent earlier to wear to my office holiday party. I paired it with black leggings and pumps and it was still office appropriate. I received compliments from a lot of my coworkers! It draped well and was fun to wear. *I will say that the shiny fabric does make the dress a bit itchy - I wore a camisole underneath to help with that but the neckline was a bit bothersome towards the end of the day.

I am 5'9 & did not realize the big slit up the left side & wore tights- Besides that loved it!

I rented this and didn't wear it which is rare for me to do, but it was really just too sparkly for work and I got it at the start of the week. I work in a gallery and am usually game to wear things that are too formal or party-style for daytime regardless, but I also just wasn't that into the fabric, styling, or fit of this one. The fabric is quite sparkly and textured, it's almost like it's made out of tinsel, and it's a little itchy/plasticky feeling so I didn't feel like I'd enjoy wearing it all day. At the same time, though, the style of it was extremely casual in my mind - I would have been more into it in a cotton toile perhaps - as it was quite simple and unstructured across the shoulder and chest. On top of all that, I just think I'm over the handkerchief hemline - that's just a personal preference. So although it would be nice for a party or just a dinner or night out, I probably won't rent it again as the pieces didn't come together for me.

This is a metallic dress. For some reason, I didn't get that from the photos, but it is very shiny in person. The fit was very large and long - felt like a lot of extra fabric - and it is stiffer than I thought, so it didn't fall well. I think it is probably best suited for someone tall and thin; at 5'4", it just didn't suit me. If the fit is right, it is very cool-looking for a party or trendy affair.

This dress is an interesting one, but I ended up not wearing it. I tried - I tried it with jeans, leggings, and a mini, and then the weather got too hot to use it without some type of bottoms (maybe someone in the 20's could, but as a 40 something professional I just could not pull that off). The material was a bit scratchy even with a light long sleeve t-shirt under it. I imagine a very hip 20 something could wear this well with killer boots or heels, but it was just not me. Ended up returning it unworn with the rest of my unlimited shipment. The material looks much more sparkly in person than in the photo. And yes, SIZE DOWN as much as you can. It was very very big on me.

Unfortunately, I decided not to wear this piece. When I put it on, it took no shape and left me looking very grumpy and oversized. The material was much more glittery than I had imagined and not very comfortable against the skin. I love RTR though and won't give up!
