What a fabulous skirt! It runs true to size with room in the hips. I tried on sizes XS and small, which both fit but I was more comfortable in the small (pictured). I liked that the elastic band on the small wasn't quite as tight as the XS. I was actually surprised that this skirt has a tulle underlay, making it appear more full in person. Overall an amazing style. Achieve an edgier black-tie look by pairing it with a dressy crop top.

I am in LOVE with this skirt, and I felt very elegant at my law school's Barristers' Ball (aka law school prom). The fit on the waist was perfect and comfortable (although I do have a small waist). I think that I would call the XS true to size. There was a good amount of give in the elastic. The skirt is heavy in a good way -- there is some fluff underneath. When I first tried it on I said, "this is aggressive, but I'm doing it anyway." I thought I may feel a bit overdressed due to the volume of the skirt, but I actually did not. RTR was out of the crop top, so I paired it with my roommate's crop top from Topshop. I was worried that mixing and matching wouldn't work, but it was totally fine. (I just searched the Topshop website to include link, but the top was not there.) I am 5'3 and a half and wore 4-5 inch heels. The dress was too long, but I just did not care. I was tripping over myself and people had to keep a 1 foot radius away from me, but I was among good friends, and they tolerated it. I may have hesitated to take on the hassle if I had been going to an event that was less comfortable.

This was an awesome dress! Was a little long (I'm 5'6) so be prepared to hold it up while you walk

I got this as a backup and it was a beautiful and well-made skirt. However, I didn't like the elastic band at the waist.

The fit was perfect. I was the only one at my prom with a two piece dress. It is so easy to move in. The skirt flows beautifully in the wind and when you are dancing. I felt like a princess!

Maybe it was me, but this was HUGE and looked like I was wearing a tulle trash bag. Super long and awkward. Not for me.
