What a fun and EXTREMELY comfortable dress by Free People! At first glance, this style is not really something I gravitate towards but after putting it on and realizing how comfortable it is throughout the entire dress, it became a fast favorite! The material is stretchy, meaning that any bust size will work well and also if you have fuller hips, this should still be comfortable! Even better, the waistband is elastic! Can't wait to wear this for my next casual weekend!

I really like this. It's flattering and cute. I've worn it once and it's already loosened up a bit, so I might have to return it before wearing it a second time. The neckline is wide and will show your bra straps, and the dress might slide off your shoulder. It's kind of a fussy dress because I keep adjusting the neckline. I also added a belt because I knew the waist would loosen up over the day and not stay at my actual waist line. Size down maybe. I'll probably rent again!

Loved the stripes and colors of this sweater dress! It's thicker than I expected and the shape and slit in the skirt are fun! The issues I had were that the dress was hung by the inner strings and I felt like the neckline was stretched out more than it appears in other pictures. Also the waistband wasn't very tight. Wish it was more fitted! But adorable and got a lot of compliments!

This would be the type of dress I would love to come across at a vintage store. It’s thicker and warmer than it looks- I wore with lightly patterned nude tights and a big coat and was warm sub 30 temps. It’s a big oversized fit. Don’t bother if you are extremely petite even in the XS. I got the small and fit was spot on. One of those rare instances it looks better on me than the model as I have boobs and a butt, and both look good in this (plenty of room for big busts with a slight dolman sleeve). Overall a fun dress. Slit makes it exciting but might not be good for work. Buttons on shoulder not functional.

Very comfortable sweater dress, but slit and baggy sleeves made the fit a bit awkward.

This is a billowy sweater dress. It's not super flattering for curvy types and the slit is a tad too revealing for work especially because the dress must have been dry cleaned to create a fold in the slit making it even more revealing. It's comfortable and well made.

Got so many compliments and it was so comfy. Hard not to buy but it ran a bit too large for me to keep forever. Will he renting the M and seeing if it needs a forever home.

Great Valentine's Day dress. It's loose fitting but sits on my small frame. Color was vibrant and the material is soft. I received a lot of compliments. Will rent again.

I'm very tall, so this slit was just on the verge of being inappropriate for work, but I wore it anyway. Loved it, thought about buying it.

It is loose and stretchy but somehow still so slimming.

I sized down based on reviews and am so glad I did. It fit well in the waist and hips. The boatneck did seem a bit stretched out, so I was adjusted the shoulders a lot to hide my bra straps. Wouldn't be an issue if you can wear a strapless or go without a bra.

I loved the color combo of this one. I rented it for work and then dinner out. Wore it with camel colored booties. Overall, kind of baggie and large. Might feel differently if I had sized down but it was a little frumpy. Comfortable and cute overall, though. I might rent it again in the next size down. I did need a strapless bra with this one as the shoulders were wide set.

Really nice and well made. The body fit great but the sleeves are very puffy/billowy and I'm not a fan of that

I rented a large and though it fit, it was a little more slack through the body than I was expecting; more fabric is not always a positive thing, but overall it was a good rental.

I hate to give it a bad review cause I got a few nice compliments but the slit went high and the oversized fit just wasn't super comfortable. The colors are nice, the material is cozy, but not for me.

... the neck is wide, which means you're constantly pushing your bra straps to the side. Also the slit is unnecessarily high for a winter/warm weather dress, so I felt like I had to wear tights.

I did love this dress although i wish i were tighter in the waistline, the problem I had with it was I didn't know where to wear it - it was a bit too revealing (shoulders fall so bra straps showed, and slit was a little high) for work, and a bit too dressed up for the weekend. If you can think of somewhere to wear it I do recommend it!

comfy, soft, big and forgiving, but underwhelming

Huge on top, but body con on the bottom. The top was just sloppy looking while the bottom was more body con. I think it would be better on an hourglass or ruler figure. The big blue stipe hugging me across my widest part was not ideal. Live and learn.

I didn't wind up wearing this dress - it was very frumpy. I realized quickly that it wasn't exactly on-point with my style once I saw in-person.

Wore with a belt and it looked great--in the morning. By the time I got home the dress looked and felt really misshapen. There is a lot of fabric in the arms, and when the cuffs stretched, the arms just hung. Otherwise super cute.

I can usually get away with a large because of my broad shoulders. This dress is completely disproportionate between the very large top and the narrower bottom. Didn't work for me. Maybe will work for a bustier woman who has a narrow lower half.

runs big, I am busty with a smaller waist and thick thighs, I would go down a size. I am a medium normally in this brand, the small was perfect

I didn't wear this because it was way too big and looked silly on me since I'm only 5'5". I think if you're statuesque and can size way down, this will look amazing on you!
