All the reviews said this was wayyyyyyy too small so I rented the 2 instead of the 0 and it was wayyyyyyy too big. I have a small waist but very muscular legs so I figured it would be perfect and I was sourly disappointed

I wore this twice and received a lot of compliments. It didn't get 5 stars because it was too big even with a belt. Next time I'll get a size 2. I'm 5'2" and 102 lbs.

I had this skirt in my favorites list for a while but when reviews started rolling in I deleted that heart! The sizing appears to be lame so in spite of this being an obviously cute skirt people were getting frustrated with the fit. Totally understandable. Last week I went to the SF store to turn in a bunch of rentals including the dress I had on! I planned to walk out in some rag and bone jeans and a t shirt but alas the jeans were gone. I asked the stYlist to bring me every denim bottom they had in a 30/10. She brings this skirt in a 10 and 12. I grabbed the top one (12) and it fit! And it was cute! And I am not one to be butthurt that some designer is bad at basic math and f'd up their sizing, so I walked out in this skirt. What's more when I got home the spouse asked "how much to buy?" When I saw it was $24 it was a done deal. It's a great staple if you can overcome the sizing issue.

Runs small

I rented this for a canadian tuxedo themed brunch. I sized up and it was nearly impossible to get over my hips and the waste was very large.

I should have known better due to other reviews, but rented this anyways. I'm a pretty standard 31 or 12. And this was teeny tiny. Couldn't even get it past my thighs/over my butt. Too bad. Looks well made and it's so cute, but not for me.

Loved the look but definitely want a size or two up.

This skirt is beautiful but, it runs extremely small. It does not stretch at all. It's a shame.

Received mine brand new with tags. Love the side slits but unfortunately the first time I went to get in the car the left side ripped higher from regular movement. The length was good for a petite woman like me, but I'm not a huge fan of the mom-jeans style of the waist and back pockets. Also this was 'new' to RTR but it is already on clearance on the Free People website for less than this is offered to purchase with the RTR member discount. Meh...

Really tight in the rear. I usually wear a size 2-4 and I needed a 6 at least in this. Slit split higher during first wear because of how tight it was! Never happened before!

I'm not a super curvy girl but I am most certainly too curvy for these. I could not even get the skirt on all the way - the denim is so rigid and the slits are so high that even if you could manage to get the skirt past your apparently thunderous thighmeat the entire silhouette is ruined by the pinching. In order to wear this I would have to go up two sizes and wear a belt [yeesh]. My Cool-Girl-At-The-Greenmarket dreams were dashed, or should I say choked. Great for anyone with 0-9% body fat!

When I put this skirt on, my husband said that I looked like a sad farm girl! Ouch. I wanted it to be cute, but I guess that it wasn't me. I didn't wear it- sent it straight back.

Cut very straight so if you have hips, this is not the skirt for you

Meant for someone 5'6 and taller and not overly curvy. Almost came to ground and snug in hips and butt.

The skirt has absolutely no stretch and runs very small in the hips. The waist was fit fine omce I was able to squeeze into it but the skirt was way too tight and I could hardly sit in it. Wouldn't recommend for anyone thay has any hips or thighs.

This skirt fit like a bad fitting pair of jeans. It was very tight though the hip and front of the waist with a big gap at the small of the back area. I am 5'6" and 140 lbs with an athletic build. I normally go between a 6 and an 8. I ordered the 8. I could not wear this one.

Material is heavy and cumbersome. Comically small - should size up at least 2 sizes.

Website recommended a size 2 for me (I normally wear a 4 or 6). So I assumed it ran big, but still selected a 4 b/c I knew a 2 would be too small. But the 4 was way too small as well - it wouldn't even fit over my thighs / butt to put it on.

Horrible Fit! Much too tight in the hips. I couldn't wear it and I got two sizes up!

I am a 0/2 and zero was a joke. 2 was still uncomfortably tight. Size up twice! No give.
