It's the perfect oversized cardigan. I would go down a size from what you normally where because of this. I'm not a huge free people fan, but this cardigan is life.

This is a piece i'd never take off! Its the warmest, softest cardigan ever. I love the oversized fit, felt like a blanket. You could of course size down if you don't want as big of a fit, but I loved the big feel of it. The color is also so nice!

first off, i will say that like most free people items, it runs quite large. that did not stop me from wearing this everywhere! it was so comfortable and finding out it had pockets was a pleasant surprise.

I rented this for a weekend away with friends. It was perfect for the occasion. I wore it with leggings. It is extremely oversized so not the most flattering but thats the look i was going for (like most free people clothes). I ordered a size smaller. Maybe could have gone down 2 size. Very comfortable.

If you need a sweater for a cold day -- look no further. Large, chunky, but still super soft. I tried to create a silhouette, but belting it just made it look more shapeless, so I left it as is. I was actually hot wearing it under my jacket. A great weekend winter sweater.

Nice color, very warm and thick sweater. However it is enormous even in XS, and sleeves are too long and puffy to fit under my coats. I recommend sizing down as much as possible. Could maybe work as an oversize top layer in transitional weather.

So warm and comfortable. I wore it to work a few times and it was perfect. It it a bit more casual than I usually like to wear to work but Wisconsin in the winter is cold inside and out and this sweater did it's job keeping me warm. Highly recommend but order a size down.

Too big

This sweater is so warm! The color is a nice dusty burgundy/cranberry, and the knit details level this up from a simple cardigan to something just special enough to be fun. It does run huge, and while I liked that in the body, the sleeves balloon in a way that makes them bunch up under my arms when I put them down. Still a good pick for a ski weekend.

I ended up just wearing this around the house. It was warm and cozy but too bulky to wear a coat over and it was freezing out. Pretty color!

I am usually a med to large so I went down to a M. Not enough. This is huge. Even with the intended bulky look it's too much. Get it! Just size way down!

Sweater is incredibly comfortable and the color beautiful but it is surprisingly heavy. Sweater felt a little too bug, like just too much material. Didnt lookthat greag on but at least i was cozy

Loved how cozy this is. Huuuuge oversized sweater (super long sleeves that bunch, but I imagine that's part of the point of this cardigan). Got a few compliments on this one. Nice, rich magenta/maroon color. Pockets were a nice surprise (though the sweater is so slouchy I was nervous about keeping anything but my hands in the pockets). Knocked off a star because it didnt fit under any coats (although I shoved it under a poofy coat, though it wasnt comfortable). Great for a transitional weather day, though. Weather in NY warmed up enough one day where I treated this like a spring jacket. Would probably rent again closer to spring or early fall.

Comfortable, but not the most exciting

It is just too much bulk and not flattering. I don't even think you could wear a bigger coat over this. It does have pockets but the pockets give it more bulk. Did not wear, but gorgeous color.

oversized I'm a 10 and the medium fit

Just not an impressive sweater. Super heavy, the yarn wasn't soft at all, it's shapeless, and not in a cute slouchy way.

This was ok. Definitely slouchy and a good color, but it wasn't as soft or cozy as I hoped. Also, the pockets were basically useless because of the placement and length of the cardigan.

it was not what i thought it would be

I liked the look shown on the model so gave this sweater a try for everyday wear and even bought a pair of Lucky Jeans with the fringed edges like in the picture. Unfortunately, the sweater reminded my husband of an "old lady" and it's super bulky sleeves were too large to fit into any of my winter coats. I ended up wearing the sweater only in the house, however since I work from home and it's quite cold where I live I welcomed being able to snuggle up with this big warm sweater around me while I worked on my computer. So, not as fashionable as I hoped though super comfy.

Way way way too oversized, even for an oversized sweater

Wanted to try something different with this oversized sweater, but it was way too big! I would recommend sizing down. I had a hard time styling this piece. Yarn was soft and has cute pockets. Great color in person

This cardigan runs very large. I ordered the S and assume an XS would also have been way too big. I couldn't wear it out of the house as it looked too sloppy.
