Love this skirt, its super comfortable and forgiving! The waist doesnt have any stretch so it seems to fit better a little higher on the waist. I loved the pockets and the pattern! And the split was really fun too and made it great for a super warm day.

Haha, as my review title implies, I felt really amazing in this skirt. I wore it with a black tucked tank and felt beautiful and stylish at the bridal shower I went to. It has a very high slit, which was fine for the event, but I wore it on some errands and felt a bit self conscious. Not something you could wear to work for this reason. I recommend!

Wasn't blown away by this when I tried it on but decided to toss it in the suitcase anyway. Ended up wearing this twice on vacation then purchasing it because I loved it so much!!! It shows a perfect amount of skin when walking and sitting giving it a bit of sex appeal mixed with extreme comfort. Item fit true to size.

What is not to love??? The skirt has beautiful colors, flows, fits snuggly on the waist and has pockets! I absolutely love the black underskirt. Flip flops were fine at my height.

I sized up to a 10 to avoid a too tight waistband and the fit was great. Easy to wear and pair with various tops. Long and flowy for us tall ladies!

The skirt fits pretty much true to size. I'm a size 4 normally and the 4 fit perfectly. I wore it with a blousy tank top tucked in and it was so cute. I loved the flowy-ness of the skirt with the high slit and the little mini skirt underneath. I wish i had a better pic, but hopefully this helps.

Awesome skirt. Has a fun surprise slit and pockets. It's a little long, if you're on the shorter you'll have to wear heels or a wedge. Perfect for a concert date. Would definitely wear again!!

Perfect for the balmy weather in Cuba. Big split in the front made it perfect. I'm only 5'2 so it does drag on the ground, I'll wear wedges next time. Worth buying!

This skirt is adorable with the high slit that shows the little underskirt when you walk! Too long so I had to wear platform sandals with it. Highly recommend this!

Free People does it again!!! I am in L-O-V-E with this flirtatious fun skirt and am already thinking of how I will style it, when I rent it again!!! It fits TTS - I wear a 27 in jeans and this fit {almost} perfectly, although there is no give. If you are leaning towards sizes, I suggest sizing up. I wore the 4 a tad bit snug, but think the 6 may have been too big. The split opens up to expose the black mini skirt underneath, for a cute and unexpected peek-a-boo! . This skirt is so sassy! It's true to size. I got a 0 instead of a 2 because it was the only one available. Next time I would go with my normal size (2). I wore this for a happy hour with my girlfriends and then a date night during our getaway weekend to Virginia. The black under skirt is tiny, so I used a safety pin close the slit of the long skirt.

This skirt was fun the slit was a unique element to an already vibrant look. There is a black skirt underneath that was a little short on me but the putter skirt was quite long. I wore flats with this but easily could have worn heels. Any shorter than 5'8 will need heels.

This skirt is lovely! I wore it to my sister's birthday party and received a lot of compliments. The pattern is even prettier in person- more like watercolor- than the photos show. I would have liked the fabric to have a little more stretch around the waistline, but I still felt very comfortable. Would rent again to dress up or down.

The same day I received it, I returned it. It runs very, very long. There was simply no way to make this skirt wearable for my height. I would love to see it in petite because it's a beautiful skirt. It flows beautifully, the material is soft, and the slit is classy. It fit nicely around my curvy waist. Did I mention how beautiful it is?

Wouldn't order this again, but it worked for an easy daytime lunch with friends. Hit right at the floor with a higher waist. There are pockets that get a little wrinkled and can add bulk to the sides for he skirt - which is already very fabric-y. Fits true to size.

I liked the bold print of this skirt, but Free People always runs super long. Had to wear platforms and even then it was long. However, it is tight in the waist. I'm very hippy and the black skirt underneath was tight so 6R might have worked better, but definitely not in the length. I'm torn on the slit. It's cute, but when windy, the skirt can really blow up. Many, many compliments from strangers though.

I really liked the fit and color of the skirt. I was the first one to wear this size (had the original tag). It fit true to my waist and was perfect floor length. Loved the pockets. Only downside was that I wore a longer shirt which then caused extra bulk ones with the short "slip" built in to the dress. I wish the slip was a little longer - that is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Fit true to size, Im usually a size 4/6 but have a small waist and larger hips. Had to pin waist a bit tighter. The pockets were annoying as not big enough to be useful but kept bunching up making me look bigger in hips. Was an ok skirt but i would not rent again and did not find it figure flattering.

I loved the fabric and the idea of this skirt. I felt it ran small, however I don't have a small waist and it's probably just not a good fit for my shape. The slit and pockets were in a peculiar place and I found it looked better if I turned it almost sideways. It was much shorter than I expected and I couldn't wear any heel with it. I didn't end up wearing this. I would recommend for a more petite build.

The Stats: -It’s so flowy and light, perfect for hot weather -It’s a wrap skirt, so the slit can go dangerously high if you’re not careful -There’s no elastic on the waistband. Maybe size up if you’re going out for a meal. -It’s a bit long but I am petite and didn’t have any problems when I wore them with 2 inch heels. The story: I RSVP’d to attend a friend's wedding and my ex, whom I hadn’t seen in years due to the bad break up, was also going to be at this event. Needless to say, I had to SLAY that day. Immediately I took a trip to the RTR store in SF. Normally, I default to trying on dresses for such occasions but none that I picked out were working for me that day, none of them had the umph I was looking for. I have mixed feelings about skirts, they rarely fit me or make me feel good so when the stylist suggested I try this one on I was reluctant. I took it back to the dressing room, put it on, and as soon as I saw myself in the mirror I smiled and started to twirl, and a little voice in my head squealed YAAAAAAAAS GURL!! I felt beautiful.

Super fun maxi skirt with a slit in the front that overlaps so it's entirely possible that you don't notice it unless the wind blows or you're walking fast. There is a thin black mini skirt liner underneath just in case the slit opens up. Needed to wear fairly high heels for the length to work. Overall, I loved it. Felt like I was floating :)

I ADORE this skirt. It sits high on the waist, and I am lucky enough to have a small waist so it fit perfectly. For people that have a thicker waist, you may want to size up. I am 5' 7" and the length was perfect, except while going up stairs, when I had to gather it or else I would step on it. The slit up the side is perfectly placed, even if it was a bit high cut. (There is a very short black underskirt.) The colors are lovely, it flows beautifully. I felt very elegant, but not overdressed wearing this on vacation. While staying in an extravagant beach house, I said, "I feel like I could own this house." The pockets could be a bit deeper, they will not accommodate an iPhone 7 Plus. I will be keeping an eye on the clearance sale for this skirt, as I would love to buy it, but Free People no longer sells it.

True to size, I typically wear small or 4 and wore 4. Flowy fit with POCKETS! Wore with a fitted cropped top and it was perfect at the beach.

I dont think i could love this skirt any more than I do. I NEVER repeat outfits but I have worn this TWICE this week. I paired it with a tighter cotton long sleeve black top (tucked in) and black leggings underneath with black booties. It is too cold for sandals and off the shoulder shirts here. I will say that if you dont wear leggings, you need to wear bike shorts or something because it has a split all the way up the front and when you sit down, the little built in slip rides up. I have never had so many people in one day tell me how good I look. I will be renting thjs again.

Wore to a Luau in Hawaii. After dinner I had to open the zipper on the side because I was STUFFED. Lots of skirt fabric so it swishes when you walk. It's too long for flats, so plan on wedges or heels. Did not have an issue with the slit opening when I walked ever, wouldnt have even known it was there.

Great for when you aren't moving around much as the underskirt part is a little short and the slit is high but great for a girls day
