Such great choice for outdoor engagement photos

I absolutely loved this dress. Although it was a little loose and the skirt was heavy like others described, it still fit beautifully. I got so many compliments and it has such a great bohemian vibe. Can't wait for another occasion to rent it again!

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and this dress fit perfectly. I ordered my normal Free People size and there was plenty of room for my small bump (and probably plenty for a larger one). Like other reviews have said, the dress is heavy so it's best suited for early spring or fall. I loved it and would definitely rent again.

I wore this dress twice. Loved it! It's a heavy dress so not for a hot and humid day. Fit great but it unbuttoned a lot. Wear a tank top underneath so you're not exposed!!

I wore this to a boho beach picnic - the style was perfect for the day! My favorite parts about this dress are the hook and eye clasps on the chest that kind of allow you to "choose your own cleavage" adenture; I went full throttle but it was nice to know there was a more demure option! Also, the tie waist gave me some accentuation of my figure, which was great to have with such a full skirt.

The first dress I was sent had a large stain, but RTR quickly sent me a replacement. I was a bit disappointed because I did not get to wear it for the event ordered it for, but I'm glad this dress is causal enough to wear it almost anywhere. The unique details on the dress make it extra special, and I may purchase this one since it fit so perfectly!

I did babe to wear a camisole under it as I'm a little bustier. Such a cute dress! Harder to get on/off with all the buttons but worth it

This was the perfect answer for an outdoor May wedding on what was unfortunately a VERY rainy, very chilly day. The floral pattern worked for the season, and I was hoping to find something tea-length so I wouldnt have to be lifting up a long skirt off the wet muddy dancefloor all night long. I wore a black leather jacket over this later in the evening and worked out GREAT. The long heavy skirt kept my legs warm and it was so easy to move in, while still being very cinched at the waist. I usually wear a 2, but decided to go with the 0 for a snugger fit around my chest - I found the 2 was a bit more slouchy up top. Overall a great find for the occasion!!!

Very low cut but my dress had three hook and eye claps in the chest and I did up 2 of them. I wore it with sneakers and a denim jacket in the day and heels and a leather jacket in the night. Really loved it and was surprised that my husband did too

I wore this dress for my friendsgiving. I forgot to take pictures so this is all I could find. But I got so many compliments on this dress, it might have to be a purchase! It cinches in around the waist, which is super flattering. The buttons up the back are a super cute detail. The dress was the perfect length with flats and this pattern is so perfect for any fall/holiday gathering. If you have any thoughts about getting it - just do it!! You won't regret it!

I wore this dress to a church function and received many compliments on it. Wore a tank underneath because of spaces between the buttons in the back. It was a little snug but not uncomfortable. It is lined and heavier than I expected. Will probably wear again before returning thanks to my Unlimited Subscription.

Pros: great cut and fit for bust. Length is just right for maxi. Doesn't feel cheap. Cons: zipper on side was a little hard to get up at seam(maybe could've gone up size and it would be smooth zipping)

The material is heavy, but the design is beautiful and flattering. There are buttons both on the front and the back which make it delicate and stunning. I felt beautiful wearing this dress and received so many compliments!

I need a conservative dress for a holy site in Israel but one that would be cool enough to wear in very hot weather. This dress is very heavy and you need a black tank top with it for proper classy coverage. With that in mind, I think it's a high quality dress! Great for a winery perhaps!

Got a bunch of complements in this dress! LOVED IT! It was super fun and perfect for summer everyday wear. Material is a little heavy but it didn't bother me. Buttons are hard to button in the back though! Definitely need someone to help you out to get it on. Would definitely rent this again!

I am 5-5 and the dress was the perfect length with wedges. Fabric is heavy, for a breezy rooftop party, I didn't feel like it was going to blow away :) Dress traveled well, just a quick touch up with iron to look good. Received lots of compliments. My only issue was top eye/hook was broken, I had to rustle up a safety pin.

Loved the dress. The fabric is pretty heavy. So I wouldn't recommend for a hot summer day. On the plus side- I didn't have to worry about it blowing up in the wind.

Such a lovely, flowy dress. I felt really comfortable and would definitely rent this again! The hooks/buttons in the front and back don't close it up completely, there are little gaps in between. I wore a black strapless lace bra underneath to cover everything and that worked great. The smallest part of the dress is right under the bust and is not stretchy at all, so if you have a wider ribcage you might want to size up. I'd recommend this dress for sure!

Loved this midi dress, was perfect for a chilly spring day because the fabric is a heavier weight. I wore with ankle booties and was comfy in this dress all day. I do think it ran a bit small in the natural waist so if you have a wider waist I would size up. I'm 5'10 and this was the perfect length so shorter girls beware this dress may be too much fabric for you (or turn into a maxi)

Rented this for a formal rehearsal dinner. LOVED the dress so much that I'm debating buying it. I'm not usually a long dress person but this was an amazing choice. I felt like a princess and conservative around my boyfriend's family. The fabric was rich, the neckline adjusts with three individual clasps, and no need for a special bra.

This may be the softest dress on our site! This Free People number is perfect for the upcoming Spring months. This dress does have a ton of detail between the buttons on the front and the little tie on the waist. At 5'4, the Black Floral Midi Dress just hit me above the ankle. I would strongly suggest this for someone who is tall and looking for a Tea Length dress. Unlike typical Free People pieces, this dress runs very true to size or just a tiny bit large. Another great feature of this dress is you do not need to purchase any special undergarments for it!

Great looking but feels heavy in the bust area. Throughout the day, I was readjusting how the top of my dress would sit on my shoulders. It was heavy to take off too.

I got the 8 and 10. They both fit, although the 8 was better, it was missing one of the hooks on the chest so it was a bit low. But overall I loved this dress! Lots of fabric in the skirt. Absolutely adorable and comfortable.

I wore this dress at a bridal shower in late April, and it was perfect for the occasion. Since it was still pretty chilly, I appreciated the heavier fabric, and the floral details added a cute, springy touch, keeping the darker gray color from being too drab for a celebration party. The midi length was perfect for the weather without being too matronly, and I got quite a few compliments. I almost wish I had gotten an 8 as my backup instead of a 12, though, since the heavy material and deep vee made the neckline fall lower than hoped. I had to wear a cami underneath to keep from being too scandalous. There also are a million button hooks in the back that I originally missed, so getting it on and hooked properly ended up being a two-person job. Overall, though, I did really love the dress!

I loved the button detail on the back of this dress. Due to its heavy fabric, I would consider this dress more for fall. Definitely looks cute with booties. Probably a decent date night dress! The zipper was awkward for me to get up on my own (on the side and the fabric bunching caused some issues). The top was very low cut (read: it looked better without a bra) and had clasps to make it even more low cut. I'm not a prude, but I didn't feel comfortable teaching in this dress so I sent it back.

I wore this for a bridal shower. It's long (I'm 5'7) and it was almost maxi length on me, not midi. There's kind of a lot of fabric but it was good for a chilly spring day.

The dress itself is very pretty but the fabric is pretty thick and takes up a lot of room in a suitcase so might not be ideal for travel!

This dress was cute! I was a little nervous about it being matronly because of the length, but I'm 6 months pregnant and running out of options for fit. When it came in the mail I was surprised by the weight! It's really pretty heavy. SO MUCH more fabric than I realized from the photo, but it's not heavy on and luckily it arrived on the first day of fall and our first cool day here in Miami so I was able to wear it no problem. It wasn't warm. Maybe in the summer, but it wasn't heavy or warm on. I sized up because of my baby bump and growing chest and it fit great. I got quite a few compliments and thought it was great for work-to-dinner. It's pretty long - I'm 5'9" and it came mid calf but for my height that's fine. Even a little shorter you could probably pull off the tea length. Overall cute and felt comfortable in it.

This dress. Where to start? It's heavy. Don't wear this on a super hot day like I did! Despite the weight, it flows really nicely. And because of the thickness of the dress, it's super flattering! The buttons on the back are a b**** to do, I recommend doing them before you put on the dress if you can still get it on. The front is pretty low, and has little latch thingies holding it together. I was concerned at first, but they stayed done all day at work. I don't have much up top, so it was appropriate for my office, but may not be for those with larger breasts. I tied the string in the middle around my waist and then in the back to give it a little more excitement. I'm 6' tall and this went to mid calf on me. Would prob be maxi length on shorter ladies. Overall, wouldn't rent again but I liked it for work today!

On a petite frame, this dress hits the ankle which makes it versatile and heels was not necessary. The material is a bit heavier then the usual maxi dresses but still flowed when walking. The cut is a little low, still comfortable enough to wear without a tank underneath but I chose to wear a tank. Without a tank, the buttons in the back and hook closure in the front gives it a little sexy detail.
