100% true to size. I absolutely loved this dress and actually looked in to purchasing it. I got compliments from strangers all night long! Definitely on the shorter side. I am 5'8 and could not wear this without tights. I wore this to bars in NYC to celebrate a birthday. Would recommend!

Runs true to size for Free People, meaning overall I would size up (I'm a 0 and went with the 2). Super short so I paired it with jeans and also jean shorts for two different looks. The bell sleeves are fun and flirty and I got lots of compliments. Comfortable and easy to wear without a bra.

I am on the short side of 5'2" and I like short, but this was on the side of too short. It's so cute and I got so many compliments, but one wrong move and I was flashing someone. If you are over 5'2" BEWARE...this is a tunic!!!! I also had to wear a bralette underneath, because of the keyhole. This dress was perfect for a day of wine tasting with my girlfriends. My friends loved the dress so much they kept telling me to find it online and buy it. :) it is a little short so i wore some little biker shorts underneath to make sure I didn't flash anyone. But it was truly perfect and I may still buy it online.

Rented it for brunch in Chicago. Weather turned on me in the last minute but paired it with tights and boots and was still able to wear it and loved it. True to size kinda short but in a good way.... ;)

Loved this dress!! The material was so soft and comfortable and ran pretty true to size. Because of the length I went a size up for my backup, but I think I could have gotten away with sizing down. As everyone has posted, it is a bit short, but being 5'2" I thought it was a great length. The front is a bit low, but I was still able to wear a normal bra with no issue (and I'm larger chested!). I did feel a bit self conscious about the amount of cleavage (I thought) it showed, but for a country concert it didn't feel inappropriate. A cute bralette would have been the perfect solution, just beware the back has a cute keyhole cutout as well. Wish I had somewhere to wear this again before I have to return it!

I love the pleats in the dress. The cutoff in front of the dress shows a little bosom but not too much. It is a little short so must be comfortable wearing it short. The color is more brownish than orange though. Love this! :)

LOVED this dress! It's supe short (I wore black tights) but it fit me like a glove. I'm very busty, but have a small waist, so dresses are normally hard to fit on me, but this fit perfectly . It was so comfy, fun and sexy (the keyhole!), and I was getting compliments on it all night.

I'm 5'2 so the fit was spot on. I wore it 3 ways, with nude suede closed toe wedges for a family event, with Taupe platform booties (pictured) for brunch, and lastly with matte black platform booties and a high double bun for a funky look out in the City.

Definitely renting this again. It was too short to wear as a dress. But it made an adorable tunic!

Loved this dress so much I wanted to keep it! That said, I'm 5'1'', and this dress was definitely very short - even on me (which rarely happens). If you're taller than 5'3'', I'd stay clear of this dress unless you pair tights/flat boots with it. If you're petite, it's a gem! Had to use some fashion tape to secure lowcut key hole in front. Overall great rental!

This dress is absolutely adorable and very unique. Loved the rust color, pleated skirt, bust/neck cutout, and the bell sleeves (though difficult to eat and go to the bathroom with!). I'm 5'2 and the length was perfect for me. As a petite girl, I found that it ran true to size. Because of the low cut neckline, I wasn't able to wear a regular bra. I ended up going bra-less but felt self conscious the whole time. A U-plunge bra would work well with this dress.

MY NEW FAVORITE RENTAL! I love everything about this dress! It's very flattering but does run a little on the smaller side. I typically wear a size 10 and the size 12 fit me perfectly. I would definitely suggest sizing up for your back up. This dress works for any cup size and can be worn with any standard bra! This style is very fitted at the natural waist but allows for comfortable room at the hips. There is no stretch to the fabric and the length was a little longer on me since I am only 5'2". If you are taller, this will be a mini length! Pair with nude wedges for a cute boho look!

This dress was okay -- not my most favorite from Free People, but still interesting. The waist hit me at sort of a weird spot; not sure if that's how it is supposed to be or not. The weather got a lot colder after I ordered this, so I ended up wearing a long sleeved shirt underneath, and also a black scarf. And like previous people mentioned, it is short! I wore it over black skinny jeans.

Super cute dress but it is SHORT. I got a size up hoping it would help, but I still had to hold it down often to make sure I wasn't flashing anyone. Might be ok for someone shorter than 5'5 or with tights, but just a heads up for taller girls! Also, you cannot wear a normal bra with this as it plunges in the front.

At 5'5" this was WAY too short as a dress but made it work with white shorts! Great look for walking around. The details on this piece were unique in the sleeves and neckline. I wore it without a bra.

I wanted to like this dress, but it has a very odd fit so I'm equivocal about it. The sleeves have this ballooned out detail that I think would be cuter if the arm opening weren't so big. it's a bit low cut so beware! You may need to wear a cami underneath. It's also pretty short. It was short on me and I'm 5'0", so if it's short on me I can't imagine what it would be on someone else! Overall, I wouldn't rent again.

Super short on me (5'6) so I wore as tunic over jeans. It is also super low cut so I had to wear a cami. I wore to a dinner theatre and liked it but not my favorite top. It was soft and comfy and a good fall look.

I loved this dress! It is so fun and unique. I'm really short, so the length wasn't a problem but taller girls might need to wear some shorts or leggings underneath. If you have a C cup or larger, be prepared for some serious cleavage. Not in a bad way, just be aware. :)

Let me start off by saying... I am a Free People LOVER! This dress is not sized like a typical Free People piece. I bounce between a 4-6 and the 6 fit perfect, but if you are on the smaller size in the bust area, the top may be a little big on you. I am a 34C/D and the top fit me perfect while wearing a demi cut bra. The dress can be a little short, but I wore it with a pair on tights and thigh high boots and it was a GREAT look! If you are worried about the open part at the top, a lace bralette would be a great addition. P.S the sleeves are a little long!

The dress fit amazing. It is short, so I wore tights with boots and it looked super cute. I also wore a wool hat and Kendra Scott earrings. The outfit was super fun and free loving.

I'm usually between a 4 and 6, and I'm so glad I ended up ordering the 6 after seeing reviews. It was definitely short however it did cover everything appropriately (5'4). Ordered a size up based on reviews. Didn't need a size up. Ended up being a little big. I would order true to size. The length was great on me.

This is so adorable... love the color, florals and unique cutout neckline. I ended up wearing it a few times and got so many compliments I decided to keep it. It is great dressed up with heels, down with boots and can be worn with or without leggings. As a warning, it is short and the neckline is low... might border risque for any one tall or busty, but you can easily add leggings or a lacy bustier if you want to make it a bit more conservative.

So, I technically wear a 6/8 but I am busty, based on the reviews I ordered a 10. I could have worn the 8, but I am glad that I got the 10 because the dress is very short is you are taller.

This dress was very cute! It's very out of my personal style but was perfect for the event I was going to. The material was lighter than I expected and the cut was shorter than I expected. These two factors together made me a little self-conscious that it would fly up if a stiff breeze came by. I'm pretty short (5'0") so if it was that short on me any of you long-legged ladies may want to think twice.

The dress length was great for someone shorter (I'm 5'1"). It wasn't all the way down to my knees, but I could bend a little without having to worry about exposing myself. The dress is very boob-y if you're on the larger size (32DD), but it didn't show my bra so I was perfectly ok with it (but I wouldn't wear it to meet the parents or anything!). The sleeves are very loose at the ends, and make eating pasta at an Italian restaurant a little difficult so I opted to roll them up to the elbow, but they stayed fairly well once rolled. Waist seam hit at a flattering place.
