Defiantly has a loose oversize fit to it. Fabric was a bit heavier then expected but perfect for a cool summer evening.

The fit is VERY large. I am normally a Medium but I got this in the XS and it was still super roomy so definitely size way down especially if you are smaller on top. Loved the pockets, sleeves, and flow. Intricate Victorian pattern was perfect for the Renaissance Festival that I attended. I was very tempted to keep this one!

Length goes above the ankles, so plan for your shoes/feet to be seen!

I am obsessed with this dress and I wish I could wear it every single day. While it may not be the MOST FLATTERING dress in the entire world, it was SO soft and comfortable. Rather than tying the ties on the side like intended, I tied them in the back to give the dress a bit more shape. I wore this dress twice in the four days I had it because I loved in that much.

Runs on the larger size, typically wear a medium or large but easily fit into a small. It cinches to give you shape. So comfortable!

This dress was perfect for our Fall engagement pictures. The material is a bit heavier than your typical maxi dress and slightly low cut. The length was perfect for me since I'm only about 5'2. Loved how feminine it was. Seems to run pretty large.

I wore this dress on a vacation in Napa, CA. It was a little overcast, so the thicker material was perfect. I loved the fact that you had a lot of control over the fit. The dress has ties around the waist so you can synch it up to show off your waist, or wear it loose and comfy. You also have control over how deep the "V" goes in the front, it is controlled by a series of hook and eyes.

I wore this dress 4 times in a 2 week period. It was perfect for my weekend getaway, girls' brunch, and date night! I thought about buying it, because it was so easy to wear. I got tons of compliments from people of all ages every time I wore this dress. It was a little low cut, but I still felt comfortable because the length was so modest (and I have a fairly small bust size). It's perfect for transition into winter or spring, because the material is a little thicker and it's darker in color. You can wear it with booties or strappy sandals. You can't go wrong!

This dress is versatile and comfortable.. The adjustable ties on the sides make it cute for almost anyone. I wore it at 6 ft and 170 lbs.. This is my 15 year old niece, 5'6 and about 130 lbs in it, too. It is very well made and makes you feel like Janis Joplin... Works great with sandals and hobo bags, as I wore it, a la 70s, Or hipster with chunky boots and a floppy crochet hat and scarf like Becca did.

This is definitely a comfortable dress but there's nothing really special about it. Size way down- I wore the XS and it was still big. Good for spring weather!

It's large, it dragged the ground in flat sandals and I am almost 5' 7" but I loved the colors and flow and received lots of compliments. If I owned it, I'd wear it all the time. Perfect for picnics, more formal affairs with fancier shoes. Add sweater and wear late into the fall.

So, the cut of this dress is VERY "Pride and Prejudice" but the fabric is flannel- so it is flowy AND cozy. That said, I can see why all the preggo reviewers like it- I am not pregnant and frankly I felt it made me look a little "with child." Overall, it was cute and great for a warm early fall evening, just a little too Empire waisted for my taste.

This was a perfect dress for a February baby shower. I was 20 weeks pregnant and felt pretty! Fabric is thick, not ideal for warm weather! Definitely runs large in bust!

I wore this dress on a day trip to Sonoma and was really happy with it. I'm 5'4" and the dress came to about my ankles. It had 4 strings around the waist and I'm honestly not sure if I tied them together properly, but it worked. The dress is loose fitting and extremely comfortable, especially after a long day of eating and wine tasting! It's worth noting that the loose fit makes it not so flattering in photographs at certain angles. But if you're just wearing for a fun, relaxing day out I'd definitely recommend it. I'm considering purchasing so I can wear it more often!

Definitely runs big but that's part of the fit. Not super long but doesn't look terrible on a tall. Great styled with a long necklace and gladiator sandals. Perfect for in-between fall weather. I only gave four stars because of the quality. This has def been loved a lot and the clasp was missing so I had to use fashion tape.

This dress is so comfortable. It looks massive, and at first I didn't think it would fit. But once you tie the belt strings, it actually looks really flattering on thin framed people! The fabric is pretty thick and warm. Love it!

Runs very large! I typically wear a size 4 and wore an XSR in this dress! It definitely is the style of the dress, but because the tie waist is optional, it fits very large, with a lot of extra fabric - size down! This boho style is great for everyday and can work for all body types depending on how you wear it. The material is thicker than expected but is perfect for a cooler night or evening outdoor summer party! The length is great, but may be overwhelming for anyone under 5'3. Fun style!

Cute dress that has potential but it was too short on me at 5'8", making it not a maxi and not a midi so just an awkward length. Really light fabric though so it would be great for summer.

I really liked this when it was not on me. I am 5'5, and because the maxi was near the model's ankles, I figured it would be a true maxi for me, but it was above my ankles. This would not have bothered me, if I liked the rest of the fit. I think this style is really great if you're slender, and smaller busted. I think the flatter the dress lays on you, the better. Because I am fuller busted, the top part of the dress was up too high, and it made me look boxy and shapeless, and the waist doesn't cinch as much in person, as it looks like it does on the model. On the right body type, this dress really would be so great! It is very cool and laid back. The fabric was a bit stiffer than I expected, but it was nice and thin for a cool spring through fall look!

This dress has a whole lot of patterned fabric. I love Free People, so I was very disappointed with this dress looking like I had stolen a moo moo from a grandmother. Considering how big it was, it was also awkwardly short.

So weirdly short. I'm 5'5" and it hit me 6inches above the ankle--not in the right place to be considered a midi...and definitely not a maxi.

I rented this for a groupmuse that I hosted. It was perfect. Super comfortable to move around in and you won't feel "tight" in it because its just not that kind of dress. Received plenty of compliments and would recommend!

Loved this rental! Wore to the Florida Keys in April. Fabric is soft and medium weight. Length felt perfect to me. The skirt does have quite a bit of fabric, so I belted. Would absolutely rent again!

I loved this dress, but one of the ties was broken so I didn't get to wear it. :-( Pattern is even better in person, and it's nice and comfortable. It's big, but then it's also meant to be. The ties would probably help with that. The length of the small was perfect for me (5'6") hit right as it does on the model. Just sad I didn't get to actually wear it.

This dress runs large, so definitely size down. That said, this is the most comfortable dress I have ever worn. I loved it. The length is perfect for shorter ladies. I was able to wear the dress with flat sandals on. Just note, the dress is navy blue, not black. Very boho chic.
