Im probably one of the few non pregnant people to rent this dress. I wore it to a mother/son country hoedown dance. It is this material. If you are going to be dancing it isnt very breathable and gets pretty warm. The dress is very low cut so i wore a tank underneath. It is forgiving in the waist which is prob why many pregnant peoole gave rebred this.

Other reviews are correct that the arms are a little snug, but was able to make it work and fit great at 30 weeks pregnant. I've gone up a cup size but that wasn't an issue. High quality material. Bought this for post baby because assumed it wouldn't fit, but when the other two dresses I rented were stained and not great quality I tried this one and was really happy that I did!

I wore this at 32 weeks pregnant for my baby shower and it was perfect. It showed off my belly without being overly form-fitting around the middle. I felt very pretty and got tons of compliments! It is rather low-cut, so I used a bunch of fashion tape to hold the dress securely against my chest. The dress is also a bit thin, so it was really important for me to wear a slip as well. I was really confused as to what size to order given my pregnant body, so if that's your concern I provided more info below. My thoughts on sizing for pregnant women: Pre-pregnancy I was about 125 pounds and I have put on ~20 since getting pregnant. I probably would have worn a size 0 or 2 pre-pregnancy and wore a size 2 for this event. Most of my weight gain has been in my thighs, hips, and belly rather than my rib cage/bust. Since this dress really only hugs you in the bust/rib cage area, I didn't end up needing to size up by all that much (if at all). If you put on weight in the same locations as I have, I'd recommend ordering your normal size and one size larger for your backup. If your breasts have grown significantly or your weight gain hangs out around your rib cage, I'd recommend ordering one size up plus two sizes larger for your backup.

Have rented this multiple times. Fun with boots. Very low cut but also great with a cami underneath if needed. Love this feminine dress!

I wore this dress for Fall family photos and it turned out perfect! I rented a size 0 and 2 and I was so scared because reviews were all over the place. In the end, I could have worn either side, but since I'm small chested I felt the 0 was better since there was no chest gap at the top. The photographer even loved the dress and asked where I got it!

I usually wear a 4 pre-pregnancy, I ordered this in 4 & 6 due to reviews... I agree, arms are tight, however, I ended up wearing the 4 because it had a little less fabric in the skirt, showing the bump off more! I wouldn't recommend this dress without a bump, it doesn't have much structure. I was nervous about the cut being a little low, I could see right down the dress- but you wouldn't be able to tell from the photos! Overall super happy to have rented this dress! Beautiful detail.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and the size 4 fit really well. The color is a bit more cream/brown in person.

GORGEOUS DRESS. I’m one of the few reviewers who isn’t pregnant, and I rented this for my bridal shower. This dress perfectly matched the theme (bohemian garden party), and I was over the moon and didn’t want to return it! As soon as I walked in, everyone gushed how much they love my dress and how beautiful it is. I truly did feel like a bride to be walking around in it! The material of the dress is great quality lace. The color is darker than an ivory, looks more champagne or dark ivory (which went well with my skin tone so I didn’t mind). At 4’11, 34B, 130 lbs and an athletic build, the dress fell to midi length on me with 4” heels. I’m really teeny so I figured this would be the case, and I actually like this length on me and it fit the theme so it all worked out. The size 4 fit perfectly on me, but the SLEEVES WERE IMPOSSIBLY TIGHT. I couldn’t squeeze my forearms through, so I had to opt for the size 6. Athletic gals beware, if your arms are buff you must size up! Aside from the sleeves, I absolutely love this dress!

I rented this for one of my baby showers. Fit great... I wasn't used to having such big breast so it showed a little more than I am used too! Great bump dress!

This dress was very comfortable. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and thought for sure I would have to wear the size 6, but the 4 was perfect around the waist and arms. I did have to wear a camisole with the dress because how low the front was. I received so many compliments of how great the dress looked. And at 30 weeks pregnant you want to feel good and this dress was perfect.

The fit was perfect. It was way low cut and showed a LOT of cleavage, but it worked for this shoot. The texture looked great in photos and could have been styled many different ways.

I rented this for my maternity shoot. The 4 fit well all around my body aside from the arms, they were slightly tight. Nothing I couldn't handle but considering I rented this for a shoot I wanted to be able to move freely. I ended up wearing the six and it was still a great fit! This dress has such beautiful detailing and I was worried that it would look to matronly for my age but that was not the case. I am 31 weeks pregnant in the photo.

This dress was very comfortable and great to wear to my baby shower at 34 weeks. I sized up to the 8 due to the arms being a little tighter than I liked in the 6.

I've been eyeing this dress ever since I've joined RTR. I wore this for a Family Pictorial where we all wore white. I wore a size 8 but I usually wear 10. The arms were a bit tight but there was room for stretch. I had to pin the chest area as the dress showed cleavage and I opted not to wear a tank top to save on space in the dress. The dress is super romantic. It's more of beige than white. I love it!!! I would rent again if an occasion would come up.

This dress is amazing! I got it to wear for a maternity photo shoot, and also wore it for a baby shower that same weekend. The dress isn't maternity, but the skirt has lots of fabric that made it perfect for my growing belly. I felt beautiful in this dress!

I wore this for my baby shower, I was 34 weeks. This dress fit great in the stomach area, it wasn’t tight and flowed great. The bust was a little tight on me. I am a 36DDD right now, prior I was a 34DD. I was a size 6 pre-pregnancy and I wore the 6 this time. I could have worn the 8 (had I ordered it) and it might have made the bust and arms a little looser but the 6 still fit great. I felt very feminine and beautiful in this dress!

Perfect non maternity dress for a baby bump! Empire waist was perfect. Wore it in december for winter white. Had to go 2 sizes up from my pre pregnancy size due to larger breasts and ribcage.

Wore this for our Engagement photos, and it was everything I wanted. So comfortable, and fit in the smaller size that I got. They honestly smelled a little musty when I pulled them out of the Rent the Runway bag, but that didn't last long. The color is a much deeper cream in person, but photographs a little lighter. I love this dress so much, that I'm just waiting for it to go on sale, so I can buy it!

OK so I might be the only non-pregger to wear this but it was perfect for a country-themed party! Deep v neck balanced out the full skirt and made it chic. Fabric is gorgeous and so much prettier in person. I kept this one and she's coming with me on my next trip to Nashville for sure!

It is very low cut so I wore an under shirt. It fits like a glove although the zipper did stick a little and I was scared to pull it too hard. The size two fit me perfect and it is bump friendly. I couldn't have picked a better dress.

I rented the dress for my baby shower and I it was so pretty! Comfortable for the whole day and fit perfectly. At almost 38 weeks pregnant and having gained 40lbs... I wore a 4 and I'm regularly a 0. Runs a little big.

I'm not sure why the site is not letting me update my height and all of that. I'm 5'10 and weigh about 150. My bust size is a 32DD. I felt these measures helped me choosing the correct dress size since get nervous getting cloths through the internet.

I wore this for my baby shower at 36 weeks pregnant. I was between a 6-8 prepregnancy and the 8 worked for me, if a little showy with the cleavage. If you're self conscious about that I'd suggest wearing something under it. It flowed very nicely over my bump and was very flattering, disguising other places I've gained some weight.

I ordered the size 6 and 8. I ended up using the 8 since the dress has no stretch, and fit perfectly with me 32 week bump. I usually wear size 4-6 and I am 5'7. Be careful with the sleeves as well; no stretch at all, so I am glad the 8 fit on point, being I am a bit muscular

I am tall, so this dress was quite long, but I loved it. If you are small chested, you may have issues with this dress as it is larger in the chest area. I ended up safety pinning because it was too low cut for my taste. Other than that, it was a wonderful dress!

The dress was perfect for a wedding on the beach. It is a low cut dress so be prepared to go without a bra or wear a cream colored tank under the dress. Would definitely rent this dress in the future.

As others pointed out, it is quite tight in the arms and across the back, which caused me to size up. The 4 would have fit perfectly from the bust down, but everything upwards needed the 6. The dress was comfortable and beautiful. I hated to send it back.

I wore this for my babyshower and it was PERFECT! I got many compliments on it. very comfortable. My only complaint is that most of the rental dresses I've been getting lately, have a smell to them. I febrezed it, but I still felt a little self conscious as I took pictures close to my friends. I'm normally a 2/4 but with my pregnant boobs etc, I ended up wearing a 6.

Wore this dress for my maternity photos at 27 weeks pregnant (+25 lbs) in my pre-pregnancy size (0). The empire waist and flowy bottom makes it very easy to wear with a bump. It is also the perfect cream color that I was looking for. It is a tad longer than I prefer but looked nice with heels. The lace is beautiful and looks high quality. I was worried that the neckline would be too low but I used some fashion tape rather than wearing another layer underneath. Overall, beautiful dress!

I'm 5'0 and oh so petite. I wouldn't recommend bust women unless you like to show.

The size 6 fit me, but seemed a teensy bit tight, so I decided to try on the 8 to see the difference. That's when I noticed that there was actually a hole above the zipper on the size 6 that was right under my armpit, so I decided to just wear the 8 instead. The lace was very nice and the length was very appropriate for church, but I had to wear a slip under because if I didn't, by boobs would have exploded out of the dress which would NOT have been ideal at church (see pics). I am apple shaped, but petite in height, so the dress came pretty close to my ankle, but that was fine. I'm not sure how to request "short" dresses or if one was even available in this style. Overall I like this dress and felt comfortable in in after I put my slip on.

I absolutely loved this dress, and I got a ton of compliments. It is so pretty in person: a true ivory, not tan like some other reviewers stated. It looked delicate, soft and rich. The fit was perfect, though it is VERY low cut. I pinned it about a half inch up from the base of the v just to make it slightly more modest and you couldn't tell at all. I usually wear between a 2 and a 4, and the 2 looked better on me, but that might be because I am small on top. Basically, it was true to size. My only problem with this dress is that I can't keep it!

Pre-Pregnancy I could squeeze into a size 4 if the dress ran a bit big but size 6 always fits me better (unless it runs too big). I've only gained 15 pounds so far and all in the belly. My circumference at the time I wore this dress was 39 1/2 inches all around my waist at belly button level. The fit was a bit big in the bust (I'm still 34D). Thanks to other reviews I bought a lacy cleavage cover to wear with it; all the ladies thought it was part of the dress because it blended so well. I felt very pretty and comfortable; got lots of compliments about the dress. I proudly told everyone I got it from Rent The Runway. Hope this review helps others. Enjoy!!
