The skirt can be long so wouldn't recommend if you're on the shorter side. It's also pretty high waisted.

This skirt is very very comfortable but not a bit of room. It's a true pencil skirt. I even had trouble tucking my top so I left it untucked and tied it in the front. It is the perfect skirt for work in the fall!

Loved this skirt for work! It made me look tall and skinny! The material is slightly thick and has a nice stretch that with smooth you out. Pattern is classic plaid, perfect for the office. Yes the slit may be a bit high - and I'm even petite - but it wasn't an issue for me. Just throw on some opaque tights and boots to class it up! I felt well dressed and confident in this.

I am still thinking about buying this skirt. I wore it to work, out with my husband and for some holiday events. I am a pretty consistent size 28 and the 8 fit perfect. It does have a good bit of stretch, but I would suggest getting it lightly larger. It has seams down to front that would not be flattering if they were pulled too tight. Overall a really great versatile piece.

This cute skirt fit nicely and was long- enough for a tall girl. Material had a some stretch making it easy to move in. Liked the slit side but might be a little high for some workplaces. Tempted to buy it but the colors are more muted than I might prefer.

I absolutely loved this skirt. Pretty true to size/slightly small. It's a bit form fitting but slightly stretchy, making it pretty comfortable. I wore with a knit black turtle neck & high black boots. A navy or burgundy sweater with brown boots would look great too. For the office, the slit is a bit high, especially when sitting. I wore for work anyway & slid the fabric over when needed. I received compliments on it & plan to rent again

Ended up skipping the event I for which I had this in mind, so I didn't wear it out. I liked it, though! It's a bit on the snug side, but it does have some stretch. The colors are muted but very pretty. Might rent it again for another occasion.

I loved this skirt so much but sadly had to send it back without wearing because it was tight across the hips. It has some stretch but don't count on it to accommodate pears because when the skirt stretches the slit points in. Would rent again in size 12.

The waist was a bit big and the slit was pretty high, worked well with tights.

As others noted, the slit was way too high for the conference I wore this skirt to -- but I wore it with a big sweater on top to compensate and just decided I didn't care. I wouldn't recommend it for work if you have any sense of shame.

The slit was too high for me for work, I was constantly tugging the skirt down. It was too tight in the hips (I normally am a size 6, but this was an 8!). Other than that, I loved the fabric and pattern of the skirt.

The slit is a little high, so would not recommend for work unless you wear tights underneath. It does not have a lot of stretch so don't plan to wear this for a huge meal (like I did for Thanksgiving!) unless you have the room.

This skirt is very cute for fall. However it is more fitted than the model photos suggests, and the slit is pretty high - mid to upper thigh. I rented for work but it was not appropriate. Ended up wearing it out in the evening for dinner.

i saw other reviewers say it ran small, so i ordered 2 sizes larger than what i typically wear and it was still WAY too tight! renter beware! it's definitely a super cute skirt though, so i'm planning on renting 3 sizes larger so i can actually wear it out!
