I rented this for a snowboarding trip to Breckenridge Colorado. When we arrived the temperature was at -15 and with basic layers I did not feel it. The jacket was very warm and, from what I could tell, water resistant. The style made maneuvering easy and I was also easy to spot in the snow which made all my wipeouts a scene. I would definitely recommend renting if not buying.

This is a great jacket for a ski vacation. I packed my regular ski jacket in case this one didn't work out but it was GREAT. One issue if you're planning on wearing it on the slopes -- there are only two pockets and they're not great. Fortunately, I've got a billion pockets in my snowboard pants so it wasn't an issue for me. I wish RTR had more ski gear for rent because this was my best use of their service yet.

I am OBSESSED. This is my favorite rental. It kept me warm while wandering Portland in 30 degrees, and the look is so goofball fun. It hits short, so it looked real dumb with a long cardigan underneath, but that was the only downside. It's also mad puffy so don't think you're going to look svelte in this puppy.

I loved this jacket. It was fun for everyday. I also wore it on the mountain. Worked well enough.

This jacket is so comfortable!.. It's difficult to see in the photo, but it's massive. I want to wear it for comfort, but as I live in Colorado- I have plenty of comfortable layers.. Its just not so cute on my body. I think with leggings and snow boots, it would be a great option for a winter casual layer-- it isn't waterproof so you wouldn't want to actually wear this snowboarding or skiing.. I'm sending it back because even though I love the sleeping bag/cloud feel-- I don't like looking like I just left the campsite wearing my gear.. :/ I'm not thin enough for this to be cute. If you're slim af, it could def work for you.

I wore this skiing and it worked perfectly. It's very warm and waterproof enough (I don't think the corduroy stripe is waterproof, but that wasn't an issue). It fits big enough to be able to fit a sweater underneath, but it's not very bulky (as far as ski jackets go). It was super cute, and I'd rent again.

This is a fun coat. I didn't end up wearing It too much because it seems A bit much. But when I did i got compliments.

This is super warm and super cozy. But I ordered a medium because it's the only size they had and it absolutely dwarfed me and yet was still very cropped. I loved the colors and the coziness factor, but I should have ordered an XS realistically.

Wore this to watch a marathon in mid-50s weather and I was never cold. The arms are very wide, but it's not meant to be a fitted jacket. It is slightly cropped, so I don't think it'd be best for colder weather.

I rented this for a ski trip, but it was way too puffy (I felt like the hunchback of Notre Dame). I didn't end up packing it for the trip and didn't wear it.
