I wore these in a 27, which is my usual jean size in most brands. They fit well, if slightly snug in the thighs. The cutouts at the hem are a fun, fairly subtle twist on cropped black jeans. These feel like a staple. Definitely recommend.

I am usually a true 29 and these were a little bit too snug on the thighs and butt. Cute style though and nice sturdy material!

I figured free people would be small on me so i ordered a size up. I should have stuck with the 28. The 29 was fine and I wore these a couple of times but they were loose and they would have been cuter if they were tighter. Great cut out details, love a high waisted jean! I will rent again in my regular size.

They are so cute, and the crochet edges at the bottom are really cute with wedges. They aren't as dark as the stock photos look (potentially from being laundered) they're more of a faded black, but that worked fine for me.

Does not have much give but i loved these jeans! i normally wear a 27 but i think i would go up to a 28 if i rent these again.

Love these high waisted cut out jeans. I may very well keep them. Raw hem and cut outs give these the perfect amount of uniqueness that makes them way better than your standard distressed black jeans.

Fit so well cute and trendy

Fit perfectly. Slightly loose fit but not baggy. I am also 5 7 so I feel like sometimes cropped pants can look weird, but they look SO good with the Kate Spade coat from RTR and a pair of metallic open back slider mules!

I have 28" waist and 38" hips and the size 28 fit perfectly. The pants came down a bit lower on my legs than shown on the model, but they still looked great.

These had some stretch in them so they were super comfy I usually wear a 6/8 I have muscular legs and found size 30 a little too big shoulda sized down to 28/29. Go great with cute slip on Sandals and a cute alternative and/or update to leggings and jeggings that I usually wear.

Although a little longer than expected, i really liked these jeans. Only downside is that they stretch a lot through the day.

The cutouts makes these fun black jeans for the summer. Unfortunately, after about an hour of wear, they started to stretch out and give me a jean boner! Size down!

I thought I would love these but they weren't flattering. The 28 fit and I could probably have worn a 27 but the denim was thick and bulky making me appear wide at the hips. I also didn't care for the look of the black denim. It was a bit faded. The bottom cut out is cute but it looks more on the distressed side than a cute pattern.

Didn't wear because too long in the crotch for me. Really liked the bottom detail. Sad these didn't fit.
