Pros: I wore this to an outdoor family reunion and it was 100 degrees and this dress was perfect. It was light, flowy and casual yet detailed and I received a lot of compliments. It hung just right and was comfortable. I also wore it wine tasting and really is the perfect casual summer dress. It’s not too short and fits in for any day occasion. I loved the pockets and I would buy this dress if given the chance. Cons: For me, I found it was too revealing on the side of the dress and maybe because I’m a C/D cup it showed too much side breast for my comfort level. It may fit better on someone with a smaller chest size. I had to wear a racerback camisole underneath, but I thought it still looked great.

The is a great everyday summer dress. The top run small. I wear a white razor back tank top underneath to avoid side boob exposure.

Best to go bra- less. Not long, not short. A more casual than dressy.

Hard to find a bra that didn't show, but otherwise a fun dress for summer casual.

Rented for a weekend out of town and wore it to brunch which is was perfect for. The dress is really lightweight and breezy. I did find that neither the XS or S fit me perfectly, I think my bust is a little too large for this style but I still made it work. I also wish the dress was more cropped like it is on the model, but I am 5'4 so this often happens with cropped maxi dresses. Still would recommend though! Color is beautiful and I also was able to wear it later in the day with sneakers for a more casual look, too.

Amazing maxi dress by Free People! Beautiful color and perfect for everyday. Super lightweight and comfortable. I usually wear a medium because of my height, but I wish I had ordered a size small because the chest area was a little large. Also warning, there is a little bit of side boob-age so it might be best to pair this maxi with a jean jacket. Overall, great dress-- I got a ton of compliments!

This dress is great! It is soft and is very versatile. Wore with sandals, wedges and tennis shoes.

This dress is a great summer dress for every day wear or for a casual summer party. Similarly to other reviewers I found that it was cut in pretty severely on the armholes so you do get some sideboob. However, if you use a sticky bra you can finagle it so that the sudeboob is minimal. All in all it's very cute and has a lot of flattering details!

the smocked top cuts in on the sides, so if you are between sizes go with the larger one. the fabric is really nice and the back has cute details. i was hoping to wear it but it pulled too tight across the chest creating an unflattering side boob situation.

Some of the reviews had photos that looked so cute with the side boob. I wear a 34DD and it literally didn't cover my nipples. I had to pin it in 4 places and wear a tank top underneath just to prevent a wardrobe malfunction. That said, it's super soft, flowy and cute, and it might work better on gals with less chest.

this is the second free people item ordered that was factory cut lopsided at the shoulders and chest and the print was also off center. the arm holes are way too big for a small chest...not because of the side boob. i love side boob and this was on point with that. But the front center just dragged down which then caused the waist to fall below the waist and below the belly button instead which makes you look like you have a pointy stomach from the side.

The fabric is really soft and the back of the dress had interesting detail. I wore without a bra to show off the fit and open buttons in the back. The body of the dress was short on me (I have a long torso). I would order up a size if you have a long torso although I was worried that doing so would make the top too large on me. I ended up wearing with a jacket

Fit at top was tricky, scooped in too much and was not flattering. Back closures were tricky to close and keep closed.

I wore this with and without a bra...not very large chested so I normally wear backless, drapey things but this dress was cut with the sides too open for such an otherwise structured dress. It has a racerback so I wore my FP racerback lacy top underneath but it still didn't look great. Maybe if it was satin/silk and flowy it would make more sense to have such an open side.

Love the dress but I rented the medium and it was big. The back would puff out because there was too much fabric and I couldn't fill it in. For reference I'm 5'5, 155lbs- 36D I think the small would fit great and will try it next time! It does zip down the side but with the top being stretchy it's very forgiving so I will definitely size down a size and then I think it will be perfect! Material is soft, light, and does not seem to wrinkle easily, I did wear in my house for an hour or so while trying things to make the fit right!

Unfortunately, the front panel was way to narrow for my chest, and I'm fairly petite. I had side boob on both sides and there was no way to make this work. I was disappointed because everything else about this was great - fabric and style.

Could not wear this dress. Correct size but the cut of the dress was within an inch of my nipple on the sides by the armpit. Could easily have had a weird nip-slip.

Rented with unlimited. Pros - comfy, worked for second trimester belly. Big con - the chest is crazy...not too tight but cut so narrow that either half of your chest hangs out the sides or you have to layer something. I layered a gray tank and it looked ridiculous. I wore around the house because comfy by would not wear it outside. Poor design on this one.

its super cute on the hanger, and the material was great for a weekend in Nantucket BUT when I put it on I had so much "side boob" going on there was no way I could go outside. I could have worn it as a swimsuit coverup but I needed it for a cute "day" look.

This dress was unwearable in both sizes I rented. It was listed in maternity section and fit over bump nicely but was cut so narrow on the bodice that it would have fully required a tank top underneath to cover chest. I thought this was due to pregnancy but I had my sister try on and she experienced the same thing. Very disappointing because it's very cute on model and the fabric and color are great.

This dress was just a very strange fit. It made my bust area look huge and it was difficult to wear it without showing a bra. I couldn't wear it.
