Loved the dress. Just a bit more cleavage than I wanted for work. Love the dress though.

The dress is beautiful and super chic. The over-the-knee length makes it different while the slit on the left side relaxes the fit. The fabric is not as heavy as I expected, though that was good. Two caveats: 1) the neckline kept moving; when I managed to fix the shoulders, then my chest was too exposed, and viceversa. 2) it's very hard to sit down and not have the thigh slit expose most of your leg. I loved the sexy touch of the cleavage and the slit but they need constant attention.

tough dress for super curvy body types. the top / shoulders were too big, the hips/tummy area was too tight. the dress looked good and I got lots of compliments, but did not feel comfortable

Was concerned this dress would come out super 80s, but it was actually very cute and I got a lot of compliments. Only complaint is weird length of sleeves. A little too long, but otherwise liked it a lot.

Nice fit, a little large on the shoulders and the cut doesn't allow much room for movement of the arms. Different design, lots of compliments. Does run a little long, I'm 5'5 and this was past my knees.

True to size. I'm between 4/6 --tried on 6 in store and it was a little loose. Feels high quality, thick and snug. Main complaint is that it was baggy around the shoulders for me, as if my torso needed to be 2 inches taller. For me it gaped and slipped a bit in the shoulders. If you're taller or have a longer torso, you probably won't run into this.

I’d recommend and wish I could buy this! Very form fitting and very complimentary for your curves. I got compliments all night!

I LOVE this dress. I am hourglass and taller than average. This dress was so flattering to my proportions and my coloring overall. (Light-medium skin tone, very dark hair, brown eyes). I will wear this to work events that require a bit more WOW factor. I paired this with a metallic silver, slingback low heel shoe by Naturalizer, and some gold flower earrings from Madewell. Super modern but also very classic with the glen plaid. I am very comfortable in this dress too. MY ONLY CONCERN is that my shoulders were too small for this piece. I have no idea how other women seem to be able to wear it without significant tailoring. There was easily 1.5 or more inches in the shoulders that needed to be taken in to make this comfortable (I wore the aforementioned outside for a professional photoshoot for my company and we pinned the back/top to my frame -looked amazing.) I think this dress will satisfy your needs if you're looking for professional, powerful, and sexy all in one!

This dress fits in all the right places. Only downside is that I couldn't lift my arms over my head though - I think it's inevitable with cut/ shoulder style.

Nice for work but I think I may have looked like a flight attendant. I'm tall and this was a nice length though!

The dress was a little small in the waist but very large in the shoulders. I have broad shoulders, but this would probably work for someone with a longer torso. It also is quite low cut.

Cute dress I wanted to wear to a work event, but was too tight on my hips. No stretch at all.

The top was big, like others said. Like, strangely big. But not so big that I couldn't wear it. I definitely had to wear a cami under it, otherwise my boobs would have been out.

This is the most disappointing dress I've ever rented from RTR. If you have any stomach pooch, this dress will not work for you. The dress fit BEAUTIFULLY in the shoulders and chest areas but I couldn't zip it up because it tapered significantly in the middle. If I had gone up in size enough to be able to zip it, the chest and shoulders would gave been extremely baggy. Spanx didn't even save me.

I would rent again. PROS The fabric is a fun print for work. I love any RTR item that I don't have to struggle with the zipper. CONS The dress was tailored to be a little fitting, but not completely uncomfortable. HIGHLIGHTS This dress does not open in the front - thank goodness. I had worries that this would open while sitting during meetings, but if was perfect.

Received many compliments while wearing this dress. It's a true power dress. As other reviews have mentioned it's a little loose in the shoulder area but works well with a few safety pins. It's low cut but not provocative.

Rented this dress for work. Would have been super appropriate for a formal work place excepts the dress runs small for the body of the dress whereas the chest / shoulders area is quite wide.

I am 5'3" tall and it runs long I worn it with 5" heels.

This dress was great! I needed a tank top underneath so it wasn't too low cut for work. The fit was great in the bust (I'm a 34D), but it was a little bit too big in the butt and shoulders.

I loved this dress and wish I could have worn it. The shoulders stick out but not in a good way. I really needed the next size up because of my mid section but the shoulders would be too big on the next size up.

Very nice material and fit, only it if was at least three inches shorter. The model makes the dress appear shorter than it is. Even with heels I didnt feel comfortable wearing this to work and returned it immediately.

Do not get this dress for work if you have a larger chest. I had lots of room in the shoulders but very low cut. Would have liked it more if I wore it to a fancy dinner.

Sorry no picture! The top was very loose in the shoulders. I didn't realize it was low backed and quite low cut in the front as well. It could have been really pretty if not for the excess room in the shoulders/ chest.

Honestly this was unwearable. I thought it would be cute for work, a twist on two classics, but it was almost ankle length on my 5'3 frame, super tight in the chest, stomach, and thighs, and enormous in the shoulders with big tufts of fabric sticking out above my collar bone. It looked homely and 80s at the same time somehow. Not sure what kind of body type will fit this...
