Took another risk and bought this - final sale- sight unseen and designer untried. Great motivator not to get complacent with my tummy, because this is not at all stretchy and there's NO room for error if I want this to zip up (which I do). If my chest measurement were a half-inch bigger, I definitely would need to size up. Fortunately, flat chests do have some benefits! Lol

Wore this for a work conference, loved how stretchy and comfortable it was (I am very pear shaped and this fit true to size). Did not have to wear an undershirt, but I have a longer torso, so I can understand how others have to wear a cami under to cover the chest area.

With a black turtlrneck, over a white oxford shirt, and just as is with bare arms. Awesome each way. Not much give but skimmed my hips smoothly.

I loved this dress! I've been in between sizes lately and in the process of losing weight so I got to wear this dress twice in a month at different sizes. The first time I was a solid 12 and the second time on my way down to a 10. This runs true to size. Lots of the reviews showed a shirt under it for modesty and I was worried about that but I was able to get away without an under shirt. I did put a small safety pin in the wrap over V just to make sure I didn't gap open in a work meeting. The arm holes were a little large showing a fair amount of skin but my bra didn't show so I went with it. I got several compliments on this dress and felt confident wearing it. If I was at my final size in the weight loss process I would probably buy it but it's starting to gap now that I'm downsizing. The buttons on the front are decorative, not functional but there is a slit - it's very conservative which I prefer for work - and I'm tall so length can often be a factor.

I'm not that tall (5'4") , so it's a little on the long side for me, but I loved this dress! Fit like a dream and is extremely well made.

Dress was comfortable and the design is figure flattering. It could be a little too low cut for some offices, but I found it just fine. It is definitely midi length, so if you are shorter - it may not be the best for you. Liked it, but I don't know if I will rent again.

I can't imagine someone shorter than 5'9" wearing this dress. I loved it so much I bought it.! It hit my curves in the right places (with a long torso most dresses have a waste that is just a little too high). And it was quite long, mid to upper calf. If I was shorter it would be too long. But it hugged my curves without being inappropriate for work. The two fabrics and asymmetry made it interesting.

This was a fun dress to wear to work. The pattern is unique and different. The hem line is about mid calf and I wore with knee high boots and a blazer for work. Also the neckline is a bit low cut for work but I wore with a tank top no problem. Could easily got from day to night. Bit tight in the top but I'm busty and would probably fit well for normal chested girls. Waist was not tight.

hugged my body without being too tight. i have a tummy and this dress hid it well without having to wear spandex. the only negative is that i'm petite/have a short torso, so the narrow part of the waist hit lower on me than it should.

Wore to work the same day I received it. Ran a bit small, I ordered one size up and it was comfortable. Great transitional dress.

Waaaay too low for work.

Paired with a solid black turtleneck this dress was a good choice for work. I found the waist to be a little on the snug side, but otherwise a good fit.

This caught my eye bc it looked like an edgier outfit I could wear to work. I agree with the comment(s) that state the top fits perfectly/very flattering, BUT the bottom is a bit long (and I'm 5'8) and loose. If the bottom was a bit more fitted / structured I think it would be better. I'm still debating if I'd rent again. I did get looks of "oh that's different" (in a good way lol) and compliment. We'll see...

I sized up based on the reviews, and glad I did because the 8 fit perfectly through the body, while leaving some room (it was a tad roomy in the chest and armpits, but not offensively so). Overall the cut was very flattering, but I felt the length was a bit overwhelming for my 5'5" frame, especially when paired with a blazer. A great look overall though if you are taller or if it fit more snugly than it did on me.

I wanted to love this dress, but the top was way too big (and it fit my hips perfectly). The dress is stunning and I love the length on my 5'7" frame. Unfortunately, the top was big in a way that would have shown way too much for work.
