The dress fit great and I received so many compliments! My only complaint was that the dress was really heavy so I felt like I kept having to pull it up because it's strapless.

Loved the way the dress hit and it was very slimming! Only down side of the dress was the top was alittle big even with a bra on! Great dress for any special occasion!

This dress was perfect for our chilly and wet celebration. Worn to a black tie awards show. I was a bit disappointed in the beginning, due to some plastic pieces poking out. Luckily, my under garments protected me. Loved the heavy fabric and structure of the dress. Would rent again!

Weird pose photo to show why this dress didn't work... it is a nice heavy fabric for a winter event and the dress is pretty, but it isn't structured enough for my preference for a bigger bust. This pic is even with a strapless bra. I'm short and I can make the midi length work sometimes, but this didn't hit me at a flattering place and the side shown here gathers in a weird way. There's just a lot of fabric and it was too long on me.

I ordered both of the size 14 and 12 ended up wearing the 12. This dress was a hit I got a ton of compliments but this is after I had a complete meltdown because the dress almost did not arrive in time. I would have to say for renting a dress I would not do a strapless again. Due to the multiple wears of the stress and The boning for the support of the chest area of this dress and kept on flipping down and almost as if the top were to fold over, and I am not a small chested person. (38DDD) In conjunction with the weight of the dress it wasn’t a good mix.

Runs a little big so wore a size smaller than usual. The top ran a little big but I am really small up top. The detail made it a bit more dressy than a typical black dress. Material quality was great. Great complements all night!

I would typically wear a 6 but ordered a 4 since the dress is strapless & I wanted the waist to be snug. The dress was tight but since it was black, it still looked flattering. Probably could’ve gotten away with a 6 though. Loved the assymetrical hem—gave it a very unique, but dressy look. Overall loved the dress!

Loved this dress. It was actually my backup dress but I ended up liking it more than the original dress I rented! Not the most comfortable- there was a wire sticking out near the rib cage, i used bandaids to help prevent it stabbing me. Not a big deal, dress looked great and very flattering!

My first time renting and I was very impressed by the service and the quality of the product. I usually wear 12/14 depending on the designer and I had to go with 14 for this dress. It covers any mid- section insecurities you may have. Got many compliments at my co-worker's graduation party that called for cocktail attire.

Dress is classic with a twist. A little heavy but once its on you it felt fine sized larger at top, but so am I, smaller chested women may need to size down. Fabric was thick enough to hide flaws.

Soooo I'm 5'10 1/2 and I wear a size 4. I'm about 137 lbs so I'm small frame. My biggest concern was the length and the asymmetrical cut of the dress made it work. The only catch was that I'm a 34a. I didn't have a padded strapless soo although it fit snug, it wasn't my preferred snug. It was a ball and I didn't feel like wearing a floor length gown. Glad I chose this.

Rented this for a formal Christmas party. My best friend was jealous she didn't do the same and get a dress from RTR. I'm happy it came with 2 sizes. I normally wear a 4 but got a 2 just in case. The 2 fit perfectally. The only complaint was the boning on the left side of dress was poking out a little and stuck me in the side. Easy fix was 2 band aids over it and voila fixed. I danced in the dress from 730-11 with only a couple breaks for water. The dress never faltered. Thanks, RTR! I will rent again!!

Slightly large in top, could see it being hard to dance in?? I wore my "thicker" strapless bra and was fine. Again I wore for rehearsal dinner so not too much movement. The cut and layers makes it super flattering to all body styles!

I rented this in the 6 and the 8 and the 6 fit wonderfully. I never had any fear of it slipping down and the fabric felt expensive. It was perfect for a black tie optional because it wasn't floor length but was still formal and structured. LOVED IT!

Like all the other reviews, I will note that the material is heavy. I wore this on a warm evening and it was hot! But totally worth it for how great I felt in the dress. Very flattering in the stomach area and didn't have to wear spanx! My dress was a little big in the boobs, but I wore a push up strapless bra and that helped.

It runs large up top....I was pulling it up a lot in fear that I may be giving a peep show lol the zipper was hard to zip up. It is a very heavy fabric. With those few cons I still enjoyed the dress!

The dress is heavy! Heavy layers which can make your body look a bit thicker than it is. I’m 135 5’3” and just had a baby 7 weeks prior to this event. I felt pretty in it and it held my larger boobs in place, skimmed around the tummy (even with the heavy layers) and the length was good for a shorter gal. It was a black tie wedding on the rooftop of a hotel and thankfully the dress was heavy so I didn’t feel cold. I’ve had prettier dresses off here but would still recommend!

True to size, fairly long, I'm 5'9 and wore it with 4 inch heels, not exactly sure where this would hit on someone shorter. It fit well though, aside from the top, kept having to pull it up while dancing but probably wouldn't be an issue with someone with a larger bust. Overall would recommend, good in-between of a cocktail dress and long gown. The material was stretchy so it was easy to dance in, however it is THICK. Probably a better cold weather dress. Its strapless and I was still quite warm while dancing.

This dress was great! It's a very thick material so for winter events, it's perfect. The waist nips you in very nicely and ultimately went with the smaller size because it felt more secure on my bust. While I had more wiggle room in the 6, the top was more floppy, mostly because of the weight of the fabric. Felt sexy and classy all night.

The dress was super heavy. Perhaps the 6R would have been more comfortable.

It was a great fit but the dress itself is very heavy so I would suggest going a size down so it's tight and doesn't ride down all night.

I ordered the 10R and 12R (I'm usually a 10) and the 10R was too big. It was loose at the top (I'm a 36B) so I had to find a way to keep it from falling - tied some elastic around the waist and covered with a silk ribbon. The 8R would've worked way better but I'm still happy with how it turned out. Also the thick fabric makes it great for a winter wedding. Wore a pashmina over it.

This dress is classy and complimentary but it wasn't my favorite. I wore the size 0 and it still was a little lose at the top. I have a small rib cage and need a strapless dress to be pretty snug. I think this dress is true to size but the fabric is stretchy and that's why I had a problem with it. I put fashion tape at the top to keep it in place but the fabric was so heavy that it kept pulling on it which made the tape uncomfortable. Also, the boning on the top was poking through on the inside of the dress. I put 2 bandaids over it and that did the trick! Overall, I like how I looked in the dress I just didn't like how I felt in it. I think it would be perfect if you have a fuller figure. I'm pretty straight and narrow.

Dress was clean and classy looking for a formal wedding. Material is thicker and feels like it's high quality, but boning and zipper were stiff. The peplum detail was perfect for hiding an early pregnancy bump!

Fit very well, did not need to hold the dress up all night. A little boxy, but that might just be my body type. the fabric and make of the dress was very well done - the dress was a bit heavy but the material was great feeling.

Dress fit very well over my large chest which was a pleasant surprise. Longer on me because of my height but that was fine since it was a pretty formal affair. Material is very heavy so I did have to readjust the dress some throughout the night. Long straps inside for keeping it on the hanger so I used fashion tape to keep them down so they would not slip out during the event.

I wore this dress to a formal wedding at 18 weeks pregnant. It was amazing at hiding the belly. I am over 6 feet tall so I was concerned it would be an odd length, but it was actually great. My only complaint is that I am small busted and it kept on sliding down on the top.
