I should've listened to the other reviewer who said the head opening was too small. It was so difficult to get this over my daughter's head that she almost didn't wear it. Fit is true to size, maybe slightly small. She wore size 5. She's 3.5 years old, usually wears a 5, 42" tall and 41 lbs.
