I felt great in the dress and it was comfortable to wear on a long day as a bridesmaid. I liked the gathering under the bust as it covered my mid-section in a flattering way.

Normally an 8 and the size 8 fit fine. Took a little to get the last little inch of zipper up, but it didn’t feel tight at all once it was done. Got a ton of compliments on this one. I am an almost 5’-9”, 165#, athletic/muscular female. Very comfortable. I am small chested so this was also great without a bra, there was enough built in padding.

I was originally worried about the fit of this dress but it was absolutely perfect. True to size and the hem wasn't too long. The straps aren't adjustable so they were a little big on me! Received many compliments on this dress!!

Rented this for a #wedding here in Charleston. My husband wore a seersucker suit and people told us we were the best dressed behind the bride and groom of course. I love everything about this dress. Sweet and sexy, the slit was high but it worked, and I didn't need to wear a bra. I will rent this again! 10/10

This dress is really pretty -- tons of compliments on the color. The straps might have been a tiny bit long but the bodice is nicely fitted so it didn't cause any gapping. The slit is high and tricky when you sit, but otherwise gorgeous.

I was surprised at how formfitting it was. I didn’t have high hopes, as I just assumed it would be a basic dress, but I was shocked to see how great this color looked. I used it at a beach wedding, and it looked fantastic. It was a bit big on the chest, and I wish I could remove the pads, as they made the chest a bit odd with certain moves.

LOVED this dress so much, I would’ve bought it if I could! I don’t typically wear this color but man the cut of this dress was so flattering. I received so many compliments! I’m queen of the itty bitty titty committee so it was a bit big in the bust area but I had my friend pin down the straps to tighten it up a bit and it was perfect. Danced all night in it! 10/10 would recommend

it was between this and another dress for a black tie event and I chose the other dress. It was slightly lacking sparkle or shine for a formal event. But the dress fit perfectly and very easy to wear.

fit great, lots of compliments on color & style

The boning and cups in the bodice make this easy to wear, though I still wore a sticky bra just in case. The slit is very high while sitting, but looks great. I wore just under 3" heels, and the length worked well. The pleats cover up your stomach so the fit after eating is forgiving.

I wore this to a formal wedding and received compliments all night. I'm a true 6 in nearly every brand, 5'8" 145 lbs and I'm glad I went with the reviews and wore an 8R.

The slit and plunge make it just the slightest bit of sexy, but was totally classy for this black tie wedding.

This is definitely snug so don't be afraid to size up. The dress is lined and has boning to keep the shape. I loved the high slit and the color was great for a summer wedding. As other renters have mentioned, the straps are a bit long. It was a little annoying having to keep them up, but worth it since it was a stunning dress!

The dress color was perfect for a formal summer wedding! The straps were a little loose for someone who has a smaller bust but made do with it. Also a little long even with 4 inch heels but still a great dress overall

The bride specified "blacktie but make it fun!" This dress was a hit! Many ppl were in bright bold colors and I fit right in. I was so nervous this would not fit properly, thinking it would be too small... it fit perfectly! It has cupping inside, I did not need to bra... even though I am a larger natural (breastfed two babies) bust. I felt comfortable and confident. Looking back on a few dance floor pics, I probably should have worn the spanx to synch in my tummy but it was fine. Great dress, would even re-rent someday!

I loved this dress but it didn't fit me perfectly. Loved it enough to make it work anyway! The cups in the dress are pretty big, when I was sitting down I could tell they were gaping at the top. And the ribcage was very tight! I have a small ribcage, usually a solid 0 on top but had to size up to a 2 to get it to zip comfortably.

It’s a little long if you’re petite, but the slit gives it flare so you get away with the length. Otherwise, it’s a very flattering dress and I felt glamorous in it.

This dress was great and photographed really nicely. The fabric and structure of the bodice are quite thick and I was comfortable without a bra and felt like it flattered my mid section. Overall, we comfortable. The only con is that when you sit, the slit is REALLY high and I sort of had to gather the dress and fold it over so my entire leg wasn’t showing.

Very bright dress. Fitted at the ribs, forgiving everywhere else. Slit was sexy and made dancing very easy.

Rented this dress for a summer formal wedding and loved it. I am usually a size 6 and the 6R fit perfectly and was long enough to wear 4 inch heels (I am 5'7). The color was gorgeous, nice material, and the slit was in a perfect spot as well! Highly recommend this one!

The fit is great. You don’t need to wear a bra if you’re not super chesty because the material is thick and supportive at the chest.

Loved the look but the straps kept falling so make sure you have safety pins on hand. I lost a bit of weight before the event so the dress fit (after holding my breath) but worth it 😍

I wore this dress to a fundraiser that was a Hawaiian theme with Semi Formal attire. The color was perfect. Overall the fit was good, except it was large in the bust. I would have maybe fit better in a 4, but I typically order a 6 and 8.

Other reviews give fair warning about this dress. The color is gorgeous. The fit is great and it even hides the stomach area really well. Heels will keep it from dragging on the floor. I had to push the plastic boning back in a bit to keep it from poking me. And the slit is definitely high up. But I put my napkin on my lap when I sat and that helped. The straps are really long and kept falling so we used a bracelet in the back to pull them all in together. Problem solved. As everyone has said, the zipper is really wonky. I had to get help pulling it up and and down. Would I rent it again? I got this for a gala and it fits so well...but the zipper and straps...I might take it again if I couldn't find something that was such a flattering fit and fun color.

Didn’t end up wearing this because it was a little too small in the ribcage/underbust area, but I did really like it. I could definitely have worn it without a bra, which is very rare for me to say! Size up one and plan to pin the straps unless you have really tall shoulders, but if you size it right this would be a very pretty dress.

This dress was beautiful! Very well made. It runs really small so select your larger size and another large size. It made me look beautiful and showed my figure very well. I really enjoyed this dress.

I wore those for one of my best friends weddings up in the mountains in Vail Colorado. I love the deep cut on the left side because I was in a boot and wearing crutches. So it made it a lot easier for me to move in and breathe. It was very fitting and kept me warm most of the night. But of course the mountain cold had me putting on a sweater. I wish the straps were adjustable, as it looked like I was busting out at some times. But overall the fit was good and I liked the material.

I really liked this dress but I have a bigger bust and thought it was a little low cut and slit was high for a Catholic Church wedding, so I wore a scarf/wrap over my shoulders for the ceremony. Once we got to the reception it was fine but still felt it was a little revealing. Received lots of compliments and worked for a black tie optional wedding.

This dress is extremely long. I had to tape it even with heels.

Ended up going with my backup dress due to the color. It is almost a neon pink, very Prom-like. I loved the cut, very comfortable fit. But the color was a no for a black tie optional wedding.
