Perfect combo of structure and stretch. The background is light blue, almost light denim color. The belt is a bit awkward, I had to pin down the "wings" to get them to lay flat. Overall, very comfortable and flattering. Lots of compliments!

This was not the original dress I rented. This was the replacement because my post baby body wasn't quite where I needed it to be for my original. This dress was perfect, hid the areas I'm still working on getting back and looked great on! I'd absolutely rent it again!

My husband and I got married where we met, on Kauai! We knew not all of our friends and family could make it, so we had a party for his family in Northern CA. I rented this dress and absolutely fell in love! It fit beautifully. The material is super thick and very flattering. NorCal at the base of the Sierras can get really hot, but I was comfortable all day. Everyone kept complimenting me and asking where it was from. If I ever need another spring time special occasion dress, I will probably get this one again, especially since I've lost weight since then! Highly recommended!

I rented for summer wedding. I had one guy come up to me and tell me I was best dressed at the wedding. I loved this dress and would rent it again in a heartbeat. The bust was slightly tight, I go between a 20 and 22, but only had the 20 available.

I ordered a 20w and felt it fit true to size. I am VERY large busted and it was a little tight in the chest - as most things are. I like that this dress could be worn with a regular bar.

First! It was a second choice BUT I will be renting this same dress for another wedding I have coming up in August! I had another dress that came and absoutley did not fit it ran extra small! I am a 14 in everything I wear from a store but even with this dress I was a 16w so size one up regardless in my opinion! The stylist I spoke to told me all these designer dresses are cut smaller than we are used to in a "normal" store! I will tell you I did have to pay the difference for this dress which was another $20 dollars but it was worth it! I felt beautiful in this dress! As soon as I put it on my hubby was like oh you have to rent this again for the next wedding that dress looks great on you! The dress has some give and I could have worn the 14w but the 16w just gave me that little bit of extra room and ultimately was the one I felt most comfortable in! (Although the dress is just super comfortable overall) The colors are soft and complimented my dark hair and skin tone! I would say nude shoes look great with this too that's what I wore!

I know that this style of dress usually fits me well, and this didn't disappoint. A few people came to tell me they liked my dress. Like others have said, the fabric is a bit heavy, but it was chilly so it worked well. I would have been hot if it had been sunny and 80+ degrees and i was sitting outside.

So comfortable! But fabric is very heavy... Kind of like curtain material.

This dress is gorgeous. I rented for a spring wedding in Pennsylvania. It is a thick material that does have a little bit of stretch and give to it which is nice. The zipper is on the side. This dress was easy to put on. I've never been so comfortable in a nice dress before, my bust (36DD) wasn't too tight and the silhouette is super flattering. I felt so beautiful and confident and was sad to take it off after the wedding was over.

I wore this for Easter church and brunch. It was beautiful in person and I received a ton of compliments! I will probably rent this one again for my niece's graduation! Loved it!

I wore this dress for a beach wedding that took place in the fall. The fabric is heavier than it looks, but that allows for the skirt to look the way it does. It fit very nicely. Might be tight on someone with a larger bust. I got a lot of compliments, even by strangers. It was easy to accessorize ( I did nude and gold) and I felt comfortable the entire night. The zipper is on the side. I would rent this dress again.

Fit was spot on. Very comfortable. Heavy fabric, which wound up being perfect for the event (outdoor wedding on a windy, 60 degree day!) ... It kept me warm! Endless compliments on it. Beautiful color and nice shape. I would happily wear it again!

The dress looks fantastic, however it is very tight in the armholes and I took that note from others reviews so I got a size bigger then I am accustomed. The fit was perfect then. The weight of the fabric is relatively heavy satin, which offers a great shape but was the worst in the heat (I'm willing to hurt for fashion though so it worked out) . You barely need spanx or anything super tight on the undergarments as the skirt really affords you a lot of room. The length was fantastic to dance in and while the weight of the fabric was terrible for the heat it was a plus when it came time to boogie down and not flash the world.

Pros: great shape for an apple type body, comfortable, the cleavage was on point. The stylist was exceptionally helpful with picking out a new dress seeing how the first one was too small. Also she was very patient with me while I was freaking out. Cons: heavy material which actually was a pro this particular day because with my luck I had my shower in the coldest day in July.

I'm pregnant and was nervous about sizing especially around the bust, but this dress worked perfectly and tastefully hid my growing chest and accented the bump in the sweetest way due to the bow around the waist.

Sized up to the 16. I could put it on with out using the zipper, so that was good, but the bust ran small. I have a bust but not overly big for my size.. Overall very comfortable. Very full skirt that I loved wearing. High waist and cute belt. It really was like playing dress up in this dress. Loved the fabric and the print. Worn it for an outdoor wedding and fortunately it was not 100 degrees. Not sure I would ever buy this one , thanks to RTR was certainly fun to wear.

The dress was very beautiful in terms of the color and floral print, nice ice blue color. It was well fitted with a tight waist and flared skirt. The front had a plunging neckline so not suitable for a more conservative affair

Wore for spring flowers themed auction. Cut has a bit of a 50s feel to it. Heavy fabric was great for night event and didn't wrinkle but could be too hot for a daytime or summer event. High-waist and then flared, which is great for apples; may also be bump friendly up to a point. No pockets but very comfy and worked great for my event.

Wore this to my baby shower and everyone LOVED it. It looks amazing in pictures, and flatters your figure, showing off your belly when you want to and is stiff enough to cover any unwanted bulges.

LOVE POCKETS so this was not only comfortable for my size, i was able to keep my phone and lip gloss on me at all times!

The dress itself is awesome! The color and style were perfect for a semi-formal rehearsal dinner I had to attend. The chest definitely runs small - my 18W (regular size) was really tight, and they didn't have a 20W available so I took a chance on the 22W. It was a little loose, but wearable. Got compliments all night!

At the last minute, only my back up size of this dress was sent, rather than my true size. It was a near perfect fit, but I definitely needed to size up to the 18. I adore the cut, and it was very comfortable (other than the part that was about an inch away from zipping!) and I will be renting it in the larger size again, for sure! Very forgiving to bulgy baby curves, and fell just to my knees, would have been perfect for a summer outdoor wedding!

This dress is lovely but does run small. I am pear shaped and wear a 16 in dresses and tops although I am an 18/20 in bottoms. I'm not very busty or small chested, I fall somewhere in the middle and I absolutely needed to size up. The backup 18 I ordered fit like a glove on top and the skirt length was on the shorter side because of my larger bottom half and long torso. If modesty is a concern for you and you have a similar body type to mine, keep that in mind. Now, as for the dress itself, gorgeous. The print is beautiful. The fabric feels heavy which I loved because it keeps the shape of the dress and adds security if you worry about wardbrode malfunctions while dancing or if the event is on a windy day. However, the weight and fabric is going to make you warmer so any experience involving the sun or lots of dancing will be intensified. The bow/belt is both cute and functional if you want to cinch it in a bit. I 100% recommend trying this dress. Side note: I had to request the next size up from my backup because I wasn't happy with the overall condition of the size 18 but had my heart set on the dress. Customer service was amazing and overnighted me the dress I ultimately wore. It was on the larger side but the weight of the fabric and the belt helped the fit and I had a bit of a larger skirt which I didn't mind terribly but the extra fabric in the front made it look like a maternity dress. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because of the fit on top. I only wanted to judge the dress by its overall quality and sizing accuracy. Everything else I shared was based on personal preference in the hope that the information provided helps anyone who is on the fence about this dress.

True to size

This dress is adorable. Zipper located on side of dress. Zipper did not go down all the way it was stuck. I was afraid to pull zipper all the way down in fear it will break.

Material is not forgiving. I'm glad this was my back-up dress (and that my first choice did fit!). Area under arms are really tight. The material also does feel a bit worn out, so it may be time to retire this piece.

Too small

I ordered this dress for a baptism where I was the godmother. The dress is beautiful, good quality, heavy fabric, retro feel. However, in my opinion, it runs very small in the bust. Most other RTR dresses I have ordered, I've worn in size 14, sometimes a 16 if it's fitted in the chest or low cut. This dress I couldn't even get the 16 to zip at the boobs. The dress would have been beautiful if it had fit, but if you're more chesty, definitely order a size up.

The fabric was extremely thick. The top was very small, I would have had to size up at least 2-3 sizes to be able to zip it but I do have a 38G bust. Did not wear.
