The middle of the daisies was a very cool gold shimmery. From the site listing I thought the daisies would be purple but they are actually a blue. I wore this comfortably and modestly without a bra. No spanx needed as this fabric did not cling. The fabric felt like a light denim. It would probably be hot at an outdoor summer event. My husband thought I looked beautiful and I received multiple compliments. I'm 5'1 and the dress fell to a little below my knee. Stayed there when I sat down too so I didn't have to a lot of adjustments between sitting and standing.

This is a great casual summer style! The mesh on the shoulders is very soft and comfortable. I would suggest wearing a strapless bra, though, since you are able to see the straps. The material is a littler heavier than expected. It feel like it's similar to denim, but there is a satin lining underneath that is comfortable. The style does not fit snug onto the body, so it would be great for any outdoor events. The length was right at the knee, so I think it would work well for petite women, as well!

It was fitted enough at the top that I did not have to wear a bra (and you can tell from my size that I NEVER go without some support). I was glad to skip the bra because the top is very sheer and bra straps would have looked bad. You can see from the pictures that the liner of the dress was hanging out a little in the front, I didn't realize that when I put the dress on. Overall it was very comfortable and I got lots of compliments. I think this is a great RTW dress because the detail is very memorable, if you are at a function where you will be photographed like I was, it's nice to wear the dress once and send it back.

I rented this dress for a wedding. I loved the daisy pattern, but the armpits were cut way too low. My strapless bra was visible when I lifted my arms, and I didn't feel comfortable enough to wear it to the wedding, but I did like it enough to not send it back. I wore it to drinks the night before instead where there wouldn't be any dancing. The dress runs a little small in the bust (I'm a DD and had to size up for the bust), but the hip area runs true to size. The fabric was thicker than I thought it would be but felt comfortable except for the over exposed armpits.

This dress is beautifully made! Heavy almost tapestry like fabric with a pretty gold thread woven into the fabric. The color of the flowers is definitely more navy than purple. The bodice is extremely fitted (to the point that I didn't need a bra I was that snug), and it flares out just enough from the waist to create a flattering silhouette.
