Bought this a size bigger than usual based on reviews. As soon as it came tried it on. Fits perfect including the mesh. It's a lovely dress on, very flattering. I love the body ruffle - slimming. I'm 5'7" and the dress hits right above the knee. I have an October evening wedding coming up and this is perfect. Thanks RTR. I'm very happy.

I rented the 14 and 16 first and the 14 was tight on my arms but fit everywhere else! The 16 was better on the arms but was a little looser than I wanted. However it had major snags & holes! RTR sent me another 16 and there were a few snags but nothing noticeable! Overall I enjoyed the dress! #nye2015

The dress has very comfortable as it is a knit. The arms were a little tight, and are more of a mesh material than they appear in the model picture. I normally wear 18 or 20 but wore the 20 as it was a straight skirt as I didn't want to wear any Spanks, etc... I felt it was a great and interesting take on a black cocktail dress. I am short and the dress was not too long or too short- hit right at the mid-knee.

Great fabric & detail. Can't see the front stitched down pleats in the on-line pictures. They emphasized the line of the dress. The sleeves have the same stitched down pleats - only smaller. Wasn't sure the sleeves were going to fit but no problem. Hope to rent this dress again.

I wore this to a formal cocktail party for work, and it was just the right style for an event that was a major mix of floor length gowns and funky designer-y looks. The arms are definitely snug, and you have to wear a strapless bra due to the mesh top, but you can tell the quality is top-notch. The earrings I'd ordered to go with it were damaged by the previous renter, so RTR sent two alternative pairs and they were great!

This dress is so beautiful. It runs small (especially in the sleeves) so size up! I'm glad I ordered a larger back-up size, or else it would have been pretty uncomfortable to wear. The material is thick and well made. The sleeves, however, are more of a net-like mesh- which isn't what I was expecting. But overall the dress was great!

This style runs extremely small! The mesh sleeves were incredibly tight and I couldn't even pull them up in my regular size. I suggest sizing way up! The body of this style is very stretchy and I definitely think that shapewear is necessary.

I did not end up wearing this because it was a little too tight, especially in the arms. It was beautiful though

Did not fit - sleeves were tight, too short and tight through middle.

Didn't love it on my body type. I have larger arms and apple shaped body.

Arms were too small, could not wear the dress.

I expected the sleeves to be narrow so I ordered up one size and then ordered a backup dress two sizes too large. Based on reviews I expected the body of the dress to be large, once I got the right size to have the sleeves fit, but thought the dress would hang straight like a sheath. I had to go up two sizes to get the sleeves to fit. But the body of the dress - both in one size up and two sizes up - is not a sheath. In face it has a ruffle placed in just the right spot to try and provide a flattering waist. But the ruffle looks very odd because once you size up to get the sleeves to fit, the dress is so large there is no reason to try and flatter your waist or hips. Based on all these reviews, seems like it is time for RTR to retire this dress permanently.

I was very excited to try this dress for a company holiday party and then very disappointed when it arrived. The sheer neckline and sleeves are actually made with a non-stretch fishnet fabric. It is tight and unforgiving which limited my range of motion. The fishnet material also seemed cheap (looked a little hooker-esque). Lastly - for being a wide size, the dress was very tight. It did not fall away from the body like the photo suggests. Be sure to order your free second size in the next size up! Or just pick a different dress.

The delicate detail at the top brings the eye up, and the peplum around the belly hid my early baby bump! (and my posts baby bump, too!). Would buy this dress if it were still available!

The dress fit well for the size but the issue was it was not flattering on the top. The sleeves fit a little strange and were very tight compared to the rest of the dress.
