This party dress had everything I wanted for a red-themed festive fall event: party vibe; full coverage including long sleeves; cutout fabric, but comfortably lined; princess seams; good length for a grown-up; sleeves that buttoned so it was not obvious that they were too long on me. And it arrived several days early, erasing my anxiety! Wearing it, I found myself showered with compliments. Initially, I skipped over considering this dress because in the RTR photography it looked like faux leather, which is not “me,” but the client comments and pix told a different story. Renting this dress for this occasion was absolutely the right move!

this dress is not at all shiny like the photo. side zip, button sleeves. not a lot of give & stretch in the fabric, but comfortable for the evening out. the red color is absolute perfection and the "cut outs" make the dress visually interesting. lots and lots of compliments!

If you want all eyes to be on you, rent this fashion forward stunning dress. It was the best experience Ive had. Thanks RTR.

A little snug in the bust. Wore the size 16, however, needed a belt for the waist. Overall good fit.

I really liked the fit of the 14 but the armhole was a bit constricting. When I put on the 16 though it was just too big everywhere, plus it had a broken zipper. The 14 worked out well though. I got a ton of compliments on it!

I wore this dress out to dinner with my friends. The coated lace looked just like leather and I got several complements. The size 16 fit well everywhere except the upper arms, so I choose to wear the 18, which was a little larger. I dressed this down with black tights and high wedge ankle booties. Because the 18 was a little loose, I also wore a belt . I'm short, so the arm length was a little long, but it wasn't too noticeable. All in all, I think it was a cute dress.

I, honestly, have mixed emotions about this style. I love the idea and the color is wonderful and bright! In general, the style is true to size, if not a little bit larger. However, the upper arms are incredibly tight. If arms are your problem area, then this is definitely not the dress for you. Other than the awkwardness of the arms, I do really adore this style. It would be great for a night out!

So many people wear black dresses to events so this unique red dress stood out at our annual holiday party. I got complements all night. I wore a nude strapless bra and it was undetectable.

This was my first rental and I had a great experience! This dress was comfortable and perfect for my husband's work holiday party. I use a wheelchair full time so I am always seated, I thought it was both comfortable and flattering. I usually wear an 18 but wore the 20 because it was more comfortable for sitting. I got a lot of compliments!

Really cool fabric with a sheen that looks almost leather in person (photos don't show this). It is a heavier dress - despite holes, so I wouldn't reco for outdoors or summer. Great for hiding 'tummy' and comfortable to sit in. Top and sleeves are pretty structured...but not uncomfortably so if that is not your issue area. Reco sizing up for bust or arms as needed.

I waited until the very last minute to order this dress (late on Tuesday for that Friday) so my options were slim and it wasn’t what I really wanted initially. But I desperately needed a semi-formal dress for a fancy Christmas work party. I was nervous the look would be too edgy for my style, but I really loved it! The underlay covered my problem areas (fatty armpit region and love handles) and managed to give me a great shape. The fabric was a very sturdy quality fabric, not flimsy or fake leather like I anticipated. I got compliments all night long and I really wanted to keep this dress!!

Easy to wear, side zipper. A little snug in the upper arm but otherwise, perfect. Lots of fun. Need a strapless bra or a red bra. Enjoy this dress.

I ended up wearing the larger size of my two. The sleeves were too short in the 14w and too tight around the chest. I received a lot of compliments on the dress and it was really comfortable to wear. I'd rent it again.

I wanted something comfortable, trendy and fun to bar hop with the 29 yr old bride and friends. This definitely met all my expectations. The fit is true to size and I didn't have any issues with the arms being tight. I wore neutral block heel sandals to finish the look and recieved lots of compliments. The fabric was great and the color was vibrant and not at all pleather like as depicted in the pics.

Loved this dress. It was a showstopper and everybody noticed it. I got so many compliments in this dress. It was so much fun for a part with a Pop Art theme. I could have worn the 14 or 16, but went with the 16 since I wouldn't need to worry with spanx. You will want to wear a strapless bra with this dress. The upper arms are a little snug, but nothing to really worry about. Loved this fun party dress!

This dress was beautiful and definitely a show-stopper! I ordered the 18 and could've even gone down a size. It was forgiving for those with large hips like me because of the empire waist and flare of the dress. I felt amazing and received many compliments. I did not have any issues with the arms like some of the other reviewers stated. This was my first RTR rental and I will definitely try it again! The dress was high quality. Not nearly as shiny as the stock image displays. It was perfect. Since there are holes in the design you'll need a strapless bra or cheat with a red bra like I did! Rent this gown ASAP! You won't regret it! :)

14W. it fit true to size. I am a 14 so it has some extra room. Very fun dress. "Holes" in fabric draw a lot of attention from people.

I wish I would have rented one size down. I'm sort of between sizes & I opted for the larger size. The waist was too big & I did have room in the arms. But- I was still super happy with the dress. Had so much fun in it. I think I'd rather err on the side of too big than too small.... The think I found off about this dress is the cuffs wouldn't stay buttoned.

The arms are tight other than that everything was fantastic!

I wore this fun red dress with Fuschia / pink shoes and a fuschia / pink bag. It was an annual work event, and I got so many compliments. It's a little snug and fitting in the top arms, but was a pretty comfortable dress. The picture doesn't do it justice, it's very well made dress.

The dress fits true to size. But, I did wear my backup size because it camouflaged my " spare tire." I loved how comfortable the dress was! The sleeves were just right for me and the length was perfect. I was sad to have to switch up my planned cute shoes/hose for tights and boots because of the Polar Vortex making it -27°.....but, tights and boots worked just fine. I LOVE Rent the Runway and they always do a fabulous job!

I usually wear a 14 but wore a 16 in this because the arms were a little tight in the 14. It's not as shiny as it looks in the pictures. It's a beautiful color and so fun. The only thing I didn't like was I felt like it should flare out more but it instead was a little fitted in the stomach area - but it still looked nice.

Beautiful color! The fabric is more lacy than the picture looks, which is really nice. It doesn't have a lot of shape and I wish it was more fitted but very comfortable to wear. I'm 5 1" and it hit above the knee. You need a red bra then you don't notice straps.

The fit and flare cut was very generous, and even though side zippers usually make me super anxious (for whatever reason they are ALWAYS a challenge to zip past the fit part of the dress) this side zip was super easy to close. I ended up wearing the 14W and I had a lot of room to spare around the waist and bust. The shoulders did feel a little tight considering there was so much room in the rest of the dress. The design was on trend, the color was vibrant, and the long sleeves made it appropriate for a winter event. I would definitely recommend this dress if you love a fit and flare design.

I wore the 14, with 16 as a back up based on other reviews. The arms were not generous, and had very little give. I don't have problems often with arms fitting tight, so I was glad that this fit well through the biceps. The forearms fit loose, bell'ing out. Button closure at wrists were left unbuttoned so I had arm mobility. Chest fit was a little snug but not horrible. Strapless bra is a must. When lifting my arms, the chest would rise and not lay flat. This is not the dress to wear to go dancing but was great for corporate setting, fashion forward conference. The length was great too, as I'm taller and have some booty and hips, they sometimes can make a dress to short for me. Overall, a great dress. If I were wearing it to have high mobility in, I would have worn the 16 for room for activities.

I am regularly a size 18 but I ordered a 20 as my extra because I read a review that said the arms were tight. I ended up wearing the 20 because I was worried about the arms in the 18. Overall the size 18 fit better but the arms didn't look right. I was very happy with my experience. It came early which was really nice for accessories purposes. It was a last minute order but it was funky and I received a lot of amazing compliments about its originality!! Now looking for other events that I can rent for :)
