This dress was comfortable and flattering! The lining rides up a little bit, but if I had used a little fashion tape to stop that, like I had planned, I'm sure that wouldn't have been a problem. On the model this dress looks like the middle strip is black or darker, but in person it's all one color. I received lots of compliments in this dress and would definitely rent it again!

I rented a size 2 and 4 based on other reviews and pictures. At first, I was worried that the 4 seemed like it would be too snug, but it actually became more comfortable the longer I wore it. I knew I had to wear tights since I have leg tattoos that I wanted to cover, so I thought this dress would look fine with them and it worked out great. I got lots of compliments on it, the fabric was so soft, and it was the perfect length for a business formal party. I'm very pleased with my rental and will definitely be renting again.

This dress was actually my back up dress but fortunately my 1st choice didn't fit because this dress was perfect. It looks beautiful and the color is great. The lace overlay design looks black in the picture but it is actually a darker green, which I loved. This dress is very flattering and was the perfect length that I was looking for. I am 5 feet even and it came just above the knees. The fit is great, it hugs the curves while at the same time is very comfortable because of the stretchy material. If you are planning on wearing this dress to an event with lots of dancing, this dress is perfect because again, it is VERY comfortable to move around in. I really am happy that I chose this dress and hates that I have to return it.

The dress is a great material! I am 5'6" and while that's not too short, I found the dress to run kind of long, but the slit in the back went very high up kinda making for a little bit of an awkward fit. It is very classy though and I got a lot of compliments on it when I wore it to my boyfriend's fraternity's formal.

The dress fit well on the top half but I'm a short girl so the dress was a bit too long and a little looser at the bottom. I would recommend wearing with heals for short girls.

The middle of the dress is not as black as it looks in the photo. Its actually more of a very dark green. The dress was comfortable and fit well. It wasn't uncomfortably tight, as the material had some strecth, but it comformed over the hips and body to show off your shape. I was going to wear spanks but the material is thick enough to keep things covered. Overall I really liked this dress!

I wore this dress to a VIP event for the film industry. Great quality! The material does stretch and there is a built-in slip. The dark green color was a great option for me. The dress ran small. I usually wear a 6 and I ended up wearing an 8. A really great dress! I got a lot of compliments.

This dress was great and flattering but the slit in the back was VERY short Thankfully this was a winter wedding so tights were appropriate. Definitely would be inappropriate otherwise!

Would rent again

This dress was sent as a back up when the original dress I picked out was not available (it was returned in bad shape). This dress was elegant yet fun and was super easy to dance in. I got a lot of compliments. As some other people noted, the dress is all green, not with black stitching, as it might look in the picture. I never would have picked this one out on my own, but was SO happy when I tried it on. Totally would wear it again!

I got this as a backup dress last-minute. Worked out perfectly. It hugs curves well, but without being restricting or too tight. I danced all night in this and was super comfortable while still looking polished.

Perfect and slimming for my petite body-not too long, not too short. Dress is a dark green, almost black which is a nice alternative to the LBD.

The showroom experience really makes all the difference - this dress is SO much more flattering in person than it is on the model. I was browsing the site for days and this dress never hit my radar. In the showroom, the stylist grabbed this for me and we both knew once I put it on it was the PERFECT dress for my occasion. Fit like a glove. Got compliments all night.

Wore this to a corporate party. It's always tough for me to find a dress for these events that's conservative enough while still being fun. This definitely fit the bill. Runs true to size, and was long enough to be appropriate. The dark green color and lacey accents made it stand out from the mostly black dresses people went with. Got many compliments, too :)

I would recommend this dress to everyone. The shape and tailor makes this dress perfect for all body types.

I rented this dress for a winter wedding and it was perfect! Dark green is a popular color right now but the fit was very modest for a wedding. I ordered the 2 and 4 in this dress- I usually wear a size 2 but wore the 4 but not because you think! Because our hotel reservations were so messed up, I only had 30 min to get ready. My boyfriend and I honestly though the 2 and 4 LOOKED the same when on. The 4 was a bit more lose and it did end up scrunching. But I only kept the 4 on because it was the second dress I put on and there was no time to switch back! So I would say it runs true to size and is perfectly modest for a wedding. I gave it 4 starts because I'm not that big a fan of lace - but I received a lot of compliments!

The dress fit well and was true to size. It was a little tight in the hips, but going up a size only added fabric in the chest so I went with the 8 and not the 10 due to my smaller chest size. The one thing I did not notice when renting the dress was the slit in the back. For taller women, like myself, this is a slight problem because it came very far up. I ended up wearing leggings under the dress because of it. It is also very fitted at the bottom and again, being taller, I was pulling it down every so often. It wasn't too short to the point that I was uncomfortable wearing the dress in general though.

I wore this to a wedding rehearsal which was in a Catholic church in Utah in Dec. I wanted to be covered up/conservative but cute. I wore the size 2 so that it wasn't clingy to my backside. The size 0 would have fit perfectly for a nice dinner date. I paired the dress with black tights and booties. The color was great especially for the holidays!

Dress is even better in person than photographs. Sad I didn't get the chance to take one. Perfect length, fit well without clinging. I wore it to work and a weekday evening party, and it was perfect for that. I'd wear in Spring or Fall.

Was too small for me

This was my back up dress, and I didn't wear it. The material is very silky and soft, and the dress was pretty. Great for Fall or Winter. It just didn't quite fit me well enough. The top was too tight and the hips were too big. This would likely be better for a B/C cup with some hips or a full booty...not for petites.

The color of the dress looks black in the middle but is more a dark green color, making the dress very monochromatic. Would need to add a pop of silver or gold to off set the green. Didn't end up wearing this dress as it did not sit on my hips like I was hoping. Runs slightly large around the hips, would go size down to be more form fitting.

A stylist sent this to me as a backup when my original dress didn't work out, and I did not like it at all. The stripe down the front and the colorblocking just overstates curves and lumps (even on the model, who probably really doesn't even have any lumps!) It was disappointing because I typically love all RTR dresses, but this was just not good.

HUGE. I am pretty petite but I have never had a problem fitting into a size 0, but this dress was completely unflattering on my frame. I really wish it would've fit as it is a beautiful, conservative, well made dress.
