Loved wearing this dress as a wedding guest. It is so original and fun! Very comfortable and easy to style. I am tall, 5'11", so when I had 4 inch heels on the dress did not touch the ground, but that wasn't something that really bothered me. Another thing about the fit is that it was kind of wide in the hips and I had some extra fabric around that area. Again, not a big deal, just something that I noticed. Overall I loved wearing this dress!

Wore this to a black tie wedding, had to tape the front to make it into a vneck since it seemed a little matronly on me when buttoned all the way up. Very unique dress! Also was a little short which is strange since I'm only 5'3".

The details in this dress are so gorgeous. I didn't read that the dress is recommended for people 5'2" to 5'6" so it was too short on me at 5'9". The lace panel in the front is are through- it was fine to wear a nude bra (You can see it up close in the sunlight though). The fabric is very soft and thin- very comfortable. I could not button the top button on my neck, but it looks fine open.

Soft fabric. Flattering cut. Lace "Bibbing" in front subtle sexy. Perfect slit length. Not hoochie mama. But by no means dowdy. I LOVE this dress. Compliments from everyone at a contemporary Gallery Opening. These folks know good clothing. This is a stunner.

I am 5'2 and with 4 inch heels the dress was still a tad long but so worth it.

You will not be disappointed with this stunning showstopper. It's incredibly well made and flatters your shape even without wearing spanx. I rented the 6 because the 4 was unavailable at the time for a black tie wedding . It's too wide in the hips. Anxiously waiting the arrival of the size 40r (4). You'll be the belle of the ball of this elegant, sophisticated beauty. Highly recommend.

Showstopper! Very lightweight fabric which is perfect for traveling with but tailored and silky so feels expensive and gorgeous. Loads of compliments and such a comfy and flattering fit. Highly recommend for someone wanting a classy and bit different wedding guest outfit.

Love this dress. I wanted to rent the 42 but they were out. So I got the 40. The 40 was tight on my butt but I made it work.

I wore this to a black tie wedding after giving birth 3.5 months earlier. I needed something that was elegant, had good support that could be worn with a regular bra, and would be good for dancing. This dress was perfect -it was forgiving, light weight, and easy to put on. I usually wear a size 4 and am a 34D - but needed something a bit larger for the chest and stomach area with the baby weight still coming off. This was perfect. I received tons of compliments and felt very sexy. I also did not wear it buttoned up. I was concerned about it being too conservative and a little Geisha vibe-y. A little tape to tuck it under and stay put and it was just right. I think this would be a great dress for something looking to have a good time, feel confident, and stand out a little!

Wore it to a black tie wedding & the ONLY con was if you looked close enough you could see my nipples, eek! I have tiny boobs but ended up wearing bandaids so I didn't feel exposed!

This was my back up dress but I ended up wearing it because it is so flattering. It is true to size (I wear 4-6, and wore the 42R only bc the 40R was a little snug around my rib cage). Im 5'5" and had 4" heels and it was the pefext length. Got tons of compliments and would highly recommend.

Fantastic dress, Best RTR choice yet, photos don't do it justice. Actually, this was a backup dress for me, as I couldn't make a decision from the online photos. I'm so glad I got it. 100% Silk, very comfortable and SO MANY COMPLIMENTS. Wore it with 2" heels, taller heels would have shown more shoe below the dress. This probably isn't a dress for bustier ladies. Everyday nude bra, no shapewear needed. I marked true to size because this is the first European sizing dress I've ever worn, so I can't compare.

My absolute favorite rent the runway dress of all time... and this wasn't even my first pick! It arrived as a backup and thankfully it did not let down. It fits true to size, I'm a size a US 6 with a straight build and the 42 fit perfectly. The silhouette it gave me was stunning! A bit snug around the rib area when zipping up, but not too much. The front lace area is definitely sheer (but a thick sheer) so I recommend wearing something under it, I just went with a maroon bra since i didn't have any nude laying around and it worked well. I wore this dress to a fall wedding and received tons of compliments, great for anything formal. My boyfriend I loved it so much we wanted to keep it... but the way that price tag is set up... lol

This was a backup style which I wasn't crazy about at first. Once I put the dress on, that all changed. It fit me beautifully and complemented my curves. Loved wearing it and got lots of compliments. I wore this to a black tie wedding and it was the perfect mix of demure for the church and fun for the reception.

This dress was absolutely stunning and I received SO MANY compliments all evening! I think it would be very flattering on most body styles due to its cut. I do think the top of the dress fits a smaller bust (under D) best, as I was just barely able to button the middle button and was paranoid all night that a button was going to come popping off. Thankfully, that did not occur! It is worth mentioning that the two lace panels on either side of these buttons are somewhat sheer, so you have the choice of wearing a black bra underneath (which creates a visible silhouette) or a nude bra to maintain the illusion of the dress. I chose to do the latter, although I understand the appeal of the former. If you want to wear this for a formal event and are tall, take note that in the photo of me alone in the mirror, I'm wearing 2 inch heels - this dress is not ideal in length for taller girls if you are looking for floor-length formal attire. But on the other hand, it will still give you the opportunity to show off your fancy footwear. ;)

Wore this gown to a black tie wedding in South Beach, Miami. It fit perfectly. Just enough room to eat, drink, and of course dance the night away. I wore a black bra underneath as the front bodice area has a lace see-through detail. Also, the gown is a light material so I stayed cool in the Miami heat.

Fit is true to size; I'm between a 4-6 and I went with the size 6 equivalent and it was comfortable...not too big. Lots of compliments on this dress. Soft material. One of my favorites.

This dress is beautiful. I wore it to my son's school gala. When I walked in, three different people stopped me to tell me how much they loved the dress. It was great getting the attention and feeling so confident. My favorite rental and it is comfortable and flattering

Ok, not really, but I did go to a blacktie affair and this dress was perfect for that. It was in a convention center, so I knew if I wanted to have a good time, I needed to be comfortable. This dress helped me do that. Not only was it gorgeous, it was COMFORTABLE. I probably could have worn the 6 and it be more form fitting, but that wasn't what I was going for in this evening. BTW - I am NOT 5'10''. I have changed my profile several times and it keeps it for some reason. I'm 5'3'' and it was a little long on me. Maybe a petite with lower heels would have made it even more comfortable.

I LOVE E. Ungaru! His dress and designs are very well made, including the material and makes me look like a million dollar! This dress is so impressively beautiful and perfect on me (as you can see lol)! I got so many compliments during this night and the length was just perfect with a 3-inch heels (I'm 5'4"). I would definitely rent this again! One of my fave RTRs so far!!!

I went back and forth on wearing this dress to my niece's wedding. In the end I went for it and I'm glad I did. It was the perfect dress. The dress is extremely well made and light but still was warm enough for an outdoor, well tented, wedding in New England in the fall (40 degrees outside). Fit comments: I could have probably gone a size smaller (42R), but the 44R was not noticeable big on me. The dress is very long. At 5'4" with 5 inch heels it was still an inch too long. Since I had to hew it anyway, I took it up 3 inches and wore 3 inch heels (remember outdoor wedding). The hemming was a bit tricky until I figured it out. First you need quite a bit of fashion tape. The process I followed was: tape the lining to the dress, start taping the hem up at each side of the slit and then at each of the seam lines, then hem up the parts between the seam lines. I did tape all the way around (no gaps) for both attaching the lining and the hemming. I lightly steamed the hem so everything hung correctly. This isn't as hard as it sounds once you get the hang of it. I danced all night and nothing came loose. The next day the fashion tape came off easily and I just lightly steamed the bottom of the dress. One other thing to note is that the black lace panel in front is see through. I wore a black bra and it was fine. Bottom line: I would rent this dress again for a special occasion.

I am usually a 6. Wore the 8, it had room to spare but I wanted to be comfortable walking. So definitely true to size. I am 5'9 and wore boots with a 1 inch heel. The dress did not touch ground. I couldn't have worn heels. The dress looked expensive and did not wrinkle.

This dress's fabric is beautiful, and had I been able to fit into it, it would have been a very wonderful experience! I sized up after reading the reviews, but even still it was WAY too tight with no give whatsoever on the hips and chest. If the size above this becomes available I will try to rent it! Also, this dress ended above my ankles so wearing it with heels is out of the question (I'm 5'10")

The dress was perfect for a formal wedding and it stood out with its pattern and cut! I was worried about the fit but the 40r fit well, snug at the waist but not uncomfortable. I didn't even have to wear a spanx cuz the fabric was forgiving. The only thing is the top is see thru so you have to wear a nude bra. I wish I could have kept this dress!!

All in all, this dress was simply fabulous. You must be thin and fit because it will show every curve. The only issue I had and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was, because I have a large chest, I had leave some of those buttons at the top open. They just would not close! It was a different look, but still great. I ended up using fashion tape to keep the sides of the buttoned top down and in place. Also, be prepared and know that the lace in the top is see-through and unless you have the perfect bra, your girls will be doing a little peekaboo all night. You can have them perfectly placed behind the right piece of decorative lace, but even then, if you look closely enough, you will be able to see flesh. I went braless, but you'd best be confident if you are going to do it. ;)

Wore this to a black tie NYE party in NYC - felt amazing in it!

The fit was great, I loved the sleeve and the slit. The panel in the middle is truly see through. It would be beautiful for a wedding or less formal occasion. The material was not formal enough for me to wear to a black tie event.

This dress fit like a glove and I received so many compliments on it. I'm usually a 2 or 4 and ended up wearing the 4. I'm 5'3" and the length was perfect with 3" heels.

The material is not stretch, and it fit like a glove.. but if you want to sit down or eat... consider a larger size. I usually wear a six.

THIS DRESS!! Pictures don't do it justice. The value is in the quality and the fit. I felt like a million bucks in it and got as many compliments. I wore it to a wedding and it was the prettiest dress there, save the bride's, of course. This dress is what RTR is all about. I don't know how I will ever top it. The lace inserts on the bust are see-through, so I wore pasties to conceal the nips. The dress worked well for my small chest, as there wasn't much room in the top.

The pictures do not do this dress justice! It is absolutely amazing! The print, fit, fabric.... just perfect!

I could not have been happier with this dress. It's comfortable, yet slimming and flattering. The lace panel down the front is sheer, so I wore a bodycon nude tank under the dress, but you could also wear black if you prefer. I'm 5'6", and with small kitten heels the hem just skimmed the floor.

***I don't remember what size I wore!*** Nothing but great things to say about this dress! Hides anything potentially unflattering and Accentuates all of the lovely things about an hour glass figure. The slit is not too high. I'm 5'5 and the R length was PERFECT for my 2 inch heels. I wore a black bra with it. The lace in the front is see through. But my black bra gave it a heart shaped peekaboo neck line that was just enough sass/class. Wore this on the red carpet at the Oscars. It received a TON of compliments. Great for ALL AGES. Hint: wear nude shoes with large earnings and hair up if it lands anywhere near the shoulders.

Got lots of compliments, it felt well made, runs true to size, hem on the size 4 stuck out a little so may consider pinning it up if you get that same one. Conservative but still fun ans stood out

The Dress is more stunning in person than pictured. There isn't any give in the fabric so if you are concerned, I would order a size up. I received a million compliments the evening I wore it.

I rented this for an outdoor wedding, but ended up in a different dress. Absolutely gorgeous and true to size. The fabric is beautiful and the lace details are gorgeous. Will definitely rent again in the future if another opportunity comes up!

It fit perfectly.
