Compliment city with this one. People kept coming up to me and asking where I got it. This was my backup and I ended up choosing this one due to its flowy and elegant feel. It runs large in the bust and I'm small on top, so I wore a padded strapless bra which helped fill in some of the gap. It didnt slip down like most strapless dresses on me due to the cinched waist. The black velvet top isnt constricting at at all, its very stretchy. Would rent again!

Wow! This dress exceeded my expectations. I wore it for my son’s outdoor wedding. The top is black velvet with stretch, the skirt is knife pleat, satiny & flowing. I ordered the 6 & 8. With the stretch in the bodice I wore the 6 because it hugged the top better and the gown was shorter. It stayed in place the entire day. I am 5’2” & wore 3” heels. On hard surfaces the skirt brushed the floor but on the grass it pooled on the ground. I wore SPANX b/c otherwise the dress stuck to my body. The zipper is easier with two people but is still zippable by yourself. I did not wear a bra b/c of the deep plunge, but the top stayed in place with no tugging back up. I received so many compliments from guests of all ages. This is one of my favorite gowns ever.

Wore this to a black tie wedding and loved the length of it as someone who is 5’5”! Also was 22 weeks pregnant at the time and it fit the bump nicely. I don’t think it would work as well past the 22 week mark as it was snug and a bit weird fitting with the top. Overall it was great, comfortable, and got lots of compliments! Did need fashion tape for the top as it was bent a bit weird.

I’m normally an 8 but the top fitted large on me. Thank goodness I had a free backup size 6, ended up wearing the 6. The top stands on its own & the dress length is to the floor. I got many compliments about my look.

I thought this was going to be a basic gown but it was so beautiful in person and looks classy and expensive!! I’m a true 10 and it fit tts - the zipper was a little hard to get up as a single lady but no other issues - I did need to wear a strapless bra as a B cup was pretty roomy but it stayed up all night with no issues! Would absolutely rent again

Wore this to a school formal gala. Literally got compliments all night! It was such a gorgeous and effortless dress, I felt very elegant and comfortable in it. The length was perfect with 2-3 inch heels (I’m 5’4” for reference). It was true to size. Look no further, you’ve found your dress - rent it!

Absolutely loved this dress! While both of them fit me, the 0 was more snug in the bodice, and didn't require as much tugging up, so I wore the 0. I would suggest sizing down if between sizes, because the dress did loosen up while wearing. Length was perfect with anywhere from 0-2" heels for me (5'5"), but I wouldnt have worn any higher heels or the dress would have felt short. NO BRA - the bodice is lined and slightly padded in the boob area, and along with the boning, the dress doesn't require a bra - and you really can't wear one anyway. Anything i tried either caused the bodice to stick out and create a gap, or didn't work with the cut. I also tried the stick on bras, AND stick on Boombas, neither of which worked either. But honestly it was OK - and I am not someone who EVER goes without a bra normally. I have a very flat chest and found the bodice to be a great fit regardless.

I wore this to a formal birthday party and it was the most comfortable peice ever. Everything stayed in place and flowed very well. I am typically a 4 and can alternate between sizes 2-4. The 4 fit perfectly. I am 5’2 and wore 3.5” heels and it just hit the floor. It was just right with the heel height. I was initially hesitant as it did not have many reviews and pictures but when my 1st dress didn’t fit I figured I had nothing to lose.

One of my absolute favorite! simple yet unique and comfortable. I’m 5’3”and it was just a little long but with heels all was great. Highly recommend!

I felt incredible in this dress and got so many compliments! The dress fit well except for being a little tight at the waist but perfectly wearable. My measurements are a true dress size 12 and the 14 was just right so I would size one size up. Overall, so so pleased with this dress and highly recommend. I wish I owned it!

I wore this to my anniversary dinner. There is some boning on the top. I used fashion tape to make sure that the top stayed in place. It was nice for the evening and I won’t be renting this again. I ordered the 12 and the 10, I wore the 10 because it fit better in the waist.

I loved wearing this dress and would rent again. The top was a little large but wore it anyways.

The dress definitely needed some steaming on the bottom. The dress was long on me, but with heels it just puddled slightly on the floor.

The top was a bit large and needed a quick pull up occasionally throughout the night. The dress is great if you have a thick midsection. It was comfortable and draped beautifully.

This dress was very comfortable and I received a lot of compliments. My only complaint is that I needed to use a lot of double-sided fashion tape to keep the top of the dress in place because the boning didn’t hold well.

Only issue is with RTR’s dry cleaning… the little pads at your boobs weren’t handled properly and were folded up within the dress, so it didn’t lay flat. Ample room in the bust!

I’m usually a size 12/L but can also wear a medium in some brands and have a full hourglass figure. This dress fit awkwardly on my curves and was too small overall. It was not flattering. It wanted to bunch up above my hips instead of laying over them. Could not wear. The size up did not come in as expected so not a great experience this time.
