I could have worn the size 0, but it was a bit tight under the arms. The 2 was more comfortable and appropriate for this business casual event. Loved the color in the unique print.

i rented this for a baptism reception. the details about this dress add so much zing and flair; they really elevates the dress above others. it is so finely tailored, the fabric is beautiful; a vivid print. the neckline has an unusual and pretty shape that is subtly distinctive. the yellow pop of color gets everyone's attention. the size 8 had a hot pink grosgrain ribbon along the interior of the back zipper that I loved but the size 10 did not. the dress is comfortable and very flattering. the interior is lined with turquoise satin. the upper back panel is black: another stylish feature.

I'm not much for bold prints, but this dress caught my eye and I rented it for a semi-formal work awards ceremony. I have never had so many compliments on a dress! The fit is divine: figure hugging but a thick, forgiving fabric. I have a pretty hourglass shape and the pattern is perfect for accentuating your curves or creating them. I wore a regular bra and it didn't show all night, even though the neckline is pretty low. The pop of neon at the bust is a great touch. The dress hit me just above the knee. LOVED IT!

Loved this dress! The bust was a little snug in the size 8, but just about perfect in the size 10. I loved the purpley-blue color, and I got so many compliments on it. Would definitely recommend it!

I always look for dresses that hit me at the knee and this one was perfect. It was heavier than I thought with a full lining but still comfortable for an outside July wedding reception. It certainly was different from all the other dresses at the party. I was very comfortable and danced without any issues. I also rented the 12 for my back-up dress, but it squished the girls! The 14 was perfect!

This dress is SUPER comfortable and the pattern is absolutely beautiful! I felt so incredible wearing this dress to a wedding I attended. It's very unique and the size 12 fit really well!! I am normally a 10, but the size was just too tight for me. I would keep this dress if I could!

I rented this dress for a formal dinner banquet. I ordered it in a 12 and 14, but they informed me at the last minute the 14 was not available. I was nervous the 12 wouldn't fit, but luckily it fit more like a forgiving sheath dress than a formal wear type dress that sometimes runs small. The print was truly amazing and I got a lot of compliments and definitely stuck out among the solid colored dresses there. I would note that there is something weird that does not show up clearly in the photos that is on the dress itself. At the chest area cutout there is actually a neon yellow piece of ribbon that goes across the V shape. I did not like this at all, but was unable to hide it. Otherwise, it was a great dress.

I went into the Rent the Runway store at Henri Bendel (which I recommend you to do if you're in the area! The Bendel location is better than the flagship in my opinion since there are more options) and tried this dress on in a size 4. It fit like a glove and I really loved that the length wasn't short since it was a family friend's wedding so I wanted to dress a bit more conservative. I ordered a 4 and a 6 as my backup since I'm usually a size 6 in dresses. When I tried both on, I decided to go with the 6 instead (which they didn't have on the store so I didn't have it to compare originally) because it just felt a bit more comfortable and I felt that I would have more room to move around while dancing & eating ;) The dress is gorgeous and they both came in great condition. I love the neon detail right between the V in the dress and (although you can't see it when on) there is a neon pink lining inside the back zipper. I took a cue from that and painted my nails neon pink and really loved the pop of color, so thank you to the dress for that inspiration! The fabric isn't super stiff so it's very comfortable and easy to move around in. This was my first dress that I ever rented from Rent the Runway and I couldn't be happier!

Dress fit beautifully. Perfectly modest yet fancy enough for a church wedding leading into a hotel reception. Fabric was soft and slightly stretchy for a comfortable fit. Rented two dresses and my sister said both looked as it they were made for me. SO much better than spending hours in the mall!

The dress definitely looks better in person than it does on the site. Very figure flattering !

My favorite new RTR dress. It's a great pattern which is super flattering for the spring and summer. Material is light and thin without being see-through and still covers problem areas. There is a small piece of neon fabric at the bust which is a great color addition! Would highly recommend for a work event or a cocktail party. Pattern is great!

This dress is a classic sheath and fit true to size. While it is form fitting there was ample room for my "problem areas" on top and in the middle. Those who smaller on top may consider sizing down for their extra size. It worked well for a "cocktail chic" charity event.

I wore this dress for a Junior League awards and installation dinner with a fiesta theme, The dress was comfortable even though it didn't have a lot of give. The only slight fit issue I had withe the dress was that it was a little loose on top and would probably fit a small C cup a little bit better than my small B cup. The length of the dress was perfect too, and I was wearing 3" heals. I couldn't get past the yellow strip of material (reminded me of a swimsuit) so I pinned it under and it stayed pinned the entire time. I would rent this dress again for a daytime wedding or party without a second thought. I would also rent the same style of dress if it came in other patterns or colors. My only other suggestion is to slip into the dress, not pull it over your head as when pulled over your head the dress isn't as smooth as when you step into it.

Fit was true to size. Top was big on me but that is pretty standard for me. Used fashion tape to keep my bra hidden with the low cut bust line. Overall a great dress and a great first experience with RTR.

I wore this dress for my husbands promotion - I wanted something classic, yet fun. I would have normally rented a 2, and 4 - but the reviews said the dress ran small, I ordered a 4 and 6. I ended up wearing the four, it fit well, but it was loose in the shoulders and neck area, which made me feel as if I had to adjust the top more than I would have liked. Otherwise, I loved the dress - I paired with light blue Kendra Scott earrings, and black strapping heels. I would have opted for black earrings, and pumps if it were for an evening event.

Super comfortable and stretchy. The dress is easy to dress up or dress down. The print unfortunately draws your eyes to the lower stomach, which was not entirely flattering, but we were going out to dinner, so I was sitting most of the night, so it wasn't a big deal.

The thigh area was a bit tight on me and the waist a bit too loose, but that's generally how I'm shaped. This is a gorgeous dress that garnered tons of compliments. It's more purple-y than blue though.

One problem. wore a 12 but probably need petite so I pinned up top of sleeves. Dress is great and comfy with some stretch.

This dress is very cool and easy to wear. I paired it with pink suede pump sandals and a white blazer for work. It was even cooler because it was a free birthday rental. VIP membership has it's perks!

The size 8 fit, but was on the tighter side so I went with the 10 to be more comfortable. The fabric overall is very sturdy, which was great for holding in some of my wobbly bits, but not too stiff.

Great color/pattern. I didn't mind the neon ribbon in front, a little pop of something different. There is no give in the fabric and I had to enlist help to get it zipped. It was pretty short - needed to be aware when sitting down and standing up - and I wear short dresses a lot.

It was very comfortable in this dress. I could dance and sit easily and was never adjusting or tugging at it.

I went to RTR store in Soho as I wanted another dress option for friends NYC morning wedding. Was disappointed with the selection of dresses, sizes, etc in the store BUT found this ONE dress. Beautiful Elie Tahari dress. Should have known before I looked at the label. This is one of my go to brands. I thought it ran on the small side as I am normally a 0 and this dress was a 2. I am short 4'11'' so I thought the dress would be a tad too long but it wasn't. I received tons of compliments on the classic style of the dress, colorful print and pop of modern with the yellow. It coordinated well with my fiancé's blue shirt and tie.

Dress fit was great. Delivery and packaging were perfect. Only negative was the lining on both sizes would show while seated and also at the neckline. Seemed to be from frequent wear but still got many compliments and was very comfortable. Fun dress that can be casual or dressed up!

I normally wear a 10, but was able to fit in the 8 comfortably. Very flattering style. Perfect amount of cleavage- not too low cut. Fun pattern. Nice, high quality material- smooth and somewhat thin- good for the outdoor wedding I attended. Length was modest without being frumpy. Could wear a normal bra, and the strap clips were clutch. Easy to wear and a great dress all around.

Overall, loved it. Nice fabric, very structured to help hide any flaws. My only issue is that on me the cut was way too low and the cleavage was over the top. I wore a lace cami under it which fixed the problem and blended well with the black, you couldn't tell it wasn't part of the dress. If you are larger chested and are wanting to be on the conservative side you should definitely plan to do the same.

I found the 0 to be tight. I ended up wearing the 2, and it was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

This back-up dress really came through for me after the dress that I loved did not fit right. The dress was a great color, very comfortable, and the fabric was appropriate for the summer but thick enough to hide any problem areas. The zipper was broken in the back--but I managed to make it work as best I could. I think I may have been able to fit into the 2--it doesn't run big per se, but I have a small waist and there was definitely some extra fabric there. I completed the outfit with nude pumps and purse and statement earrings.

Fit is true to size. It's a very comfortable dress, great for dancing. I loved the length, down to my knees. It is a very classy, yet sexy look. Some reviewers didn't like the strip of bright green at the neckline, but personally I loved it, I thought it was a perfect look. I would rent this again.

I got a ton of compliments on the dress & how it fitted my post baby body. I've been very self conscious about my post baby belly & whatnot, but the dress drew attention more to the neckline (just the right amount of cleavage) & the print. I wore this for my sister in law's baby shower & it fit the summer/daytime occasion perfectly.

This was sent to me as a back up when the dress I ordered was damaged. While not my usual style, this backup worked for our anniversary dinner out in Bermuda. The colors were nice and bright and it hugged my curves in the right places. I received many complements but also many drifting eyes due to the lower neckline. I paired with glass earrings and tan espadrilles for a nice summer casual look.

The dress is very pretty. My mom loved it. She doesn't have an account so I got one for her. Size 10 was good on her. The dress was on good condition overall but there was a loose button on one and the other the 'Elie Tahari' tag was loose and hanging by one end. Other than that, I do not have any complains.

This is a great dress that fits true to size. The material does a good job of smoothing things out and holding everything in place. You can also wear a regular bra with it, which is a plus. It is very low cut and makes the girls looks great, but might be a bit much on busty gals. I also really liked how versatile it was - dressy enough for an evening wedding but I also wore it to church the next day and didn't feel overdressed. Enjoyed wearing this dress!

I originally ordered this for a day wedding, but after receiving the dress - I saw that the material is printed so I felt that the dress was semi-formal and not appropriate for a wedding. I had a family engagement and luncheon party to attend the day after the wedding, so I was able to wear this the next day. I am size 6 and the hip area ran true to size. Unfortunately, I have a bigger upper body build (athletic body frame), so it ran tight around the arms. I had to wear a size 8 which fit better for my upper body, but was loose for my mid and hip areas. For those who are proportional in both the upper and lower body, I would recommend this dress for a brunch, lunch, or even a bridal shower event.
